Placed an online order of two bowls and one plate at 1:13. Was supposed to be ready at 1:25. Didn't get my food untill 2:10. They were out of chow mein. Gave us impossible orange chicken instead of chicken and green beans in one bowl. They gave me wontons and a free drink for the wait which was nice but good God, these employees need better support. What a nightmare. read more

Ordered on the app. My order was 15 minutes later then the estimated time. Three of the five items ordered were incorrect. Teriyaki chicken was badly burnt but correctly delivered as ordered. They didn't even offer me ranch dipping sauce for the almost raw broccoli on our where's the beef and broccoli. Staff at this new location is in desperate need of training. read more

I'm surprised their rating isn't higher. I've been regularly eating my lunch there for at least a year. The staff is always friendly and the food is always fresh. Like other businesses in the area, their staff is sometimes spread thin. People need to be patient. They always get food out within a few minutes when it's not available when you come in. The cooks and the servers always work hard. I would, and do, eat there often. read more

The worst panda express I ever been to every time it the food tastes old and not fresh the mess up ur order everything if u call a order in

I've never had anything but very positive experiences ordering from this Panda Express. The staff here are extremely hard working, and I wanted to leave a good review acknowledging them! Even when they're really short-staffed and busy, they do their best to get your order in and out as quickly as possible. And as it is the closest Panda Express to me, I'm a happy camper! read more

I want to thank Panda Express, I ordered kung Pao Chicken, and sweet fire chicken, I got a double order kung Pao Chicken instead. I ordered 3 orders of Chicken egg rolls we received 3 chicken egg rolls instead of 6 chicken egg rolls. We did not receive any sweet and sour sauce for the egg rolls as well as no soy sauce. Thanks a lot Panda, my husband says he will never purchase food from you again! I like Panda but because of your many errors due to you not paying attention to your orders I loose out! Note to you customers, If you order from this address, make sure you have Your complete order before you leave the building because they will short you! read more

Panda Express - Cashew Shrimp and Orange Chicken .... instead of broccoli beef and mushroom chicken :| - Chinese Near Me - Atascadero, California

I have been to this place 3 times and all 3 times I have regretted it. If you want Orange Chicken, go to Trader Joe's, it's better. The fried rice is flavorless so you're better off getting a box at Costco, so much tastier. Chow mein? Forget about it. Grab a Ramen from your cupboard and spruce it up adding sautéed veggies and leftover chicken or ham; you'll have a better version. The other main dishes never live up to the menu, If you can, avoid this place. Make a drive over the grade to the PE in SLO on Foothill. read more

My photo has been used to show dishes available at this establishment? Really? I was posting this to show the ridiculous small portion they served me for $13. Only reason why I'm writing this is to clarify that my picture was not to show a good thing. Even more disappointing. read more

I was excited to hear they open a location near me. But ended up extremely disappointed with what I got. I decided to order from the al cart menus, to try some items on the menu. I choose the smallest size but never images that it meant a kid size *see pic. I paid $4.90 per item, these item were about the size of a gerber baby container 2-4 oz. . I know I wanted to sample never imagine it was an actual sample size. If your hungry don't order from al cart or order the large size. On top of it all the food was nearly warm. Had to microwave it. Very disappointed read more

Cold food, rude staff. Came in on 9/9/21 @1111 and waited 20 minutes for some fresh string bead chicken for the hubs, no problem waiting since I had no kids with me. Me and the kids ate orange chicken and all got food poisoning! Service is usually rude AF! read more

There are new people working every time that I go there new manager every time also ... The owner needs to up the pay and hire people that actually know how to run a line in a busy restaurant read more

Very rude staff here! Was greeted by a very unpleasant girl. There was no one in line and no one in the store (makes sense when you have such a rude greeting). I will never go back to this establishment. Work on hospitality and customer service training. The food is also very inconsistent. I have ordered for delivery from here on multiple occasions and it burnt 50% of the time and decent the other 50%. Just drive to paso if you are wanting panda ( it's worth the 10 minute drive). read more

My family has been eating at Panda Express for several years. Tonight was the worst experience that we have ever had there. The rice was mixed with old hard and crunchy rice. The orange chicken was mixed with old hard to chew pieces. We could not even finish our meals. We are disappointed customers. read more

I found the online-ordering process here to be unreliable. They tell you that your food will be ready at a certain time but when you arrive to pick it up they never heard of you and expect you to wait at the end of the line. read more

What can I say. Love panda, but this location is still trying to figure it out. They only have like 10 entrees, which seems fewer than Paso. It's also slow. What is hard about scooping rice and entree s into a container? When I worked fast food 40 years ago, we hustled when the lines got long. But at lunch last week, I stood in a 15 minute line (just 3 parties ahead of me) only to find it would be another 15 minute wait to get Kung Pao. It's lunchtime, expect more demand and plan ahead. read more

Worse panda ever. They are vary skimpy with there servings. Going to pretend Atascadero doesn't have one and just go to Paso from now on.

I regularly go to Paso for panda and was super excited to have one locally but... Me and my brother ordered teriyaki chicken for pick up when we got home it was just grilled chicken with no teriyaki?? Pretty bland start and then to top it off my brother who is highly gluten intolerant orders a second item that is not breaded and what he got was a small amount of what he ordered and a bunch of random pieces of breaded orange chicken mixed in. He ended up eating a piece by mistake and ruined the rest of his day because somebody was lazy and careless/sloppy. Overall a bad experience. Also the portions are tiny compared to the healthy sized scoops of chicken Paso dishes out. I'll be going there instead unless things change. read more

Panda Express - Fried rice, (non)teriyaki chicken, Kung pao chicken, unwanted orange chicken... - Chinese Near Me - Atascadero, California

Went there a little under a hour before they closed to a line of 4-5 people They only had one person working the food and the rest were sitting in the back packing their dinners for before they leave and when it came to me ordering there was only one portion of orange chicken left (disappointing enough) and one of the unintelligent coworkers asks her for the last of the orange chicken for her dinner( right in front of me) and when I asked if there was gonna be anymore of anything she said there wasn't gonna be anymore and when confronted and asked WHY she served her coworkers instead of the customers in front of me she just stood there scared and useless.please fire everyone and just hire a whole new crew I'm clearly not the only one who has problems with your bad customer service read more

Every time we order in or pickup via mobile app our order is wrong. Not to mention somehow our plate just gets skipped over when they're adding the entrees. The last time I ordered inside about three of us were just staring at our boxes just sitting there because the girl who's second in the assembly line thought they were waiting on food instead of checking them and putting in the food not to mention that same person mixed up our orders and didn't know who had what because all orders were just sitting there. At first portions were adequate now super small. Let's just say if I'm ever feeling like Panda I rather take the trip to Paso and get it there. read more

I came to this Panda Express from out of town thinking "how could a Panda Express get one star?" I quickly found out. I waited in line for 25 minutes to receive my food. The kitchen staff looked to be filled with high schoolers so I could sort of understand the disorganization. What I can't understand is how no one noticed plastic being cooked into the chowmein noodles seriously a chocking hazard. I'm glad I saw the plastic in the dark, this is my last time going to a Panda Express and I'm sure my heart will thank me for it. read more

This location is SUPER inconsistent. Some days their orange chicken is crispy and perfectly flavored, but then I'll order and the orange chicken is straight-up soggy and doesn't taste quite right. More often than not, they're off their game. Today it was downright inedible. Just ... go somewhere else unless you're ready to be disappointed. read more

Not sure why so many rate this so low. It's Panda Express. Is it as good as the Paso Robles location? No. But, pretty darn close. And, I think it depends when you go. The Paso location is almost always busy so the food is always fresh. Tonight I went and it was busy and the food tasted just as good! For me, I'm thankful I don't have to drive to Paso anymore for Panda. read more

Came in with my son to grab some dinner. Had to wait for the food to be cooked. Then was given the wrong bad. Yes I should have looked to confirm but it wasn't even busy in there so I didn't think I had to double check. Got home and they had given me the wrong order. No food for my son and everything wrong. I had to drive back from Santa margarita (wasted more on gas then the food was even worth) and then the bag that was mine was early was sitting there. So it's been atleast an hour since this bag has been sitting there. I didn't go in rude or hostile but did say I had to drive back 15 mins to get the food and they just gave me the cold food. Didn't even try to apologize or anything. Plus, when I walked in, everyone just kepted walking by my at the register looking around at each other to see who would go talk to me. No acknowledgment or anything. Could have at least offered fresh food. Terrible service. I have work in several fast food places and restaurants. That service was a joke. 0/10 would not recommend read more

If I could give them no stars I would. Last week we went in 20 minutes before they closed. They were out of almost everything and we were told they were cleaning up in the kitchen because they wanted to leave early. Tonight I went in to get dinner - couldn't order online because that's not working - and just opened my plate to find that they didn't give me what I ordered. They should just go out of business because they already are as far as I'm concerned! read more

one star is even a stretch. I watched them cook the greens, so it was fresh, but had absolutely no flavor, which maybe was better. I got teriyaki chicken, chow mein and spring rolls with above mentioned greens. Worst stuff I've ever tried to eat. My cat wouldn't even eat the chicken. I literally put 11 dollars down the garbage disposal. This was the first time I've ever tried this place and the last. read more

I had the second worst experience ever eating at Panda Saturday July 11th in Atascadero, California. There was hardly any entrees prepared and only one worker behind the counter, the rest of the staff were hanging out in the kitchen on their phones, I wanted a plate with chowmein, and a double order of Beijing beef. The Beijing beef was not prepared and I was told it would take 6 minutes, I said that's fine I am hungry so go ahead give me a plate with chowmein and a double order of orange chicken now, and a medium side order of Beijing beef when it's ready and a medium drink. The server prepared the plate then put it to the side and told me, she would ring up my order, she rang up my order , asked if I wanted to round up and donate my change, which I did and then handed me my receipt and walked away. The order was completely wrong and I had no food. She charged me for a bigger plate and no drink, I stood there trying to politely get her or anyone's attention for almost five minutes before she came back and with a tone asked if I needed something, I tried to be polite and said this receipt is not correct, I wanted a plate to eat now and a medium side order when it's ready along with my drink, she went over to where my food was put in a bag and puts it on the counter and starts to walk away again, I still trying to be polite say excuse me I need my drink, she comes back over and asks well did I charge you for one to which I said I don't know what you charged me for this isn't what I ordered, so she asks what size drink I want and I say it doesn't matter and point to the medium cup, she picks up the cup and says that will be $2.18. I paid and went to eat my food, but there was no utensils, no sauces, nothing. I flag her down again to ask for utensils at this point I don't know whom is more annoyed her or I, but I am at the point where I want to just walk out but still hungry. I sit to eat my meal and it is the most bland unflavored orange chicken I have ever eaten. A few minutes later she comes to the table I am eating at and slams down this tiny to go box which I can only assume is a kid's portion of an entree, definitely not the side order size I had requested. At this point I am done I refilled my drink disposed of my trash and walked out. I later went to leave feedback online only to have to scroll through 15 ads and never found the feedback survey, I tried calling only to get a recording that the phone survey had been disabled. This is all unacceptable and I will not use that location again read more

The food was exactly what I expect from Panda, although the current selection is not as large as pre-covid. I understand changes have had to be made and with that said my reason for 1 star is neither food nor customer service related. I was in on 9/29/20 at 8:14 PM. As I was leaving, the person I assume to be the manager, began yelling loudly at one of the employees in front of customers. As a store manager myself, you never yell at or belittle your employees, period. I will never return to this location. read more
