UPDATE (10/25/17): You will be shocked at what happened tonight. I used to go to Panda Express every Wednesday night because I have to stay in town. For the last five Wednesdays the food containers have been empty or very low with just scraps in them. They offer to start making the items while I wait. I have been walking out and going to other places that have food available. Tonight I called at 4:50 and asked for the manager. The girl said she would put the PIC on the phone. I explained what's been happening the last five weeks. I said I didn't want to waste my time coming in if they were not going to have food ready. She said, "To be honest with you, our less-skilled cooks are working this shift and they don't really care. I don't want you to waste your time. I don't think I could have food ready for you because I'm leaving in 10 minutes." Reduced from three stars to one star and I will not be coming back! Pros: The food is usually good to great (when they have food). Cons: 1) Empty food containers is very common. Recently they were out of Fried Rice and Chow Mein. After 8 minutes the girl asked if i wanted to start the rest of my order. I asked how much longer for the Fried Rice and she said, "They will start it as soon as the noodles are done." I walked out. Last week I went in again and multiple food items were missing. I walked out. 2) Customer service is lacking. They frequently charge the incorrect price or forget the Fortune Cookie or walk away before I can ask for soy sauce or mustard. Many of the new people do not know anything about the survey code. In spite of years of going through this with them I continue to offer them solid advice on how to improve via their surveys. 3) Sometimes there will be two employees dealing with the drive-thru and one doing everything else. It takes a while to get noticed. Many times one will start my order and walk away to dish up rice for the customer behind me. Another person will come and ask if I've been helped yet. There have been as many as four people involved with finishing a simple order for one person, which is inefficient. 4) They burn their Stuffed Rangoons. 5) Apparently nobody reads the surveys because nothing changes. The Bottom Line: I used to go there once a week but sometimes don't go for weeks at a time. If you go you must be patient as you will likely have to wait for them to make what you want. read more

I'm vegetarian. I also don't eat added sugar. If you love meat and sugar, this review may not be for you. New to the Albany area, I'm still yearning for low-priced and mid-priced places to eat in a variety of food styles. My wife and I have compromised on carry-out from Panda Express a couple of times. As a vegetarian I've ordered the mixed vegetables and spring rolls. The mixed vegetables are stir-fried without overcooking but I could easily pick up a bag of this mixture at the grocery and pop in the microwave. The spring rolls are lightly seasoned but mushy inside. To be sure, this is fast food. It is of reasonable quality but at best it is a compromise for convenience (near my home) and family harmony (spouse craving Chinese). read more

I'm not quite sure why people like Panda Express the food is only fair at best and is not true Chinese cuisine its a Americanized version of bad food that's Chinese. Their price point for food is a little on the expensive side and I wouldn't mind paying the price if the food was to be accommodating enough to be for that price but it's not. I I will not go back here again and there must be some other little local place that could do better food in here. I wish that for Chinese food and all ethnic foods would be original from their country and not bastardized by American influences. read more

I have enjoyed my meals at other Panda Express locations but not so much at this location. No one was in line when we arrived but stood at the counter for at least 5 minutes before we were acknowledged or helped to place our order. More than half of the entre selections were less than half full and others were almost empty. Although there seemed to be an abundance of employees working they seemed to be disorganized and at least two of them that were standing in front of us while we were waiting to be helped looked to be dishing up food for drive through orders and possibly phone in orders. After getting our food we could not find a clean table even though half of them had been unused from the time we walked in the front door. To top it off the fried rice was very dry. read more

I'm new to the area and found this Panda while searching for a new favorite spot. They have been pretty busy since I have been here. The food was fine, but what really expressed me was Michelle behind the counter and the gentleman working the window as well as the cooks. They all seem very busy with a small amount of staff. However, ever sense I have been here Michelle has been running her butt off! Helping everyone who has walked through the door! I've worked in customer service for a long time and they have a great attitude here. Hope it's like this everyday with the smiling faces and great energy! read more

Not impressed. Restaurant closes at 10pm. Coming home late from a baseball game and pull into the drive through at 9:40pm 2 cars ahead of us sat there for 10 minutes. Pulled forward and are informed they are out of everything. Don't advertise hours until 10 if you shut things down at 9:30. read more

Basic Panda Express. Nice staff, decent food, way too much plastic products. If you're not getting food to go and you're eating there in the restaurant, a big business like Panda Express can afford to supply real plates or at least recyclables. read more

Locked the doors about 10 minutes early before the posted closing time for the dining area.The drive thru was still open,but I was on foot.Looked to be understaffed looking inside and by line of cars waiting in the drive-thru. I went somewhere else as did at least one car load of potential customers. Update Okay doors and inside dinning are open A little longer now.Nice for summer time. No Pot sticker or EGGPLANT TOFU at this location. One to three stars to four. Open latter during the summer. 9:30 dine in and 10:00 pm for Drive-Thru. I still want my EGGPLANT TOFU. :( read more

This Panda Express is pretty good, for a Panda Express. It's not former cuisine, but it definitely isn't the worst Chinese food experience I've had. I ate here twice on my trip through Albany, and it was good enough for me to enjoy both times. It was always busy, but the staff was fairly friendly. read more

Prices for this food I don't think is very fair. Vegetables are ALWAYS practically raw, and the portions are super small. However I have found that if you order in a (To Go Box) you get more for your buck! Just a quick tip for you there. Store is very clean, people are always nice...But what can I say... It's disappointing to not get what you ordered, it's more disappointing to get dry, crunchy, clearly old and over cooked rice for dinner.

Quite possibly the worst Panda Express ever. They are frequently out of entrees and we have often been told, "It will be a 15-20 minute wait unless you'd like something else?" We tried to remedy this by ordering ahead online, but two out of the three times our food still wasn't done when we showed up after the specified time. We have contacted Panda customer service to voice our concerns and were given a gift card, but honestly - what good is a gift card if you can't even get what you want with it? Guess for now if we get a Panda hankering we will be heading out to Corvallis, because this location has proven time & time again they are completely incompetent. read more

I've ate at this location multiple times and never had any issues...except last week (6/15/15) I got extremely sick after eating here. Last Monday I had the orange chicken/friend rice combo for lunch (my first meal of the day). Within 3 hours I was puking and extreme chills set in. I had a fever, upset stomach, extreme stomach cramps and could hardly drink water for 4 days. Even had to go to urgent care to get nausea meds. Traumatizing! Will never eat here again. read more

Our meal at Panda Express was as usual, hot and tasty. The experience was absolutely overshadowed by the managers' behavior, however. As we were paying at the counter, Fei, the first manager, treated our server, Antonio, with extreme disrespect and belittlement. We spent the majority of our meal considering how to respond to her behavior. When we had finished, one of our group spoke to her about our mutual feelings. She was brusque and cold, giving us the impression that she simply wanted us out of her hair. She tried to justify her behavior by saying that Antonio was being trained for heavy business. However, we were the only customers in line at the time of this incident. As we left, another member of our group tried to speak to Antonio himself in order to express our appreciation of his service. The other manager on duty (we did not catch her name) pushed him out of the way and made it difficult to get the point across. We noticed that hung upon the wall were the "Panda Values," one of which is respect. Clearly Fei was lacking in that virtue in this instance. If a manager wants to get the best work out of an employee, shaming them (in front of others, no less!) is not the path to take. None of us will be returning to this Panda Express because of this incident. read more

As somebody who enjoys to eat at various places, I spend a lot of time looking for good places to eat. Whether it's grabbing a quick bite to eat, or sitting down and having a dinner with friends and/or family, different fast food places often serve similar type of foods and are extremely unhealthy. My favorites places to eat have to meet certain standards; it has to be affordable, service has to be good, food has to be tasty and not give you a heart attack after eating it, and the establishment itself has to be nice. After spending a good amount of my high school career eating fast food and the best place I have been at, so far, is Panda Express. THE FOOD: The food at Panda Express is probably one the most craveable out of any other fast food restaurants. The intoxicating smell of their orange chicken is one that is even more recognizable than Mcdonald's french fries, the fried rice is comparable to that of homemade fried rice, and their cream cheese rangoons are some of the best I have ever had. While not being gourmet, the food is quite delicious. THE PRICE: While not being extremely cheap, it is quite reasonable and the proportions you get will satisfy you. You would be amazed by how many combinations of food you can get for only $5.80. SERVICE: I had never had a bad experience at one of the chains and the staff doesn't try to push you to buy items. The staff is always friendly, no matter how busy they are. They even are willing to put together whichever combinations of the amazing food they have to offer. THE STORE: The floors and tables are always clean or are being cleaned, and not once have I had an issue with the cleanliness of the staff. SPEED: As you are telling the employees your order, they are already scooping it up right in front of you. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be one my merry way will a big bag full of delicious food. read more

Panda Express is a nice fast food choice. Another site had a review from a person named Felicia Roach (really?) who said they had messed up her order the last 17 times...... My question is why she went back the last 15 times. Maybe not a customer but a ex-employee with a grudge?!?! We like the food, prices and have never had bad service. Earlier this week I went through the drive through, and was helped by Michael, even through the drive through he offered me a free sample which was amazing! It was a very rainy dreary day out and I was not in a very good mood, but Michael's very positive upbeat attitude and service changed my day, I wouldn't think that someone serving my food at a drive through could make my day better. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with fried rice, the chicken was great, the fried rice was not my favorite, but I'm so impressed with the service Michael gave I will be a returning customer. read more

I dont eat here very often, but when i do, i always get the chow mein and orange chicken. That is my favorite. This location is very nice, as it is only a few years old. The inside is very modern and always very well kept as far as cleanliness. I have never had any issues with the employees being rude, and the line always seems to move along pretty quickly. One thing I particularly dont like about this store, is the location. The parking lot is not very big, and it is a huge pain to get in and out of because of traffic. I have spent a lot of time in that driveway waiting for an opening big enough to get my truck out of the parking lot and on to the road. Also, the other day i was here and was pretty bumbed to open my fortune cookie, only to find that it was empty. read more

1. They had us wait for an order of veggie rolls for about 15 mins. 2. When we got home, I noticed our order was incorrect. They left out 1 order of rangoons, and added a meat roll, and only included 1 sauce. 3. They neglected to give us any fortune cookies, after we had specifically asked for 4, and they agreed. 4. The drive thru cashier was not very friendly, and seemed inexperienced. Overall, this visit was ridiculous. The speed was more than15 mins, and they got our order incorrect! We had to spend another 30 mins to return to the store, because we trusted they did their job correctly, so we didn't check our order at the window. I notified the store immediately, they told us to bring back the food, and they would remake the order correctly. We returned to the store, and they replaced our food and gave us the correct order plus rangoons... but I ended up eating my dinner an hour after I had initially ordered it. Unacceptable. They should have had product ready to go in the first place, because a fast food restaurant's business is based on speed. read more
