    Sweet & sour chicken
    Laura H.

My friend took me here for lunch. It's in a shopping mall. It's not very big inside but it doesn't feel that tiny. They have a zen fountain which is really nice. You can seat yourself and they bring crunchy strips to the table. Anyhow they were good until our food came out. I ordered off the lunch menu and got sweet & sour chicken, fried rice, and egg roll. My friend got the sesame chicken with fried rice. For my dish the fried portion tasted homemade not weird looking chicken nuggets. I got my own bowl of sweets sour sauce which was nice bc sometimes they put to much. And last but not least the fried rice I couldn't get enough of :)

The food was priced fairly and came delivered professionally within the amount of time they promised It was just bland. I do not normally need to add soy sauce or seasoning but I did in this case Also the egg roll if you see it in the picture next to the fork, was the smallest eggroll I have ever seen about the size of my pinky I was surprised it was so plain after so many five star reviews

The decor is super cute, and the restaurant appears well-kept and clean. I ordered the shrimp lo mein, and it came out in a timely fashion (and without carrots, as requested). I thought it tasted delicious, I loved the shrimp, and the portions provided were generous given the price. I'd say this is one of the better Chinese food spots in Leesburg, and I'm sure I'll be back!

Awful. No flavor except for the stale ingredients. Frozen Chinese from the grocery aisle is better quality.

She truly was doing the job of multiple people and someone should really be assisting her, especially on weekdays. She was the best part of the experience. When we first walked in, the place was completely empty... honestly that should've been our first sign. Unfortunately, the food was horrific. Honestly one of the worst Chinese food experiences I've had. The bang bang chicken was basically straight mayo, the crispy beef was extremely salty, and the chicken texture was squishy and unpleasant. The crab rangoons were awful -- just cream cheese with no crab flavor at all. The only things we actually enjoyed were the fried rice and shrimp rolls. For the amount of money we spent, the food was absolutely not worth it. Sadly, we will not be coming back.

The moment I entered into the restaurant, I could realize it's not what it looks like on their instagram page. From the interior to cleanliness, this place was way below my expectations. Overall, it was very disappointing as I had a very high expectations.

Okay, so I wanted to start this review with just saying that this man who worked here was very nice…read moreand a super hard worker. God Bless you man. I really appreciate your work ethic and that you worked so hard even though you were the only person who was there. This man single handedly made our order of 4 trays, meaning we got 4 spring rolls, 4 parts fried rice, and orders of Lo Mein, Double Fried Pork, General Tso's, Kung Pao. That is a lot of food and I respect you greatly. Now onto the review. Walking into this restaurant we were greeted by a sticker that said, "People love us on Yelp" immediately prompting me to look at all parts of the restaurant as to make a great review. We were excited and hungry when we walked in and asked for our order as stated above. And as stated above there was only one man who worked there. Because he was the only man there, it took 42 minutes of waiting for that food to arrive and although the food was pretty tasty, it wasn't nearly worth the wait. I already stated my gratitude towards the worker there and I'll do it again. The Spring Rolls we had were fine and seemed average maybe a little below average. The Fried Rice was the same, I've had better I've had worse. Plus it was luke-warm. The General Tso's was absolutely PEAK! It was spot-on man. Same with the Kung Pao which tasted really good. The Lo-Mein however had minimal flavor and needed soy sauce and more veggies. The Double Fried Pork was very chewy but the sauce was really good. Overall, I did like the food somewhat and the only problem was that we waited 42 minutes. If the workers there are reading this, I would recommend having at least 2 people on the job at all times because 42 minutes is way too long. If anyone is reading this review and goes to this restaurant, please bring your phone, go into the bathroom, lift up the lid on the trash can, and see if there is still a picture of that one man on the bottom part of the lid. Then post it on Yelp. I will check back and see if anyone complied. That is my side quest for you today.

What I enjoyed about Yo more than a place like Dumpling District (very similar in menu) was the quality and vibes of the service and atmosphere. The Spicy dry noodles are definitely what drew me to come here and they did not disappoint. My kids loved the pork chops. The seafood soup was loaded! The flavors were exceptional. For example, the Panfried Pork Bun used to be my favorite item here but they've changed the recipe significantly. The pork filling used to be a lot larger and juicier...but now when you break open the bun, the filling is so small that half of the bun doesn't even have any meat. 80% of the bun is just dough and it's not fried well and quite greasy. Everything overall was way too greasy, including the crueller and the dry noodles were swimming in oil. I did like the texture of the noodles, but unfortunately it was overshadowed by the oiliness of the broth it was sitting in. It's really sad to see this place fall short since it opened a couple years ago. I'm hoping that they can improve their quality of food as it's really gone downhill since opening.

Be prepared to hunt for the place if you've never been to the shopping center, which is quite close to Route 7. We were here around 4 p.m. on a Saturday. At that time of day, there was one occupied table. Ordering food means going to the counter and giving your order to the person working there, and then paying. They have a menu on the wall, but the woman working there told us to look at the paper menu. Apparently, the menu on the wall is constantly changing. Before coming, we decided to order Mongolian beef, ma po tofu, and two small bowls of hot and sour soup. At first, my husband couldn't find the Mongolian beef on the menu. I took a look and found it is listed under the chef's specials. We gave our order and also got a can of ginger ale from the refrigerated chest. After paying, we chose a four top table for ourselves. The food came out quickly! First, the hot and sour soup came. It was served hot and did have some kick to it. We both enjoyed it. It does have quite a few button mushrooms in it, which I gave to my husband. Just as we were finishing the soup, both our entrees arrived. We both liked the Mongolian beef (which also had an abundance of button mushrooms). The sauce was tasty, and the beef was tender. As for the ma po tofu, we thought it was okay but could have been better. It's a meat-free entree that basically has large pieces of tofu, a lot of thin, spicy sauce, and bits of green onions. We each were given generous portions of white rice. We would consider visiting again in the future, as the service was excellent. As for ambiance, it has a carry-out place feel. We were seated immediately and were given water. My husband ordered a Shirley Temple ($3.50), while I ordered oolong tea. I was pleasantly surprised that it arrived in a tea pot (also 90s aesthetic) for $3! I easily got 3-4 cups of tea out of it. The oolong tea was perfectly steeped and warm enough to drink immediately. For food, we ordered sesame chicken, pork lo mein, and chose fried rice instead of steamed rice for the sesame chicken. Sesame chicken ($16)- the flavor was on point, but it wasn't as crispy as I like. Maybe there was too much sauce and it was originally more crispy Pork lo mein ($11) - I was hoping that it would arrive with red pork (char siu) and it did indeed!!!! The noodles weren't too oily and the char siu was roasted nicely, albeit dry in some pieces Side of fried rice - now, this is where it took a turn. It was hard from either not being cooked enough or from sitting out. We didn't enjoy this at all. Overall, we enjoyed the food and would come again for it as it's cheaper than most places around here. I also liked that you could pay right away with the electronic tablet they have.
