A quiet little place in Grayson area. Stepped inside to a quiet ambiance. My server was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the special. I noticed in the menu that I can have Cafe con leche. It's espresso with frothy milk. So goooooood. I ordered the waffle special and I can say it was delicious. Two eggs, two links, hash browns and waffles. This is a hidden gem, you don't see it From the highway but definitely worth it. We had the country fried steak and the eggs and bacon breakfast. All cooked just right. The service was extremely friendly and one of my things is my cup never went below half.. quirky I know but it definitely speaks volumes for how much they care about taking care of their customers. The interior is nice and roomy even as busy as it was when we visited. Good old fashion food and service... it's a keeper on my list. read more

For a place that serves pancakes, yous expect they would at least make that specific item well...... Well, they didn't. The pancakes were dry crumbly and over cooked (or left under a heat lamp for hours). The wait was long with no seating. The dining area was dated and worn (not always a bad thing for a restaurant but it didn't do them favors here). The staff was friendly and attentive which is one reason this isn't a 1 star review. The meats were great with the exception of the bacon which was limp and stringy. So if you go here at all, the eggs, sausage, ham, and hashbrowns are pretty good. It is the pancakes and waffles that really let us down. If they up their game with the signature foods. I can see giving them another chance. read more

Yes, I know it's a Pancake House and they do have incredible pancakes and my fave the mushroom spinach omelette; but today I ordered the Dijon Chicken Salad and it was SO good. With a nice iced tea, this was the absolute perfect Summer lunch. I had a cup of coffee with the Little Pig omelette and a side of bacon. The definition of a side of bacon here is 2 slices. I didn't ask so shame on the fat man. The omelette had too much meat product in it. If I owned the business I'd cut the content of meat in half. Keep the types but just not the quantity. There could be other fat men ready to fight but you lose any sense of the omelette. The omelette comes with a side of three buttermilk pancakes. I found the lacking in flavor. I found my new breakfast spot! Move over Waffle House! My party was seated fairly quickly, service was extremely fast, food met expectations! The icing on the cake - it's 5 minutes from home! I'm so glad to find a breakfast option that didn't require a long drive and even longer wait. The ambiance was surprisingly calm. Most places have loud music and a busy vibe, I'm hoping it wasn't just because the sound was broken because I liked the quiet especially in the morning. Our server was professional and friendly. We found this place which is only 10 minutes from my house 20 minutes. From my son, he lives in Duluth, Georgia. The food was really good. I was pleasantly surprised the flavor was nice. And it was seasoned to a T. I had the grits sausage, which were turkey, sausage it's nice to have that option, although I do eat pork sometimes. Sitting by the door wasn't a problem but propping the door open for some unknown reason was. We were so cold not to mention the smoke from smokers outside didn't make our food enjoyable. I once again found myself searching for pancakes, and I am glad this restaurant was nearby. I came on a Wednesday at about 12:00, and they were not too busy. We had a wonderful server named Miguel, he was so friendly and quick with his service. I was impressed with their menu, and it somewhat resembled many of IHOP's items. For my meal I got two full stacks of buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes were on the smaller side, but were some of the fluffiest and delightful cakes I have had. My dad got a chorizo omelette with chocolate chip pancakes, and he let me try both. The omelette was spicy and very flavorful, and the pancakes were well infused with chocolate. Overall it was a great meal with excellent service and competitive pricing. I will return to this location, and perhaps try their Lawrenceville restaurant. read more

My first time coming and it did not disappoint!!!! I ordered the Grayson slam because I wanted to really try everything that they had. The pancakes were super fluffy and airy. My husband had the French toast and he cannot stop talking about how amazing it was. The only reason why we didn't give it a full 5 star was because my scrambled eggs were a little too wet for my liking and the sausage links were dry but all in all it was amazing. The Pancake House exceeded my expectations. It's a great place for breakfast lovers. The service was nice and the food was really good. I had the special, which was Banana Fosters French toast. My husband and I were referred by my daughter to go there for the best pancakes. We went and the service was good but the senior citizens even though a discount was given, they gave us (seniors) half a egg, half a portion of hash browns,etc. I felt like a half of a person....a baby would have not been full with that meal...and it was not hot. I told the server that I have gotten senior menu options at IHOP and other breakfast establishments and gotten the same portion sizes as others...but received a discount. Most seating was blocked off. The menu is limited with items I've ordered for years not available to be prepared the same way. The low top that was not blocked off had employee food and personal items across it. One employee had left their nasty work shoes at the end of the seating area. The blueberry pancakes were okay. But the strawberries was actually a strawberry compote, not actual strawberries. So now I have strawberry compote and blueberry compote (which came with blueberry pancakes) and no strawberries! The people who came in behind us made a point of telling the wait staff that we were ahead of them to get seated.
