    Bacon, egg and cheese biscuit
    Kristal L.

Pulling up to Little Barn, the line was around the restaurant. I arrived a little after 9 AM. I decided to go through the drive-through to order instead of going inside. I ordered a bacon biscuit with egg and cheese (bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit) and because I heard the cinnamon rolls were delicious, I decided to grab one of those as well. So, my biscuit wasn't that great. It was pretty dry and my biscuit was super well cooked. Usually crispy baking is ideal, but this was a little too crispy for my liking. The start of the show was definitely the cinnamon roll. It was gooey, soft and pillowy. It was still warm when I opened it and it smelled like cinnamon heaven. I would literally just only go back there to get another cinnamon roll.

Little Barn Biscuits and Barbecue in Lawrenceville, GA has been around for 32 years, and after stopping by with my wife, I can see why they've been around so long! Jenny, who's been working there most of those years, was super kind and welcoming -- you can tell she really cares about the place and the customers. We tried a little bit of everything: Biscuits and Gravy - My wife ordered it. Solid although I'm not a biscuits and gravy guy. French Toast Sticks - Soft, tasty, perfectly fried, and perfect for breakfast. Chicken, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit - The biscuit was crispy outside, fluffy inside, held up great, and the layers of chicken, egg, and cheese were just right. One of the best biscuits I've had in a while! Grilled Cheese with Philly Steak and Mayo - Jenny recommended this one, and I'm so glad she did. The Philly steak with melted cheese and mayo on Texas toast was surprisingly delicious. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. Great food, great people, and a true local gem. Thanks again, Jenny, for the amazing service and recommendation!

I pass this place often and finally decided to try. The biscuit was beautiful and hot and fresh. The gravy and the chicken needed some flavor to it. Very bland. It just lacked seasoning in my opinion. It was prepared very well and I appreciate that. I wouldn't get it again. I'd try a sausage biscuit though next time. Cinnamon roll was pretty good definitely does not taste store bought which is good!

I don't get there often enough but the staff is always super friendly and you won't find better biscuits. The prices are good and I'm ashamed to say that I have never tried the bbq but I hear it's fantastic too.

Service was mediocre at best.. the biscuit I ordered was extremely dry, almost impossible to eat.. even with jelly. The bacon on my biscuit tasted old and had an odd taste to it. I ordered an orange juice as well and received an "orange-ish" juice. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately though they had upcoming reservations so we weren't able to sit in the main room. We sat in their second dining room which was off to the side but still decorated. Our service was still good and the waiter was very attentive. For apps, we got the She Crab soup. I would've preferred for the crab meat to be sprinkled on top vs. in the soup but nonetheless it was still delicious. Super fresh!! Omg. I even contemplated on switching my entree to the stuffed grouper to get some more crab meat. I ended up getting the Shrimp scampi which was a great choice. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint with the shrimp. 6 jumbo pieces. Omg. The entree was done pretty well and it was just the right portion size. If we had more time, I would've ordered their toffee bread pudding or the honey crème brulee but that's all the more reason to come back. Oh and order the It was all a dream cocktail. It tastes like vanilla. Done to perfection.

Our server Crystal came over immediately and greeted us. I've been to the Smyrna and Midtown locations so I knew what I wanted. I ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls with ranch. My friend and I enjoyed them. They were hot and fresh and the perfect balance of spicy and savory. For our entrees my friend ordered a patty melt and I ordered the chicken nachos. His patty melt honestly didn't look that appealing to me. He ate it but it didn't give patty melt vibes. The burger looked dry and the toast wasn't buttery at all. My nachos however were Delicious! I could honestly say the grilled chicken nachos were the best I've had this year. The flavors were all there. Even a few hours later when I reheated my leftovers the nachos were still good. For dessert I ordered the brownie sundae. I normally order brownies wherever I go if they serve them. This was one of my least favorite. Our server said it's served warm but I couldn't tell. The top layer is very hard and crunchy but under is gooey and smooth. I barely got a full scoop of ice cream. More like a sliver of ice cream. Whoever they get the brownies from they should prob find a new vendor. Overall we had a good visit and I would def return for some of my favs.

From the moment my daughter her friend and I walked in, we were treated like we were a burden instead of paying customers. The attitudes from the employees were rude, cold, and completely unwelcoming. Nobody seemed happy to help, and the entire atmosphere felt miserable. After waiting 10-15 minutes for our food to be "freshly cooked," I expected at least hot food. Instead, I was handed a turkey burger that was barely lukewarm and french fries that were cold, limp, and already wrinkling like they had been sitting forever. To make it worse, the fries looked like nothing but the tiny leftover scraps from the bottom of the potato bag. It honestly felt like they just threw together whatever they didn't want to serve anyone else. We sent the fries back, and when they brought them out again, they were only slightly warmer than before -- still not hot like fries should be straight out of the fryer. What's even crazier is that the manager brought the food back to the table and STILL never apologized. No concern, no accountability, nothing. That alone says everything about the customer service at this place. Whatever happened to quality food and decent customer service? Customers are paying hard-earned money and deserve hot food and respectful treatment -- not cold leftovers, terrible attitudes, and management that acts like it doesn't care. Extremely disappointing experience, and I will definitely think twice before ever coming back.

One reason was bc it wasn't a smash patty but 1/4 beef patty cooked medium so it was very juicy and flavorful! The smoked gouda, grilled onions and jalapeños just all went together so very well. Only thing that could've made it better was if it was on a croissant ! We also got there during happy hour so we shared a plate of loaded fries for $6 which seemed a little pricey considering the amount of frozen fries you got BUT they were loaded with bacon. The jalapeños would've been better on them either pickled or candied instead of straight raw. That change would've distracted from the frozen fries. So the Burger definitely gets 5 stars as did our server who was FANTASTIC but the fried get 3 stars so settling at 4 stars over all. The place was hopping bc it was such a beautiful day so their patio was full yet it was nice seeing the children playing and it wasn't overly loud.
