I got on Yelp to find places like this, so I'm happy to help someone else find this gem.
I was on a quest to find Pan de Muertos for my students for Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and I had to do some online searching until I found this place. The bakery is all decked out and decorated right now for Día de los Muertos. Even if their bread wasn't delicious, it would be worth the trip just to see the bakery. No worries though, the bread is great! If you have never been here or somewhere like this, I would suggest trying a little of everything, why not? The prices are great and everything I have tried is delicious.
I was expecting to just be walking into a bakery, but this place is actually inside of a bigger grocery store with a butcher in the back. I think one of the things that impressed me the most was the altar they have made for Día de los Muertos. Also, right when you walk in there are a bunch of sugar skulls in all sizes that are decorated and beautiful. I wish I would have taken more pictures, but I didn't want to be that crazy person.
I hope this review will help someone else that is looking for a place like this. I love supporting small businesses like this and I think they deserve us Yelpers representing. read more
