Sweet bread display
Gabby A.

I was in Yelp recently and people had some good stuff to say about this place. Obviously I had to come and try it out. I already have a place in Pomona that I love, but this is local. I arrived and a very nice lady greeted and was very helpful with our church questions. Note this place a very small inside. They were out of tamales and it was about mid day on Sunday. I got a variety of their breads to try them out and I was so excited to see they a a selection of mini bread. I'm sad to have to give them three stars only. They bread was not a hit at home. We were not impressed with the flavor. For most of the concha's the topping was falling apart . The champurado was good, but it was on the light side. I also had the cafe de olla. Believe me I say this is not cafe de olla. I've been searching for the perfect cafe de olla in the area and no luck. Let me know if you know of a place.

Little hole in the wall bakery with fresh baked bread and great champurrado. Selection for traditional Mexican pan Dulce is great. They have everything from cocos, marranitos, chonchas, elotes, cuernos, mil hijas, etc everything is baked fresh daily. Come in early for tamales because they sell out quick. You are basically in and out of here quick. Lots of parking No indoor/outdoor seating

Sweet bread and muffins. Yum

I have never been to a place like this, what a show! You pick what you want and they cook it in…read morefront of you. You decide what meats&veggies and how spicy you want it. I love the fact that this place has so many healthy choices. You start off with paying for a bowl and drink $7 and you scoot your tray aside an assortment of thin frozen meats: beef, chicken, pork, turkey. Pick up the tongs and try to fill as much as you can then smash it down into your bowl when staff is not looking. Next, you have an array of veggies to choose from: carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, green onions, cilantro, tofu, broccoli, celery, water chestnuts. Then you give your plate to the staff and they throw their concoction together (lemon juice, garlic juice) and ask how spicy you want your meal. Lastly, they throw your meal atop a huge round stove (think benihana) and add fat yellow noodles, they turn it with gigantic chopsticks . Once it's done, they put it in a Styrofoam box for you to enjoy. Try it with sesame seeds, YUM! My only complaint is it's like Taco Bell food, you get hungry after an hr.

Went here for a quick dinner. Veggies looked old and brown, but since I was hungry I figured the…read morestir fry would cover that up. The cook immediately filled my bowl with spices of his own choosing. I told him I didn't want what he put in and asked why he didn't wait for me to indicate which sauces I wanted. He got real mad and tossed the bowl across the grill, put his hands on his hips and asked me what I wanted then. Why offer customers choices if you disregard this and do what you want? I did not deserve to be spoken to like this. I refused to have him make my food and went back to the cashier for a refund. She claimed she made the refund, but lied. I checked my bank five days later and was told they double charged me and never refunded me at all. I ended up having to fight with them through my bank. Totally not worth the aggravation. NEVER eat at a place that charges you before you get your food.
