Mercedes was fantastic with my 6-year-old, who came in with a very specific vision (blue lightning bolts, blue bangs, light blue on top). She took the time to bleach his hair twice when the first round was bothering him, making sure he was comfortable throughout the process rather than rushing through it. The result was exactly what he'd been hoping for - he hasn't stopped admiring himself since. AVOID THIS PLACE AND DO NOT BUY THE GROUPON. This place is a scam. I went with my friend to color her hair and I was shocked. We only came here because of the reviews now I know to AVOID because of it. It seemed too good to be true especially in the bay. The only reason they have high reviews is because the reviews are forced so do NOT look at the reviews, they made her write a forced review right in front of my eyes which is why I'm writing this review. I don't want anyone to be conned by this. if you want to get an idea of their service you have to visit them. And honestly they are very meh, her hair seemed dry right after, although the color was nice and she liked it. But there are plenty of REALLY good hair stylists. Also their knowledge on hair is pretty general and they won't give you good hair advice I have no IDEA what these reviews are talking bout. They aren't good at working with different hair types. Also dont buy Groupon from them they will find a way to get their money because it takes a percentage so they will make u some how pay the difference through products and extra steps. Mind you the Groupon was 200+ she ended up leaving the salon paying over 500+, get your moneys worth and go to a salon that's actually worth it. Don't go here. read more
