Came by because one of their cookies made it to that NY Times article talking about five show-stopping cookies in the city. The cookie utilizes white and black sesame and is definitely an outlier in terms of not your normal cookie. It has a nice texture, mostly crumbly and is earthy, nutty and not too sweet. I think you'll really like that cookie if those are things you look for, but there is a wide variety in what one considers a favorable cookie; many people for example may find this not sweet enough, or soft enough. However, for a bakery that is doubling as a wine bar in the night, their baked goods proved to be better than one would expect given this fact. The iced cappuccino was just what I needed too. I stopped by on a weekend mid-day and it wasn't too crowded, with a few people working on their laptops. There's a few tables outside too. Would def come back to try more of their things, as well as their wine bar service.

The name Pan Pan brings to mind the famous bar Pam Pam of Juan-Les-Pins, but it is actually the Vino Vino portion of the name which denotes the adult beverages purveyed here in the evening. This really is one of the most pleasant wine bars I've been to in North Brooklyn in ages. I tried the oyster mushrooms with cashew crema along with a glass of rose - a perfect pre-dinner snack.

Friendly staff, outdoor seating, and delicious baked goods. This morning I met a friend for a latte at Pan Pan in Greenpoint - it's a very cute cafe, and we chose to sit outside. I normally don't go for sweets in the morning, but I couldn't say 'no' to their sesame chocolate chip cookie. All the baked goods looked good, but one employee recommended the cookie. I took it to-go, no regrets!

Hours are never accurate! Tried to come twice and both times they weren't open with no notice! Won't be coming back a third time.

The Highlights: * Polpo (Octopus): This was the standout for me. The octopus was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of saltiness and it paired beautifully with the creamy potatoes underneath. A very well-balanced dish. * Salad: Sometimes simple is best. The greens were incredibly fresh and the dressing was light and balanced--not overpowering at all. * Classic Tomato Spaghetti: You can always judge an Italian place by its red sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, staying true to the traditional Italian style. It was simple, fresh and deeply satisfying. * Chicken Dish: The chicken was surprisingly tender and juicy. It's often a basic choice but they executed it perfectly here. Overall: Naked Dog offers a cozy atmosphere with food that feels both elevated and comforting. Whether you're a fan of seafood or classic pasta, you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be coming back!

Plush couches, small high top tables with bankers lights, and a few long coffee tables makes this place ideal for work or socializing. Bouquet is a small business that hasn't promoted much on Instagram or Eater, so it seems to have gone under the radar. I'm hoping I can do it justice as the first reviewer on this platform. We stumbled upon Bouquet during a mini bar crawl in Greenpoint. We initially planned to hit a few spots, but ended up settling in here for most of the night. We were mostly served by Eric who I believe was the owner operator. He's a NYC native who is super passionate about wine. The wine bar focuses on natural wines and other wines which emphasize minimal additives. The goal here seems to be to sell from producers who try to capture magic in a bottle. The wine list is three pages, so it's long but still approachable. There are about ten wines available by the glass. I started with a Montelpuciano. I sampled a bit and found it to be gassy and funky. The bartender was receptive to my feedback and made another recommendation - a different wine from the Loire Valley. The second option was more of what I was looking for. It was a more structured wine with a more traditional palate. I decided to eventually circle back to the Montelpuciano for my second glass. I'm stubborn and like to give a different flavors a chance to grow on me. I'm a person who doesn't like blue cheese but continually tries it just to make sure. The aroma of this wine was minerally. The best description I have is an Iron adjacent smell. Almost like blood but not the same. The flavor was earthy and rooty. It was the best part of the wine. It had a short finish. I'm no wine expert, but I can tell I was tasting something special. The last time I had wine like this was at a wine making competition. I also tried some of the wine on draft. It was an easy going wine that you could easily have a few of. We didn't have any food, but it seemed like the signature of the menu was their smash burgers. They also had some small bites like fries, cheese, olives, charcuterie, and salads. The other big items were schnitzel and the Rigatoni Alla Vino. The operator said the Rigatoni was an ode to a dish from Don Peppe's - a locals' favorite Italian restaurant in Queens. The space is welcoming. It part of the new wave of wine bars that aren't stuffy. It's about trying fun and experimental wines. Young stuff. Not necessarily hawking out for carefully aged vintages. It's fun and the team is very hospitable. Music is what I'd expect from a Queens local. Lots of 90s and 2000s hip hop. Playlist was filled with A Tribe Called Quest, Talib Kweli, and Common. They have some big speakers and turntables for vinyl records. They had a new record from Future which I suppose is something to boost for audiophiles. Acoustics here were as good as any listening lounge that we've been to in NYC. Entertainment wise, they have some board games behind the bar. No TVs inside the bar, but they have a projector in the backyard which can be used for special events. Two gender neutral restrooms. The one I used was handicap accessible. There is a step to enter the establishment, but they have a button to press in order to request assistance with entry. Good luck to Bouquet! They'll certainly be my go to for wine in Greenpoint.
