We finally gave this place a try! It's always sos incredibly busy so we did do takeout and it did not disappoint. Absolutely a comparable and local din tai fung!!! The portions were perfect, the food was so flavorful! My personal favorite was the honey walnut shrimp, the green beans, the xiao long bao and the fried shrimp and pork dumplings!!! SO YUMMY!! it was (expectedly) pretty busy on a friday night around 7, the wait for 2 was around 10-15 mins. a little difficult to find parking since it's in a pretty busy plaza but the food comes out fairly quickly once you order. they also offer indoor and outdoor seating. beef roll (5/5) - this was one of the best beef rolls i've had. the pancake was crispy, the beef was tender and not fatty, there was a good amount of cilantro and green onion. it was also a good size for the price. scallion pancake (3/5) - standard but good to snack on! not very many scallions though. chicken & corn dumplings (4/5) - got these pan fried and they were so good! the bottom was crispy and the dumpling was juicy and soft. i just wish the dumpling skin was a little thinner! spicy beef noodle soup (4/5) - boyfriend got this and said it was one of the better ones he's had. good flavor and very tender beef. overall super yummy! their chili oil is also soo good, it has a good spice level while still being flavorful. i'll definitely be back to try more!! read more

Given the name, I was ready to write this off as another dumplings only place serving overpriced dumpling. While it does have overpriced dumplings, it's definitely got a fuller menu than that and is an authentic Chinese restaurant. The place specializes in dumplings and noodles so we had to have one of each. The spicy beef noodle was honestly just ok, and I wouldn't get it again. The handmade xiaolongbao (you can watch them make it) were quite tasty although not the prettiest. The green beans were made with preserved soy beans instead of minced pork but tasty and a big portion. The Chinese hamburger was a decent size and flavorful. The best part of the meal was definitely the beef roll which was bigger than most I've ordered and very tasty. The best part is that the service was actually decent and the setting modern with both indoor and outdoor seating, a nice change from many authentic Chinese restaurants but I guess they've figured out this is what they should do if they charge higher prices. read more

We saw a couple videos on tiktok and decided to give this place a try as many people liked their xiao long baos. The xiao long baos were extremely flavorful and juicy, but unfortunately the wrapping was a bit too thick. The juicy pork buns were disappointing, but the beef scallion pancakes were nice and crispy. Our favorite dish was the spicy chili wontons. The wonton filling was absolutely delicious and the chili seasoning was the right balance between slightly vinegary and salty. The staff was kind and accommodating as they consistently made rounds. The restaurant was bright and clean as we came in when they first opened. We'd love to come back and try more things on their menu as everything looked delicious. read more

We came for the first time here for our daughter birthday, she wanted dumplings but the fancy place she wanted was too far lol. So we ate here. We got fried rice, noodles, green beans and dumplings! I wish this restaurant was close to home! That's how good it is! Everything was delicious, flawless in terms of taste. We went for Father's Day, so I didn't take pictures. We had every dish imaginable. We had dumplings, fried rice, noodles, vegetables, every single item was delicious. I wish I could have them everyday. We left very full and very satisfied. The employees were friendly, they came to support us at the right times. I only had water as soft drinks were not available for free refills.They did have other specialty drinks, our nieces partook and they liked them. We were able to make reservations so that was nice. Visited on a Thursday and despite being very busy the service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and the food was delicious. I tried the beef chow mein, mongolian beef and xiao long bao. The beef was extremely tender the noodles were soft and the xiao long bao were perfectly soupy! I definitely recommend dining here. Only complaint is the food comes out at different times so one dish might get cold while you wait for the next but that only shows everything is cooked to order and varying cooking times are normal. read more

What can I say about this place that hasn't been said yet. It's so good. Best Dumplings in Norco/corina area hands down. The handful noodles are delicious and tender. I take so many people here just for their birthdays because it never disappoints. I practically tried everything on the menu and I can see you won't be disappointed with most items as long as you're into that flavor profile the inside is super clean. We tried this place on a bustling Sunday night and they were jumping. I think we had a 25 min wait which wasn't terrible considering how many people were waiting. Once we actually got seated service was quick and our food came out fast. We ordered XLB, dry braised green beans, wontons in spicy sauce, chicken fried rice, and beef rolls. The star of the show was the fried rice. It was so good and I am such a fried rice snob that we usually never order it because it's never made right. Wow!! What an awesome place! We happened upon this place because we were in the area. Even though we were one of the last guests served, all of the food was fresh, especially the noodles. The xiao long bao was pretty good, but I wish there was more broth. The star of the show was the chili oil dumplings. Rated a 4 instead of 5 star was that they were seating at least three parties ahead of us. They could have put two of the 4 seater tables together instead of seating two couples. read more

Seems to be a popular spot. When we arrived at 11:08a, the plane was almost half full. By the time we left about 45 minutes later, there was a waiting line... hand made dumplings made fresh and in front of you (if you go up to the window) by two ladies that you can tell are very skilled in their Dumpling wrapper rolling and pinching... The dumplings were flavorful, steamed hot , you can also ask for them boiled or pan fried ($1 extra)... And the Tonkatsu Ramen was flavorful as well... My only gripe is that they don't seem the dumplings to go so you can cook them at home! But they say it's all the two ladies can do to keep up with the dine in customers - maybe someday! Genuinely the best dumplings I have ever had. We love the soup dumplings and I always really enjoy the shrimp and pork dumplings in the spicy oil. You can watch the workers hand pulling the noodles which you can definitely taste in the quality when they reach your table. We have also gotten the fried rice which is very good. Haven't tried any of the chicken or beef dishes but I would assume they're excellent as well. Come for lunch if you can because the line can get very bad at certain times. read more

Like a moth to a flame, I was drawn to this place from various social media feeds. The parking was completely horrible. You will have to circle many times if you want a close spot or you can admit defeat and go park closer to Stater Brothers and walk over. When you walk in it's a seat yourself kind of scenario, and while there's plenty of seating it seems like this place is always packed as well. We were given menus, plates, chopsticks, and cups upon seating. A young man came around and filled up our water glasses before we even ordered and then eventually left a pitcher of water at the table for us as well. We ordered: Hot green tea - This was a magical teapot, there were three of us, and I think we each drank 4 to 5 cups of tea from this thing - it never ended. Pork Belly Buns- 2 in an order. Very yummy with soft bun, slightly crispy pork belly, thin cut red onion, and a nice sauce. Bun size was 3-4 bites each. Beef fried rice: can't go wrong with fried rice , thin shaved beef bits in as well made for some good protein. Szechuan eggplant - soooo plentiful. I love eggplant and this hit the spot. I could have made a meal of it. Won ton in chili oil - had about 8 dumplings and some type of pork mixture inside? Delicious. My husband also ordered two portions of steamed with rice ($1 each!) to go with and he loved the chili oil sauce so much he wanted to dump what remained on the rice. This place has been on my must try place for a few months now and now that the weather is getting cooler it seemed like the perfect place to go to . When we arrived we got seated pretty quickly . I got the Mongolian steak , the veggie eggrolls , the beef onion roll and the strawberry green ice tea . The food came out pretty quickly and they brought out one dish at a time . With that said, Pan Dumpling House is the best Asian/Chinese restaurant this side of town. Absolutely delicious. This has got to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in the IE, if not the best. Authentic Chinese food is so hard to come by so this is basically a gem. We arrived on a Friday night and this place was packed. We just waited for 15 min to get a seat. There were so many things we wanted to try. Definite order the beef roll and any of the dumplings. We also got the liang pi which is a traditional xian noodle dish that's perfect for a hot day. I don't think it's fair to compare to din tai fung, since this place is more of a neighborhood joint. However, everything came out super hot and super tasty. The portion sizes were also huge. The service was great. All of the staff were working hard to get food out. They also provided special dumpling sauce for us. This place was also pretty clean and well maintained. Definitely would want to be back! read more

The food here is great, and Pan's has become my go-to spot for comfort food. It's close to home, so I don't have to travel miles just to get a good meal, which is a huge bonus. A quick note on timing: Pan's is popular, and it shows. You pretty much need to arrive before 11:15 a.m. or come after 2 p.m. if you want easy seating. Otherwise, the wait can range anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, depending on your party size. My favorite item is the beef wrap--it's the one thing I consistently order every time I visit.
