Cheap and fast but mediocre. I ordered the sesame chicken combo for about $8. The chicken was fine, but the rice (even with pork bits) tasted unpleasantly sterile and the broccoli did not seem fresh. My egg roll was unremarkable and inoffensive. I've been looking for a great Chinese place in this area ever since the Peking Duck Inn closed. I guess I'm still looking. read more

First time visiting this place. My son wants some orange chicken and when I checked the menu they have it in the lunch menu which is awesome. The place was not that very nice, it was dark and not very entertaining for customers to go and eat in. The taste of food is okay, I'm not gonna say its bad but its fair like other Chinese fast resto. The only reason I gave 4 stars was the customer service. I requested a general tso chicken with separate sauce (i know im weird) but that's how I like it all the time. The cook forgot the sauce to put inside the bag. I live like 15 minutes away and the guy took his time to deliver to me the sauce with a big smile, and I appreciate that so much. Thank you for you time. read more

A great family-owned Chinese take-out restaurant. Not much to comment on, as most Chinese take-out places are carbon copies of each other, all the way down to that standardized menu. There really isn't much to say about this location beside the fact that it is a reliable location that produces tasty food. The first time I came here, it was for their Grand Opening wings deal (most that know me, know wings are my weakness). Though their wings cannot shake a stick to places that specialize in them, the wings were pretty good (disclaimer: if the price is good, food tastiness miraculously increases). since my initial wing fix, I've tried all of their fried rice combos and a couple of their dinner combinations. I especially like their Beef and Broccoli dinner combo that comes with rice and an egg roll. This location has minimal seating, so the focus like many similar establishments is for take-out. So with that being said, don't expect to be wowed or amazed by the decor and enjoy the 1970s styled chairs in the waiting area for the short period of time it takes them to hand you your meal. read more

Small lil Chinese food joint down the road had to try a new spot and this was it. Friendly and fast service food was great and found out they deliver so will be trying that next time but ordered the dragon and phoenix with a house fried rice an order of chicken teriyaki on a stick which was big pieces of chicken then an order of wings and fried rice.... good eats read more

Solid 3 stars. I love they have online ordering because I dislike having to call my orders in espically to Chinese food places bc they always seem to be in a rush to get me the phone. We ordered general tso chicken and crab ragoons and egg drop soup and pork fried rice. All was pretty standard and yummy. The crab ragoons were probably my favorite and they had a lot of filling inside. Some times when you order them they tend to be flat and skimply made but not from here. Crab and cream cheese galore! Food arrived in about 30 minutes hot and fresh and perfect for what I wanted on a lazy Sunday afternoon. read more

Took a chance after being disappointed by local Asian restaurants in this area. (Timberlake Shopping Ctr/S.Independence Blvd/Town Center). At PANDA CHINA we ordered the bourbon chicken w/steamed rice; Beef Lo Mein w/shrimp fried rice. Food was excellent, fresh and delivery prompt. Plus we had leftovers to the next day. I've enjoyed at least two dishes from this establishment. The moo goo gai pan and the house egg foo young were great! In fact this may be the only place I get egg foo young from now on. However the sausage, rice, and gravy was garbage...they tried to pass a hot dog off as a sausage. Also the egg rolls can be greasy. The first time I tried the egg rolls they were way too greasy and you could tell they didn't allow enough time to drain the excess oil off after pulling them out of the fryer. The second time around they were better. My kid liked the chicken and broccoli and I must say it looked good. The lo mein isn't bad either. read more

This is my favorite Chinese spot so far out of Hampton Roads. The food always is hot and fresh plus very fast service. I ordered a pretty large amount of food twice now and both times the order was 100% accurate and fresh. I really wish i could give more than 2 stars.. the employees and delivery drivers are always so nice and friendly, and never make me feel like their rushing me, but the food is very bland. Last night I got veggie pancit, sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein and shrimp dumplings, everything except the lo mein was just so bland. This is the only Chinese food restaurant that i know of in my area and i always order from here(maybe once every two months) and every time its bland and I end up just adding my own seasonings. After receiving an order where everything was wrong, I left a negative review on here. The owner called me the next day and offered to give me my next order for free if I was willing to give them another chance. Tonight I decided to give them a second chance except when I talked to the manager, he accused me of lying and saying I had already gotten a free order, that I ordered fifty dollars worth if food and was only charged seven dollars and then told me I was rude and trying to fool him. I have never once ordered fifty dollars worth of food and after this experience I won't be ordering from them again. These people are so rude! Shocked at how good the cuisine is here in a hole-in-the-wall strip mall location! The wanton soup is made with a delicious duck broth. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. So they totally messed up our last order but after a bad yelp review the manager contacted us and said our next meal was on the house. After a few weeks she decided to take them up on their offer for a simple dinner and the manger states that we cannot because we already used it. He was rude and unprofessional to say the least. I was willing to give them another try but after that I will never eat there again. I will also make sure that nobody I knows ever eats there either. I'm always sketchy about ordering from panda China but my roommate orders frequently so I thought I would try it. First of all I was very disappointed when my order didn't come with rice. I've never known a Chinese food place to not include rice with their entrees. Or to at least clearly state that it won't come with it. (Which it's not stated in the menu.) I'm from the west coast so I'm new to the east coast way of experiencing ethnic food (and boy has it been an experience.) Secondly, it's also outrageous to me that chopsticks aren't included in all orders. Pretty irrational since chopsticks and rice don't cost much at all... and they are staples in Chinese dishes.
