She said, "no problem, we are very flexible, we are trying to grow this location, and I do not have any other dogs today." I texted about 40 minutes prior to let them know I was on my way to pick up and never heard back. I show up at 5:15 to pick up and my dog is still on the table getting groomed. Amber said "she has been doing farm chores with me all day, playing with the horses, and got really muddy, we had so much fun" I did not give them permission to do that, and that could have been a huge liability. Our dog is an inside dog and is not used to doing things like that. I am sure she had fun but what if my she got kicked in the face or hurt? I went back at 6:30pm to pick up and still wasn't told she was done but let her know it was too late and we needed to leave. My dogs paw pad was bleeding pretty bad where she had cut her. I was trying to pay, and she couldn't find the iPad and just gave me her personal Venmo account to pay. I am not sure if the owner ever got my money? When we got home my dog was GULPING water and ended up throwing up within a few minutes because I am sure she hadn't been given any water all day. I was also not pleased with the cut at all, but that was the least of my worries. I called the next day and left a message for the owner to call me back to share my experience and to make sure she got her money. She never returned my call and that was about a month ago.

We went to a couple of places, one even where you can watch on an app that was closer to us, but when we went to visit the place, we did not like the "vibe" of the place. When we took a tour (just call, and they will let you take a look at the facility before hand) of Paws Landing, we immediately felt great! We had our puppy for an half day "evaluation" with Durenda, which also made us feel at ease. She is marvelous!!! When we picked her up from that, she went over everything she did, and how she thought our puppy would do. They had her in a small yard first and let our puppy feel safe before they had her with the other dogs. I really like too, how they have the dogs separated into "small dogs", " large dogs" and "very active dogs". She has a great team working with her, watching over them, and most importantly taking care of them all day. They will always send you a text and email to confirm your reservation, which is great. They go inside and outside to play all day. If they go "all day" they will get a 2-hour rest, so they get a break from all the fun! But, believe me, when you pick your dog, they will be tired when they get home, which is "good thing"! Pam will send you pictures later via text of your dog, which is great to see at the end of the day. Now, that my dog has gone for awhile, she gets excited when we get there, and she is excited to see Pam and her team when I drop her off. Look no further for a great place for "doggy day care", Pam and her team will take VERY GOOD care of them, like they were one of their own!!!

We love Betty!! I spent the first year of my dogs life grooming him myself...it was an ordeal every…read moretime. The process would take 3 hours and I'd split it into multiple days because neither him nor I could do a full 3 hour session at once. I said all that to say that I wish I would've gone to Betty sooner! I got my dog Beast in 2022 and for some reason it was really hard to find a groomer--no one was taking on new clients. I scheduled my appointment online with Wholesome Doodle, answered a few questions and uploaded a few pics of what I wanted Beast's cut to look like. I was able to get aN appointment fairly quickly. Upon meeting Betty, she felt around for mats and helped me come up with a mat that would be best for Beast. Unfortunately, we had to shave him down pretty low during his first grooming appointment, but that was no one's fault but my own. Things got In the way and I didn't brush him as regularly as I should've and many mats formed. Following the appointment she provided us with a folder with care and maintenance tips for his coat. Betty is highly experienced and will explain everything going into the appointment. She does great with Beast and I recommend her to everyone!

She is warm and friendly and our catizens are in her capable and loving hands. I asked for specifically what we wanted (ridiculously silly lion cuts) with the warning that both cats are blind so they need a good deal of physical and audible reassurance. It's always a huge concern with special need seniors that they get the gentle, custom care they require. They came back inside calm and the cuts clean, well shaped and less than we expected to pay. She was quick and friendly. Thank you guys for continuing the high level of care we had come to expect and providing Catbus and Mushu with their ridiculous (my request!) lion cuts. However, over the past year I've experienced repeated price increases for grooming two dogs under 20 pounds, totaling about $250 including tips. Each increase came with a different explanation--inflation, weekend pricing, or being busy--which felt excessive. At this point, it feels less about rising costs and more about the owner being greedy with pricing. This is disappointing because the groomers themselves do excellent work, but the constant increases have made it unaffordable for me. I can find other groomers who charge around $180 including tips on a Saturday. So long, good people of Mutz & Kutz.
