The grooming shop wanted a review: When you have an employee out and are short staffed, give people the option to reschedule their appointment. Sometimes the allotted time is the only opportunity in THEIR schedule to bring their pet in. It's wrong to mess with and inconvenience others just to make a buck. Up until this last grooming, we had been able to get the pup cleaned within 1-1 1/2hrs, and were never told your shop had a 3-4hr window to complete the grooming service. I also don't appreciate when I told the on groomer we drive in 40miles roundtrip, she told me others drive in from 1 1/2 hrs away; who cares, I'm not them, stop trying to justify bad behavior. Also, you could have told my daughter, that your shop was running behind and would require more time to complete the groom. But that didn't happen either. We could have chosen to alter our schedule some at that point or reschedule with you; but your staff chose not to disclose the information, denying us a choice in the matter. I'm disappointed in the conduct of staff at your shop. We were also lead to believe no service was performed yet, so we chose to pick her up early. And when we did pick up the dog early, you charged full price for an incomplete job. She had been bathed, but her nails and the brush out were not done. You could have discounted the wash by $10 for the inconvenience of the whole situation. My pup seemed to be very well treated, and was always happy to go get her bath at your shop. Really loved our experience here. A stray husky showed up on my door step--(we named him Shilo) he was full of fleas, sprayed by a skunk, had dried grass stickers all over his tail and was in really bad shape. Every groomer in the area that I called wouldn't take him because he was sprayed by a skunk but clip n dip not only took him with optimism but had availability same day that I called for an appointment. They not only got the skunk smell out, but removed all the stickers and fleas. He came out looking like a new dog, beautiful fluffy soft coat and was handled with so much love & care. What I appreciate the most is that when I communicated the situation about him being a stray, his story etc--the positivity, kindness and willingness to help was so great! Considering we needed a triple wash with special skunk shampoo, flea removal, nail trimming and removing of all the grass stickers--it was much more affordable than I thought. You can tell the groomers here truly care about animals, and after his visit she gave me the most detailed breakdown of how everything went. They could have hated me as a customer for stinking up their entire business but instead they were so kind and understanding! Hands down greatest experience at a groomers I've ever had, and I've been to many in all the years of having dogs. If shilo stays in our family. We will be back again, but if not would love to bring our family dog in just to be able to get the Royal treatment from these kind humans. read more

Overpriced and I was overcharged. I have a 7 month old goldendoodle that is just over 50lbs. Was charged for grooming an XL dog. If my dog is XL, what the heck is a mastiff?! Grooming is subpar. Got him home and I had to trim tthe hair in front of his eyes. Had to trim his chin too. These two areas, I specifically asked the young lady to cut. His chin hair / beard gets wet when he drinks his water. She acknowledged that she understood what i wanted. When i picked him up, she told me how good he did.I'll be honest, i didn't thoroughly look him over when i picked him up (he was too excited), but i should have! My Maltese (Lana) and I moved from California so needed to find a grooming place. I was worried because she's a very senior dog (16 years old) and is very stubborn. After much research, we decided on Clip-N-Dip and have been very pleased with their services! We've gone twice so far and they have provided us with good advice and I feel like they treat Lana like their own pet. Lana always looks so cute and she doesn't seem anxious when I pick her up. They did a nice job bathing my German Shepherd but terrible cutting my 3 little dogs and charged us for services we did not ask for, and they charge for services most groomers include in their fees. So today I tried a new groomer because it's closer to my parents home and we were picking up their dog to get groomed with our three. To be very honest, they look cute but no better than any other groomer. Kelly at Majestic is still the best. The price was outrageously expensive! $75 for a 4lb 8 month old, way high especially when they quoted me $53 then charged $75. $239 to groom 2 small dogs and a bath for the shepherd and no receipt to show what they did and charged for. (Was told bath, dry, comb out, nails, ears, anal glands. They said they cut nails but they are rough and asked if we wanted them smoothed, so ok... asked if we wanted to have a conditioner because their shampoo dries them out. Ok) They quoted us $53 for each of the 3 little ones and $45 for the shepherd, which was high but ended up increasing about $30 to $ 40 for each dog, for what? I have owned dogs my entire life, didn't have the shepherd, but instead had standard poodles. Never have I ever paid over $175 for all three of my dogs. Feel like we were taken advantage of, $314 to have 3 dogs under 10lbs groomed and a shepherd bathed. Very disappointed and won't be going back to Clip-N-Dip Grooming in Temple. read more
