We took our fur baby, Sassee to Temple Veterinary Hospital with severe hip dysplasia with last…read moreditch hopes she could be helped. We were so blessed with her being examined by Dr Tyler Cochran and he telling us he "could fix her" with a procedure he had successfully performed several times and at an extremely lesser cost than hip replacement. We immediately agreed to the surgery and Dr Cochran did the surgery that day. To no error on Dr Cochran's part, Sassee's femurs broke on both legs and Dr Cochran repaired them. Sassee spent several weeks in their hospital receiving ultimate care and attention from Dr Cochran and the entire staff. We were allowed to visit her anytime and for as long as we wanted. Sassee is now home recovering and doing PT. We cannot say enough great things about Dr Cochran and the entire staff at Temple Veterinary Hospital. God has truly blessed Dr Cochran, Dr Gosney, and the entire staff with the expertise in caring for and helping to heal His animals. Dr Cochran and Temple Veterinary Hospital will be the only ones treating Sassee or any of our future fur babies. He starts making these deep throaty growls that make him seem more like a "feral hog" than a pug. It's scary sometimes the sounds he makes. It took three trips to this venue to finally get him acclimated to the team. Dr. McJett and her team is so patient and supportive of our little maniac. She has recommended so many helpful tips to help us. Our Max had an ear infection and he would not put us treat him at home. After several attempts, Dr. McJett was able to pack it and allow the healing to begin. At least to a point where we could start home treatment. Other local vets were unsuccessful. I Love the fact that they will always give you a price estimate upfront, before they start the service. No surprises. No "Invoice Shock". Just honest upfront cost reports.
