    Happy boys!
    Christina H.

I discovered Luxury Paws after #snomageddon2021. My boys had started to look a bit like the Abominable Snowman during the snowstorm. Luxury Paws is a mobile grooming company that tbh, I have never heard of, but so glad I did! The site to book and register your pups is user-friendly and professionally made, however could use some work with management. I had to send Tania my pups information 3 times (I have two), and so it felt inefficient in this manner. In addition, even though we had to reschedule our appointments due to a personal issue, Tania was flexible and saw our boys a few days after. She adds a nice personal touch at the end of each grooming appointment, by adding cute bowties.

We will never go back to a brick and mortar groomer. We have a quarantine puppy and while he's gotten so much better over the last year, he doesn't like being away from home or around too many people at once. I also hate when we take him to a groomer and he's there for 4+ hours I'm sure just sitting in a cage. Ingrid (I hope I'm spelling that right!) arrived and immediately made us feel comfortable that she'd do a good job. He's a fluffy Bichon so some groomers really don't know how to cut him. He looks so cute now and seemed like he really liked Ingrid and wasn't stressed at all! We immediately booked our next appt

my dog was returned to me sout with blood on his chest! unprofessional

You can see where she shaved him to the skin and then unevenly left his head

I knew I needed to address this, but I was deathly afraid of traumatizing him. That's when I found FurReal groomers, less than 5 minutes away from my house. Aubrey was able to get me in right away. I dropped off my dog, and about 2 hours later she called me back to let him know that he was ready to be picked up. When I arrived back, Aubrey walked him out. He was sporting a bandana, a bowtie, and the most manicured paws I had seen on him since he had been anesthetized for his last teeth cleaning! She told me that he was not happy about having his nails clipped, but she still managed to get it done and was willing to work with him again in the future. The best part: even though I could tell he was not enthused about having had his feet messed with, he was not shaking or trembling. He had not been traumatized, so my biggest fear was avoided. For that, FurReal Groomers was worth every penny. If you have an anxious, stubborn dog, I truly believe they can work with you too. I will absolutely be patronizing this business again in the near future. Thank you!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! If I could give zero stars I would. I…read moredropped my dog off at 8am to be groomed by Amber. Told her I would be back around 5:15pm to pick up. She said, "no problem, we are very flexible, we are trying to grow this location, and I do not have any other dogs today." I texted about 40 minutes prior to let them know I was on my way to pick up and never heard back. I show up at 5:15 to pick up and my dog is still on the table getting groomed. Amber said "she has been doing farm chores with me all day, playing with the horses, and got really muddy, we had so much fun" I did not give them permission to do that, and that could have been a huge liability. Our dog is an inside dog and is not used to doing things like that. I am sure she had fun but what if my she got kicked in the face or hurt? I went back at 6:30pm to pick up and still wasn't told she was done but let her know it was too late and we needed to leave. My dogs paw pad was bleeding pretty bad where she had cut her. I was trying to pay, and she couldn't find the iPad and just gave me her personal Venmo account to pay. I am not sure if the owner ever got my money? When we got home my dog was GULPING water and ended up throwing up within a few minutes because I am sure she hadn't been given any water all day. I was also not pleased with the cut at all, but that was the least of my worries. I called the next day and left a message for the owner to call me back to share my experience and to make sure she got her money. She never returned my call and that was about a month ago.

If you're in need of a groomer or looking into boarding, you have to give Brandi a call. Five stars all the way!

Luna and Hush LOVE it here! It can be a bit dusty as it is dirt and mulch so be ready to get dirty! The first time we went their handler was amazing! I am not sure what happened yesterday (Sunday the 11th) but I didn't see a handler. There was a few humans that could have been directed by a handler; ex: leashes on dogs in the park and kids with dog treats. Luckily nothing big came from it but usually these things are big no no's at parks because it can cause some fights. Otherwise, Tailgate is amazing! We drive from South Austin to bring our kids and they are so happy to run and play and have their day! I will totally be going back and bringing any friend who I can wrangle!

Parking at Mutts was pretty smooth but it does look like it could be difficult on days or times where many owners decide to stop by. When entering there are a lot of security precautions in place ensuring that it would be VERY difficult for dogs to escape which is much appreciated. To get into the dog park itself you need to purchase a day pass which runs $14, there are other options like weekly, monthly, or even membership passes but as first timers we didn't want to commit too hard just yet. Ordering is pretty straightforward and the food options are simple, burgers and tenders and fries. They do also have a dog menu but it is very lacking for being a dog focused place, just two options for dogs and both involve peanut butter so in the case your dog is strange and doesn't like peanut butter then you're out of luck. There's a good amount of seating on the patio for food and the interior of the dog park also has a lot of seating and things for dogs as well like rocks, baths, and water bowls. They have a big screen out in the yard too so if you're into sports and would like to bring your dog somewhere to watch then this is a great option. Beware that you SHOULD NOT bring food into the yard, they don't explicitly say it but just know that is not a good idea. Overall, Mutts is an awesome place to bring a dog and just hang out and have them (or you) socialize. Consider stopping by with your dog when you have a chance!
