He…read moreis 6 years old, 47 lbs, and has always been absolutely defiant when it comes to even touching his paws. His nails were getting pretty long, and the hair between his toes had grown out. I knew I needed to address this, but I was deathly afraid of traumatizing him. That's when I found FurReal groomers, less than 5 minutes away from my house. Aubrey was able to get me in right away. I dropped off my dog, and about 2 hours later she called me back to let him know that he was ready to be picked up. When I arrived back, Aubrey walked him out. He was sporting a bandana, a bowtie, and the most manicured paws I had seen on him since he had been anesthetized for his last teeth cleaning! She told me that he was not happy about having his nails clipped, but she still managed to get it done and was willing to work with him again in the future. The best part: even though I could tell he was not enthused about having had his feet messed with, he was not shaking or trembling. He had not been traumatized, so my biggest fear was avoided. For that, FurReal Groomers was worth every penny. If you have an anxious, stubborn dog, I truly believe they can work with you too. I will absolutely be patronizing this business again in the near future. Thank you!

There are two things that make it worth the 40-minute round trip drive for me to bring my pets here…read moreinstead of a closer vet's office. The first is the pricing: they are very reasonable, especially in comparison to their competition. The same procedures at other vets, which I visited before finding Zoot, cost anywhere from $50 to $150 more. The second reason is their efficiency. I timed my most recent visit, in which I brought in a sick dog that needed an exam, shots, and a heart worm test. They had me in the exam room at the exact time my appointment was scheduled, the doctor immediately walked into the room, after the thorough exam the vet tech was instantly there to administer the shots and give the heart worm test, when I walked to the front desk the already had my bill ready to pay and the paperwork and prescription ready for me, and from the moment I walked into the building until the moment I was back in my car it took 17 minutes. And my dog is now back to 100% health. I have literally never had a more positive experience at a vet's office.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! If I could give zero stars I would. I…read moredropped my dog off at 8am to be groomed by Amber. Told her I would be back around 5:15pm to pick up. She said, "no problem, we are very flexible, we are trying to grow this location, and I do not have any other dogs today." I texted about 40 minutes prior to let them know I was on my way to pick up and never heard back. I show up at 5:15 to pick up and my dog is still on the table getting groomed. Amber said "she has been doing farm chores with me all day, playing with the horses, and got really muddy, we had so much fun" I did not give them permission to do that, and that could have been a huge liability. Our dog is an inside dog and is not used to doing things like that. I am sure she had fun but what if my she got kicked in the face or hurt? I went back at 6:30pm to pick up and still wasn't told she was done but let her know it was too late and we needed to leave. My dogs paw pad was bleeding pretty bad where she had cut her. I was trying to pay, and she couldn't find the iPad and just gave me her personal Venmo account to pay. I am not sure if the owner ever got my money? When we got home my dog was GULPING water and ended up throwing up within a few minutes because I am sure she hadn't been given any water all day. I was also not pleased with the cut at all, but that was the least of my worries. I called the next day and left a message for the owner to call me back to share my experience and to make sure she got her money. She never returned my call and that was about a month ago.

I have fretted and fretted over whether I should write this review, but then one of my daughters…read moresaid " the next dog that gets hurt is on you mom". I have 2 tiny 3 lb dogs that Brooke groomed several times. One of them will sit and let you do anything to her. While the other is completely horrible at the groomers. I admit this right off the top. Several times I asked Brooke if she wanted me to give her something to calm her, oh no, she said, no problem. Well, the LAST time she came I handed her two perfectly adorable 3 lb dogs, and she returned one with a broken jaw that wouldn't close, blood flowing from her mouth all over the front porch, and every tooth in her mouth falling to the ground. I went into such shock, that I actually handed her a check AND SHE TOOK IT!!! She began to tell me she had no idea how it happened and ran off like her pants were on fire. It was on a Friday evening, so after going to 3 emergency vets, that all told me to put her down, I asked to please just get pain meds for the weekend. On Monday I found a surgeon, he had to put her in a coma for 2 days because he wouldn't do surgery with HER this traumatized. Brooke started texting me that this breed of dogs commonly loses their teeth, which is true, but not with their jaw broken in 2 places and all at once. My vet wrote to the ins agent that this was caused by severe trauma to the jaw, like yanking it or squeezing it. I sent him the pictures of her. And he wanted to do whatever it took. She now has no bottom jaw and it's a pain in my rear also, Cz I have to buy special food then chop it till it's almost liquid. For the first 3 months after the surgery I had to feed her 13 different things three times a day through a tube in her neck. But, like her fabulous hero doctor told me, she is young and has lots of life to live and since she's a dog, she will figure out a way to eat. And she has. But it is a huge struggle for her. Her food gets all over her face because she has to put her whole head in it. So now no one wants to touch her. NOT ONCE HAS BROOKE CALLED TO ASK HOW BRINKLEE IS MAKING IT!!!!! Or to say I'm sorry I completely deformed your gorgeous little dog. Silly me, I thought she and I were friends. I hope she's gotten some help for her anger problems and I pray she never hurts another animal.
