The wonderful owners sold the business and retired. They legitimately cared about their customers and their pets. The new owners do not understand animals. The place smells like dog and heavy aromatherapy/essential oils. You cannot have aromatherapy or essential oils around pets, at least cats. I wanted to give them a try. I wanted to support them. If I could give zero stars I would. This place has really fallen on in terms of compassion and customer service. they used to be an intimate family, run business post pandemic after the closure of many groomers. They developed a much larger clientele and have lost their touch. I am writing this review on behalf of my sister who was too upset. Our dog Rylee is currently suffering from a medical illness and Erin made very disparaging remarks regarding his condition stating the medications he's taking make her job more difficult and We should not be concerned about his looks, and his haircut should be for comfort because he's only going to get worse. Not to mention she did not even give a quality cut anyway, his toes and face were not properly trimmed although we paid full price and she completely shaved his tail off without letting us know. Perhaps Erin was too busy being insensitive to actually do her job. While Rylee's condition is not necessarily terminal, Erin went out of her way to make sure we felt badly and hopeless about our beloved pet. Rylee will not be retuning here, as we cannot trust he will be treated safely, properly or with the love and care he deserves, not that they care anyway with their new wealthy clientele. I do hope Erin takes a class on showing empathy before engaging with any more humans or animals. read more

Poor customer service. They definitely don't provide a warm and loving environment - maybe only to perfectly behaved dogs but no patience for anxious/nervous animals. They tried to blame dental issues for their difficulty in grooming him. Found another groomer who gave my dog so much love and attention. They successfully bathed him, cut his hair and clipped his nails with no problems. They even sent me videos and pictures. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. They definitely don't have pure love for animals just pure love for the money that this business brings in. read more

Dee and Erin are just great. I reside in the Bronx and I am surrounded by mobile groomers and 3 groomer shops locally but I will travel a little extra to have my Imperial Shih Tzu groomed by Erin. They're trustworthy, they care about the animals and they enjoy what they do. We have been bringing our Cavapoo to Pamper for Paws for almost 2 years now. Diane, Erin and their staff are loving and caring. I have NEVER had a bad experience and our pup looks adorable when we pick him up. Pamper for Paws are the utmost professionals and have always been accommodating for appointments. I live close by and have used many groomers throughout Westchester and we love Pamper. We highly recommend to anyone looking for incredible grooming and a loving environment. We did not have a great experience. Staff was rude to me and unprofessional. My dog was cut by his eye and needed medical attention. I would not reccommend. I did go back to speak with the owners and the vet bill was reimbursed. This is my first review on yelp - I only wish I had seen the previous negative reviews... I am a seasonal worker at this facility and it saddens me To read the last two negative reviews about pamper4paws. From an insider perspective and one who washes and drys the animals myself, I have never mistreated nor seen mistreatment of any animal. Of course you need to understand this can be a high stress environment for both animals and coworkers. Not all animals truly enjoy getting a bath, and If they had a voice they would probably be screaming "no mom And dad, leave me stinky"! Many owners do not maintain their animals either, and we often have animals with deep matted fur, skin issues, ear infections, injured limbs, incontinence, the list goes on. As for the yelling, we are in a facility with loud dryers, and barking dogs. People cannot communicate to each other without raising voices, especially when they are in different rooms. I also would like to comment that the daycare facility is the basement is the length of the store, (plenty of Room for play) and each dog is given water breaks and each are walked around the neighborhood around the same time each day. THERE IS NO NiGHT CARE! Pamper4Paws does NOT board dogs or cats, which is why we offer our in home pet sitting options. The groomer (Erin) and the co-owner (Dee) have been taking care of animals for 10+ years and if anything between them and their attentive staff, they have been able to alert clients of tumors, lumps, growths, infections on the animal and have saved many furry lives. They also provide free grooming services to the local shelters to help get animals adopted. Opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one and half of em stink...clearly your not very knowledgeable of This facility and trying to slander a great small business is just plain wrong. read more

Have been taking my dog Jasper here for several months. The staff genuinely care for animals and are very personable. My dog has anxiety and it has been difficult to find the right place for him. They go out of their way to make him feel comfortable. In addition they provide a good cut, are thorough, and very affordable. My only recommendation is that they were open more hours and possibly on the weekends. I plan to continue to bring my dog here for grooming and recommend them to all local dog owners. read more

By far the worst customer service you could possibly find. All they do is talk horribly about their competitors and treat their customers like they are dirt. From a well educated background and knows many dog owners that go to this place they will lose their business and customers - that is a guarantee. My dog came back looking like they did nothing to her, along with that she looked relieved that she was leaving that place. Never again! I couldn't recommend Pamper 4 Paws more. Erin and Dee go above and beyond the call of duty on a daily basis. They are fantastic in caring for our dog when he participates in their doggie day care program as well as his grooming. They are incredibly accomodating of our schedule and they will move mountains to ensure our dog is cared for. read more

This groomer is in my neighborhood and I walk by each day. I brought in our cat, Coraline, into the facilty and was immediately met with a bright smile from the woman behind the counter. I explained that our cat needed a thorough brushing (I have allergies and can't do it often enough myself) and to have her nails trimmed. They did a beautiful job for our cat. The store was clean, well-lit and most importantly, the ladies performing the services were knowledgeable, friendly and listened to what I needed. The service was quick, efficient and I'm very happy. I've made two more appointments to keep Coraline on a schedule and I look forward to another positive experience. I should mention that I called ahead to ask about getting an appointment and though I didn't have one, they accommodated me on the next business day. Drop off is between 8-9 am and they do not hold on to animals all day. read more
