Very noticeable ripped lapel

First off, i almost never write reviews, good or bad because i don't feel like taking the time to. Needless to say I'm writing this very lengthy review because i felt I had to warn other potential customers. I needed to get a last minute dry cleaning done. Took it to this place because it was the closest to my house. I own about 10+ suits because i work in business and it is required for my job. With that being said i take very good care of all of my suits and take pride in how I look. Today I picked up my finished dry cleaning, which was overpriced compared to other dry cleaning businesses i have been to (I paid $22 for 2 shirts, 1 jacket, and 1 pant). Upon bringing my finished dry cleaning home i started to place them back in my closet when I noticed a huge tear on my jacket's lapel (pictures below). Like anyone else i was furious and immediately took it back to the place to ask them what happened. As soon i walked back in the lady I'm guessing was the owner, started shaking her head when i told her i found a massive rip on my jacket. When she reached me walking from the back to the counter she immediately pulled out a receipt with notes of the tear on it as if she knew i was going to come back and ask what happened. These notes were not on my receipt that I was given. She would not let me get a word in and proceeded to tell me that all the rips were already there on my jacket and that it was older material so it was bound to rip. This jacket was probably my most recent purchase and only about 2 years old. Also probably my most expensive piece i owned. Long story short we went back and forth and she never admitted to ripping my jacket and claimed she had proof on her copy of the receipt which she easily could have written down after she tore my jacket in her store. She never once apologized and even wanted to inspect the jacket. I asked is she was going to be able to do anything for me and of course she said no. I am now going to have to take this jacket to another place and try and repair the damages at my cost. If you have read this far, I warn you not to go to this dry cleaner as you may receive your items damaged in return with no explanation. Not to mention the job is not worth the price at this place.

Over priced and didn't show charge before work was done. $16.50 to restitch the hem on one pant leg is ridiculous!

Not from the area, had to do an emergency load after a toddler fiasco while traveling. This place was open early on a Sunday (6am). Coin machine was working ( thank god) and there were plenty of top load and front loading options. I'm a big fan of the speedy queen washers. I was also very grateful their soap dispenser was loaded so I was able to get some detergent. Top loader washers were $3 a load, speedy queen $5 a load. Dryers a quarter gets you 8 minutes (not bad). I didn't have a ton of stuff in the dryer so I was surprised it took me 5-6 quarters to dry the blanket and few pieces of car seat. All in all the place was clean, lots of space for folding and plenty of washers and dryers for when things really get busy.

Your response is pathetic, shame on you. I came here because I like washing my bedding at a laundromat instead of at home, and I figured it was time to try somewhere new. I've been to Daisy's Laundromat down the street before, but Badillo Launderland had decent reviews so I thought I'd give it a shot. I showed up around 8 in the morning hoping for a quick in and out trip. When I walked in, my first impression was that the place is pretty small. There are only two aisles of machines. The upside was that it was almost empty when I arrived. The only other person there was a woman who looked like she was working on one of the machines. I assumed she might work there, but there was no greeting, no smile, nothing. Just a very cold presence. Luckily she stepped out shortly after, which meant I had the whole place to myself for a while. I used two of the large washers that hold about forty pounds each, which cost around six dollars per wash. One thing I noticed right away is that they offer two payment methods. You can use coins or you can use a card through a smart payment system attached to the machines. Paying with a card comes with a fee though. Even if it is small, it still adds to the total every time you run a machine, so I decided to stick with coins. I exchanged about fifteen dollars at the coin machine and got started. My plan was simple. Wash, dry, and be out within an hour like I usually do when I wash bedding. While the washers were running, I started noticing things that made the place feel a little off. The cleaning seemed very superficial. At first glance it looks maintained, but once you actually look closely you see layers of dust and grime in places that clearly have not been touched in a long time. There is a vent on the ceiling that was so dusty it honestly looked like it had been ignored for years. Another thing that stood out was the number of security cameras. I counted about twelve. That is a lot for a laundromat this size, and they were not even the same type of cameras. Some looked newer and others older. Ironically many of them were dusty too, which just added to the overall feeling that maintenance is inconsistent here. Things really started going downhill once it was time to dry my bedding. I normally use several dryers so everything finishes quickly, so I loaded up six dryers at once. The price is a quarter for seven minutes. I put in fourteen minutes to start, which should be plenty for lighter bedding like sheets. To my surprise, most of the dryers barely produced heat. Out of the six dryers I used, only two of them actually worked the way they should. The others were spinning but clearly not heating properly. At that point I started burning through coins trying to figure out which machines were actually functioning. Time is valuable, and this is where the frustration kicked in. To make things worse, the coin machine ran out of coins while I was still trying to dry everything. This was around eight in the morning on a Tuesday. Running out of coins that early in the day is honestly baffling. I had no choice but to use the smart card system that charges a small fee. At that point I just wanted my bedding dry, so I threw everything into the two dryers that actually worked and maxed out the time. What should have been a quick visit ended up stretching well past an hour, and even then the bedding was not as hot and dry as I usually like it. Another issue is how cramped the place feels once other people start showing up. When I first arrived it was peaceful, but as more customers walked in the tight layout became obvious. People were basically maneuvering around each other in close quarters while trying to move laundry between machines. It made the whole process feel rushed and uncomfortable rather than smooth and relaxing. I will give them one positive note. The music playing inside was actually great. Whoever picked that playlist clearly has good taste because the songs were a vibe. Unfortunately I came here to wash laundry, not to discover new music. By the time that same woman came back later, she still had the same cold demeanor and I decided it was not even worth bringing up the dryer issues. At that point I just wanted to finish and leave. Between the poorly heating dryers, the coin machine running out early in the morning, and the overall maintenance issues, the experience left a really bad impression. It is a shame because the location is convenient and the parking is easy, but I will not be coming back. Hopefully this review helps others know what to expect. If you come here, be prepared to test a few dryers before you find one that actually works.

HOW DO PEOPLE LOVE THIS PLACE? 2024 & 2025…read more Broken broken broken. I came here because the Yelp rating was around four stars, so I genuinely expected something decent, or at least functional and clean. Unfortunately, this was not what I experienced at all. When I arrived, I was greeted by a man who appeared to be homeless. I am not saying this with judgment, just sharing context because it became relevant to the environment. At first, I didn't realize he was homeless until later when he began talking with another man about rehab, drug use, and going to a center. It was early in the morning, and that alone already made the space feel uncomfortable. On top of that, it wasn't even obvious this was a laundromat because the blinds were closed, so from the outside it looked dark and uninviting. Once inside, the overall condition of the place was shocking. Dirty, run down, broken machines everywhere, and honestly embarrassing for anyone involved. The machines themselves were a headache. I had to keep feeding quarters into the washers and then repeatedly ask for my money back because they wouldn't work properly. I had to try multiple times just to get a dryer going. Pricing has clearly gone up since it's dollars just to get twenty minutes of dry time, which would be fine if the machines actually worked consistently. The sinks, hand washing area, and restroom were especially bad. Everything felt grimy and neglected, like surface level cleaning is done just enough to say it's cleaned, but the deeper filth and chronic buildup are very much still there. It's hard to ignore how worn down and dirty everything is. What bothered me most is that it seems like this location is being used as a resting spot for people who are not there to do laundry, and they stay for long periods of time. I assume management is aware since there are cameras, and these individuals are there far longer than a quick stop. That gives the impression that management simply does not care, and that's not something I'm comfortable with as a customer. I didn't feel unsafe, but I was definitely on high alert the entire time, and that's not how you should feel while doing something as simple as laundry. While the machines technically do their job, nothing about this place feels well maintained or inviting. I will not be returning, and I do not recommend this location unless serious changes are made. Also, the unhoused individuals were talking about taking things they found. I just came to wash but witnessed trauma.

When I arrived there was washers and dryers available and I did not have to wait to load my items. Keep in mind the change machine does not work for $20 bills, so you need to bring smaller bills. The washer was fairly quick and dealt with my comforters in about 30 minutes. The dryers appear to be good quality and handled the drying duties in about 24 minutes. I would come here again to wash larger items I can't take care of at home.
