The Hampton location is definitely my home store and the closest one to me, and I honestly felt like had to share my experiences here since lately I've had mixed feelings and bad reviews about other locations. I originally came in about a month and a half ago with one of those free tan vouchers online, fully expecting not to spend any money at all ,lol. Jodie, the manager, helped me at the counter and was super knowledgeable and honest from the start. She explained that the free voucher couldn't be used on weekends, then took the time to break down all the spray tan pricing and membership options for me. Once she explained that a single spray tan basically cost the same as getting a monthly membership, I figured I might as well commit since it's summer and I knew I'd want to tan weekly anyway. Then she told me about a special they were running on their top-tier membership -- half off the first month with unlimited access to all the services. She explained it in a way that made TOTAL sense financially because I could try everything for basically the same amount I was already about to spend, then downgrade later if I wanted. Honestly, smartest upsell ever because it genuinely benefited me too. Sign me up! What I also love is this place is sooo much more than just old-school tanning beds and spray tans like back in the day. They have all kinds of sauna options, red light/light therapy services, wellness and recovery stuff too. It's honestly turned into a place where I can come do self-care, self-maintenance, relax, and get my glow on all in one stop. Since then, I've tried multiple services I normally never would've considered, and I've actually loved them so much that I extended my membership into another month instead of downgrading . Very disappointed in my experience here. First , the pressure to purchase expensive monthly memberships is annoying. Second, I paid $60 for a booth tan that was awful. The bottoms of my feet are dark rust colored, nothing at all on my calves, strange lines on my inside wrists, dark splotchy dirty color on my neck . After one rinse, I barely look tanned at all. Such a waste of money. The only good thing I can say is the attendant was friendly . Do not recommend Palm Beach. I could have gotten a custom airbrush tan for what I paid . they close way to early even on wkends their closed by 4 or 5 it's crazy i can understand closing early during winter but not during tanning season so many people work theirs just not enough time if you have a lot of members for them all to tan especially if they have job & work til 4ot me 5 pm & your closed at 7 pm that's with all the palm beach tanning salons! read more

I went in there for a spray tan for a wedding I have coming up, the young lady Noel at the counter was nothing short of amazing, she mentioned the promotions they have going on and matched my skin up perfectly with some bronzers. although i declined the promo, i still will be back to this facility to see Miss Noel she's great her energy is unmatched!!! read more

All the ladies/staff are super friendly and helpful! This location is my favorite one in the area. It's the nicest and it is bigger than the others and they have a level 5 bed, which not all of the locations have. I'll definitely keep coming to this location. read more

This place is awesome. When I was prepping for a Florida vacation, I checked out a couple local tanning salons before selecting this one for my pre-trip tan. The facility is extremely clean and the staff is friendly and professional. My trip was over a year ago and I still visit Tan Co. it helps keep my tan dark and I feel like I just got back from the beach. I also, like their Mystic Tan, it covers the body well and does not look like some lower quality spray tans. I'm a big fan!!! read more

This place isn't the cheapest tanning place I've been, but it's quality. They have a huge selection of beds (40+) and I've had a great experience so far with the Level 4 beds. The staff is crazy friendly, and it's pretty clean. My only suggestion would be more options for buying packages instead of memberships. The price difference is pretty high, and makes it hard to turn down the membership. read more

I 100% know I got covid from this location. Was out for 14 days in April and in the hospital for 4 of them. Asked them to freeze my account so I wouldn't get charged and yet to this day I'm still getting charged and they want me to pay $100 to cancel without getting any of the money back. Ive been going here for a while, I NEVER seem to get tan. The bulbs must be old, or their beds bad, I dont know. I went to Xtreme Tan up the road and explained the situation, she chuckled and said everyone says that. ONE tan there and im good to go. What a waste of money Palm Beach is... I haven't had any tanning services in a long time and came here to get a spray tan because they are close to where I live. Tabby helped me immensely and walked me through the whole process. Tabby also advised me on what would work best for my skin type, she was so nice and made me feel comfortable with the whole deal. The tanning beds are great and I used to be a member for two years until I decied to not give skin cancer a chance. I liked the Mystic tan and their number 3 bed so while I was tanning this was a decent place. Beware of a hefty price tag, though and staff that doesn't really care too much. read more

I was sold a damaged bottle of lotion & emailed corporate to get just my lid replaced. Rebecca H responded to the email & told me to go to the dollar store to pour my bottle of lotion into. Wtf. She told me at this location, all the lids were broken on that specific brand of lotion. So she's okay with selling damaged items as long as they get their money. I bought the groupon for The Tan Co. I used it for 2 Mystics. Everyone was super nice and explained everything without making me feel stupid. I'd only uv tanned before, not Mystic, and I'm trying to break away from the uv. I would totally go back there BUT they only have 1 regular mystic at this location! I guess there's some sort of HD version, but I didn't want to pay extra. I wanted to run in, tan, run out and be home within 45 minutes. Unfortunately, there were 3 people ahead of me, and I didn't even get in there for over hour. (side note: what are people DOING in there? clothes off, spray tan, clothes on, why are you taking 25 minutes??) Anyway, I would love to go back to support the idea of the groupon, but I can't take 1 1/2 hours to go tanning. Otherwise, the place seemed really clean, and if you're looking for tanning beds, they move people in and out pretty fast with those. read more
