Since my previous review, Spa Tan has remedied the situation. I'm glad because I did enjoy going to get a tan there.

Overall I've been pleased with my time interacting with the staff. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable.

I've been coming here for many years with no issues until today. I walked in today to remove my freeze. after waiting 10 minutes for someone to come up to the front, I let her know why I was there and told her in the last few months my card was compromised so she will need my new debit card info. The " Manager" took my new card and told me there was a $25 fee because of the card not being able to be ran (I assumed she meant while my account was frozen). when I got home, I was charged $132.00 so I called back. the same "manager" explained this time that that was because they charged me from February to today for the full monthly fee plus the $25 (which was never told to me before I handed her my debit card). hoping to contact the owner, Chad, to make things right. read more

Very nice. They have great availability. The folks there are super nice. I've gone a couple times and am very happy with the results. I went during cold months and the place is not, in my opinion, adequately heated for how cold it was outside and for the fact that you get practically naked. I am, over all, pleased! Wow, what a total disappointment. I got a spray tan and bought the "buy one get the second one half off". The first tan was a disaster, my face was an oil slick and didn't get any color. The tan was hardly there, except for the splotches. I had to go back two days later to use the other tan hoping I would be tan for my event. I ended up paying $16 extra for additives because that wasn't included in the deal then$5 more because this time she suggested using dark instead of medium. Then $6 to $8 dollars for the stickies for my feet. The results were terrible, I ended up not being able to wear the dress I wanted to wear. I had to cover my arms and legs because they were so splotchy. I will say that my face looked good. Customer service was lacking, the second counter person could see I had poor results. It never entered her mind to comp me a tan two days later (usually lasts a week).But she knew how to upsell! I'm the way out. She said my tan would last longer if I used some other products. Are you kidding me? I can't wait for it to be gone! I'll be going back to the salon that's a distance to drive. I've always gotten good results and it's not as expensive. read more

I wish Spa Tan was in my city. I was traveling through STL and read reviews and had to try Chad's Spa Tan. I was amazed at his machine the Mystic spray Tan booth. Wow. You can also get a tanning bed (lights) AND the spray tan. Check out the deals they have going on. You will look natural and gorgeous. Just try it. They will give you clear instructions on how to not get it on your hands and feet. And they even tell you why so you will know for the next time. Also, ask them and they give instructions for stretching it out for a week or more. It's so worth it for every day or a special event. Chad knows his stuff and runs a clean, honest and SAFE business. They are also repectful there. Easy to talk with. I highly recommend the St Petersburg or or the Chesterfield location. Hey, also, YOU will NOT turn orange! The best tanning salon I have been to, and I only tan at the best! More affordable for unlimited than any other WITH quality beds! They even have Infared therapy! Wear a "ritualistic shame muzzle" if you are THAT afraid, however....The people who run this business stand for FREEDOM, and seem to realize that the people who are afraid of a "Deadly Virus" (that the CDC admits, has never been isolated and is 99.9% survivable) wouldn't be going somewhere to lay on the same surface where another person just sweat buckets! Tanning beds are great; however, they have some sort of scam with their charges. I cancelled my membership after I had it on "hold" for two months....you can keep it on hold for $5 a month until you are ready to use it again but I didn't want it anymore so I cancelled it. And my credit card has a charge of $53.00 on it. That they won't reverse. So I disputed it with my credit card company. This is after they continued to charge me during the quarantine. They actually remained open and people are supposed to know that? read more

Not only are the beds inadequate but the policy of the "freeze" your account is terrible. It's essentially a way to take your money without services. I asked to cancel my account and yet I'm still being billed because my account was "frozen" not canceled. I had to talk to two different associates to get an answer, most answered, "uhm, well, uhm...". This is not a business I would recommend to anyone. So if you enjoy your money being taken by a tanning salon who's beds make you itch enjoy. read more

I went into Spa Tan to get information on the tanning beds/packages that they had to offer. Anytime I have gone to a tanning salon, it is always a pressured sales based conversation. I did not have that here at all. Breanna, the General Manager was friendly and extremely knowledgable in her field. She was patient and detailed in all of her answers. As customers would come in, she was able to quickly get them checked in while giving the appropriate amount of attention to the incoming customers and myself. I highly suggest giving this place a try for the awesome options on the beds (levels 1-5) and the surprisingly refreshing staff! read more

These people are Crooks they're still billing me for services I haven't been there for 3 months. They refuse to return my money n only offered partial store credit. There's far too many spas to have to deal with Crooks. Good luck if u proceed. read more

My wife got a spray tan there the day before our honeymoon. She has gotten spray tans in the past at other places and paid less than half of what your spa is charging. She left there with splotchy marks and her legs and arms were completely different shades. I only know this because she was so upset. She left there not realizing the severity of the awful tan she had gotten until arriving at home and examining it in better lighting. It was definitely not worth her $65 dollars! read more

Had the absolute WORST experience. Bought a month a year ago which ended up being a full membership, no one explained the terms and conditions of what I was purchasing. I had to keep the membership for a full billing cycle before I could cancel and when I went to cancel they would not let me because I did not do so before a certain date, which again was never explained. I go to school out of town and was paying for a month that I wasn't going to be able to use, the owner "made a deal" with me that if contiued tanning over summer he would give me the month that i already PAID, however, I will not be living in St. Charles anymore. Instead of apologizing for this situation and helping me get my money back, I feel like I was scammed out of $50.The owner was extremely rude, degrading, unprofessional, would not let me finish my sentences on the phone, he talked poorly about his manger that allowed me to freeze my account w/o any charge and how he "lost" money because of it, and shared customer information with me.
