After reading through other reviews, I also noticed a pattern of responses where customer experiences were argued against or questioned, which didn't leave the best impression. I chose this salon based on recommendations from several peers and was really excited to try a custom airbrush tan here. The two girls at the front desk were both very friendly and welcoming, and Meadow, who did my spray tan, was kind and professional throughout the appointment. I received the Venetian Express and explained that I was looking for a natural glow rather than a very dark tan. Meadow instructed me to rinse after 3 hours, and then take a full shower with soap at 8 hours, which I followed exactly. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the final result. The color developed very orange on my skin and the tan turned out uneven and splotchy in multiple areas. It was also not blended well around my ankles and wrists, which made it look noticeably unnatural. Overall, the quality looked more like what I would expect from an automated spray tan booth rather than a custom airbrush tan. I truly wanted to love my experience because the staff was pleasant and the salon came highly recommended, but for the price and the expectation of a custom spray tan, I was disappointed with the final outcome.

I was greeted by Hailey, who was able to pull up my membership and asked what services I wanted to use. I explained that I have the top-tier package and wanted to take advantage of multiple services, including red light therapy for my face, a bronzing bed, and a spray tan. I let her decide the order. I started with the red light therapy (about 20 minutes). It was fine, but honestly a bit underwhelming--I didn't notice any immediate difference, though I understand that may take time. After that, I moved on to the bronzing bed. At the front counter, there were multiple "tester" lotions displayed. When asked if I had lotion, I said no and asked if I could try one of the testers. Instead of being able to sample it, I was told I had to purchase a packet. That felt a little misleading since the bottles were labeled as testers. I ended up buying a discounted packet for around $4 just to try something, but the whole interaction felt more like a push to upsell than a helpful recommendation. Lastly, I went to do my spray tan. I asked for the same dark shade I had used previously at another location under the same top-tier membership. I was then told there would be an additional charge for that shade. That caught me off guard, because I wasn't charged for it before and was under the impression that it was included in my package. Rather than argue, I just went with the medium, but it left me confused about consistency between locations. Overall, I didn't feel like the service matched the above and beyond service the other location demonstrated or provide the level of membership I'm paying for. Between the confusion about what's included and the pressure to purchase add-ons, the experience felt more transactional than welcoming. I'm not sure if it was just that employee's deliverance or a difference between locations, but I do hope for more consistency and a more customer-friendly approach moving forward.

She explained that the free voucher couldn't be used on weekends, then took the time to break down all the spray tan pricing and membership options for me. Once she explained that a single spray tan basically cost the same as getting a monthly membership, I figured I might as well commit since it's summer and I knew I'd want to tan weekly anyway. Then she told me about a special they were running on their top-tier membership -- half off the first month with unlimited access to all the services. She explained it in a way that made TOTAL sense financially because I could try everything for basically the same amount I was already about to spend, then downgrade later if I wanted. Honestly, smartest upsell ever because it genuinely benefited me too. Sign me up! What I also love is this place is sooo much more than just old-school tanning beds and spray tans like back in the day. They have all kinds of sauna options, red light/light therapy services, wellness and recovery stuff too. I was skeptical at first, but I am so glad I found Fit N Tan. They have tons of tanning beds from maintenance to bronzing, and they also have a Versa Spa and a Mystic booth. I typically like to use the Versa Spa if I am wanting a tan. If you don't know what that is, it is sunless tanning (aka Spray Tan). I like getting Spray Tans over using a normal tanning bed because it is not harmful on your skin like tanning beds, and you practically get instant results. My one complaint with the Versa Spa is that they don't have the Versa Spa Pro like Pacific Beach (Palm Beach, now) did. I liked the Pro because it did a second pass on your legs or face. I still settle for the regular Versa Spa, but I do really wish they had a Pro. The main reason why I don't mind giving them my time and money is because the employees are very friendly and helpful. After my first visit, I received in the mail a hand written thank you card for my business, and that went a long way with me. I am absolutely one of those people who will spend more money somewhere else for better service. All in all, this place is great and I can't wait to keep coming back.

I drive very far to this location. both of the employees spent 10 minutes not able to turn on the VersaPro when I wanted a spray tan that day. they called someone on the phone asking for help. they both acted like they had no idea how to work any of the rooms. are they giving training to the girls who work here? they told me it was a system problem or something. they have no manager there. they have a customer service number you can call and they called me back 2 hours later saying you can use the spray machine now. I went to this location before work right when they opened. it was very frustrating. then I asked them if I could just use a tanning bed. they both seemed bewildered on how to turn on that machine as well? I really don't understand like if you work here you should know how to operate the machine and turn it on so customers can use it?!! I hope corporate sees this, since there is never a manager to talk to!!! SO that day, I never got a spray tan that day! All after driving 30 minutes to this salon!
