Suzanne reached out to me on Instagram and shared her studio. I went for the first time before the American Cancer Society Discovery Ball event for the Cleveland Hope Lodge the following day. Although it was a little darker than I normally get, I will probably get the same thing from now on because it turned out really great. Really wish I had pictures from the event.

That always makes me happy. I was able to get an appointment that week with esthetician Lauren. You'll probably miss this spot when you first arrive because its inconspicuously tucked away inside a nondescript office building. See my photos of the exterior of where to go and you'll save yourself a bit of time and confusion. There's a few metered spots directly outside the office building as well as a metered parking lot behind the building. Flawless is on the second floor and the elevator didn't look like it worked, so be prepared for stairs in terms of accessibility. Their space is super cute, welcoming and buzzing with happy clients. This was the first time I ever had a lash lift, and Lauren was great! She was very knowledgeable, walked me through the process, and followed COVID safety protocol. The building itself is older, and in her service room, it was super muggy when we started my service. I was overheating and she was kind enough to put on the AC specifically to make me more comfortable. I loved my lashes afterwards and they lasted longer than I expected. Comparatively, their prices are fair and even with other local businesses. They also offer tanning and other beauty services, and I won't hesitate to return here for a future service. Due to the nature of what happened at Spavia in Strongsville, Ohio, my husband does not wish to revisit the details and asked that I write this review on his behalf. At first, the owners/managers of this establishment seemed genuinely concerned. They even asked that he send his experience to them in writing, since he was too upset to express it in person at the time. We were hopeful and did so--almost a month ago--but to date, we've received no reply from them. Regarding, his experience. We had hoped to write an updated, more positive review based on their stated desire to "make it right." Sadly, we cannot. Below is the review sent to the owners/managers about a month ago. Please read on and judge for yourselves. My husband and I had our first visit to Spavia last month in Dublin, Ohio, where he received an outstanding salt stone massage. Since we live in Cleveland, he was looking forward to having a similar experience at the Spavia in Strongsville. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite -- truly awful for him. Based on his provider, Ashley's reviews, it's clear his experience with her, wasn't due to her lack of skill or knowledge, but rather her lack of enthusiasm and unwillingness to perform the service with care. Making his 60 minutes session grueling and very uncomfortable. Far below Spavia's standards. From an excessively long and overly oily scalp effleurage "rub." It could hardly be called a scalp "massage." To the poor use of the stones, it was absolutely apparent that Ashley performed the "whole" service begrudgingly. After spending over $200, including tip, my husband left feeling stressed instead of relaxed. Maybe she was having an off day, but for an establishment like Spavia -- especially at this price point -- the service was totally uncomfortable & unacceptable. To say the least. To their credit, the managers immediately expressed concern and offered to "make things right." I've never been tanning before either. When I got there the lady at the front desk took my info and explained to me about the beds. She suggested to go up to another bed which was only a $10 difference. I also figured I would just buy tanning lotion at the salon too. She went over about the lotions and since I have tattoos I went with jwoww. We then proceeded to the room and she explained everything to me on what to do. I was going about every other day. Everytime I went in, the front desk person was nice. I had a great experience and when my month was up, I talked with the front desk person about how I saw reviews about not going up in time, she explained it's because the owner doesn't want you to burn. Now that I am back from cancun and pretty tan, I might start go back and buy a tanning package to keep my tan! Everyone that works there is super nice also.
