Again, I was able to put my package on hold. The attendants are very nice and helpful. I tan, not just for my vanity, but because I suffer from depression and find tanning, even once a week, helps tremendously. There are tanning salons all over nearer to me, but will continue to patronize Aloha. Their bulbs are always like new, and the variety of bed levels is impressive.​

Due to the nature of what happened at Spavia in Strongsville, Ohio, my husband does not wish to revisit the details and asked that I write this review on his behalf. At first, the owners/managers of this establishment seemed genuinely concerned. They even asked that he send his experience to them in writing, since he was too upset to express it in person at the time. We were hopeful and did so--almost a month ago--but to date, we've received no reply from them. Regarding, his experience. We had hoped to write an updated, more positive review based on their stated desire to "make it right." Sadly, we cannot. Below is the review sent to the owners/managers about a month ago. Please read on and judge for yourselves. My husband and I had our first visit to Spavia last month in Dublin, Ohio, where he received an outstanding salt stone massage. Since we live in Cleveland, he was looking forward to having a similar experience at the Spavia in Strongsville. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite -- truly awful for him. Based on his provider, Ashley's reviews, it's clear his experience with her, wasn't due to her lack of skill or knowledge, but rather her lack of enthusiasm and unwillingness to perform the service with care. Making his 60 minutes session grueling and very uncomfortable. Far below Spavia's standards. From an excessively long and overly oily scalp effleurage "rub." It could hardly be called a scalp "massage." To the poor use of the stones, it was absolutely apparent that Ashley performed the "whole" service begrudgingly. After spending over $200, including tip, my husband left feeling stressed instead of relaxed. Maybe she was having an off day, but for an establishment like Spavia -- especially at this price point -- the service was totally uncomfortable & unacceptable. To say the least. I'm writing this review on his behalf, as it was such a disappointing and demeaning experience that he prefers not to relive it. To their credit, the managers immediately expressed concern and offered to "make things right." Since he was unable to explain his level of disappointment at that time, the managers advised him to write this review. Which we sincerely appreciate. We only wish the experience itself had reflected the high standard Spavia is known for.

The Chemogirls extensions were the only answer to restore my hair. These extensions are non damaging to the fine brittle hair, as they are held with a tree sap bond. Its an amazing process. I was so relieved to find that I could once again have a beautiful head of thick long hair, that I would actually get compliments on. I finally felt like myself again after all of the cancer treatments. I have been doing these extensions with Cheryl at ESBI since 2018. I will need this service a lifetime. Her skills are amazing and am so grateful to have found her and her salon. The staff, salon and Cheryl are top notch. If I am unable to make my appt I cancel per policy and am offered another stylist if Cheryl is booked. All the stylists are taught amazing color. Their color and products are 100% top grade!! Cheryl was trained from specialists all over the world! She has been a leading teacher on cutting edge color and cuts!! Her staff is continually learning new techniques from her.
