I've never been tanning before either. When I got there the lady at the front desk took my info and explained to me about the beds. She suggested to go up to another bed which was only a $10 difference. I also figured I would just buy tanning lotion at the salon too. She went over about the lotions and since I have tattoos I went with jwoww. We then proceeded to the room and she explained everything to me on what to do. I was going about every other day. Everytime I went in, the front desk person was nice. I had a great experience and when my month was up, I talked with the front desk person about how I saw reviews about not going up in time, she explained it's because the owner doesn't want you to burn. Went in yesterday on my day off for clear medium spray tan. I've gotten them at other places before…read moreand never had problem with the way they turned out but it was my first time at this place and this morning I woke up to mass amounts of uneven residue all over my face and body which she told me wouldn't happen with the clear which is why I chose it. My chest and arms and stomach and legs have reside in my pores making it look like I have shit ton of black heads everywhere. I have splotches of white areas all over. Splotches of orange freckle looking areas. I went in the shower to get the access off and damn near all of the color wiped off on my towel and now I have no other choice but to go to work like this smh. I am so mad and embarrassed. Idek how to fix it at this point but when I finally do I am never going back there again. Debating if I should even bother wasting my time asking for my money back smh. Suzanne is such a great person and her tans are very beautiful…read more Usually I only get spray tans for events such as weddings, etc. I used to go to John Roberts for my spray tans prior to COVID as I did not really know anyone else that did it prior to COVID. Suzanne reached out to me on Instagram and shared her studio. I went for the first time before the American Cancer Society Discovery Ball event for the Cleveland Hope Lodge the following day. Although it was a little darker than I normally get, I will probably get the same thing from now on because it turned out really great. Really wish I had pictures from the event.

I picked the darkest shade and let it sit for the maximum amount of time. You can see my thong line to see the difference.. looks like i picked medium to light. my tan after rinsing off with just water is either splotchy or non existent looking. No I did not have any lotion on prior I exfoliated before as asked and I only used water to rinse off. Service was nice, I'm just disappointed because it was for an important day and now it's too late to figure something else out.

I had to ask the person who sprayed me to go back over one underarm, and she did, but unfortunately a huge part was still missed. I don't know if the solution they're using is old or not quality but it did come out looking very orangey and took much longer than it should have to fade, even with scrubbing. Service was kind and polite in store but when I messaged twice to discuss, nobody responded.
