I feel bad for having tong to give her a bad review, but I need to for any future clients. The equipment that was used to spray the tan on was bad. She explained that there was a part that needed replaced ordered but she hadn't received it yet, so it kept malfunctioning. She shouldn't have used it at all. The tan was considerably darker than what we had discussed on the phone and it was basically horrendous. There were streaks, uneven tones and areas that had crevices (heels, elbows, knuckles, nails etc.) were not covered with any lotion to prevent coloring in those areas. I didn't ask about this at the time because I was new at it and it wasn't until I talked with an experienced friend that I found out about all the things she didn't do and should have. At the time, I didn't realize just how bad it was until I got home and got into some good light. The room she sprays you in doesn't have sufficient lighting, so I didn't see the disaster until I got home. I hate giving bad reviews, but I don't want someone else to go through this emotional trauma, plus I really liked Kathy.
