The massage therapist I saw here I couldn't understand anything what she said to me she has an accent that is hard to understand her. I only wanted to get a massage there but the therapist asked me if I wanted to add other services like hot stones and whatever else to my massage I got. It all added up in the end and it was really expensive for everything I got done there and on top of that they didn't take but cash and credit card no checks. The massage therapist was really pushy there kept asking me to make another appointment with them and I told them No. It was a not a good experience I had there will never go back to that place again now I know. One of my dear friends became a client- and over two years went 11 times and spent thousands. Recently, the salon messed up- lost her color card and didn't regard her photos and history and toned her hair incorrectly. Instead of honoring a loyal and generous client- they gave her the run around for two weeks, refused to fix this issue, cancelled an upcoming appointment and frankly treated her like dirt. If you look at my review history - I don't think you'll ever see a negative review- but this frosts me. You'd think a small business would have the smarts to treat a loyal client with respect. Not Split Enz. I'll not be going back.

A few other spots in the area couldn't take us, but Bamboo Nails was able to seat both of us as walk-ins with no problem, which I really appreciated. Everyone there was super friendly, and they were efficient without making us feel rushed. We both got the signature pedicure, and they did exactly what needed to be done. My feet were left soft and blemish-free, and the massage chairs were extremely relaxing. For some reason, no one asked whether we wanted clear polish, and I didn't think about it until we were already gone, but that's on me as much as anything. The biggest win was my little brother absolutely loving his first pedicure experience. He said he'd definitely be back, so mission accomplished. Overall, a great stop and a solid 4-star experience.

Since our first visit three years ago was great, we decided to try them again. We were delighted that this facility was still providing quality service and adherence to CDC guidelines. All four of us were serviced together and all tools used for the pedicure were new and opened in our presence. The foot baths were freshly prepped in our presence to include fresh tub liners for each foot bath. Clinicians all wore face mask and gloves. We watched them dispose of the instruments used for each pedicure and the re-cleaning of the stations which included the entire pedicure chair. It is worth our taking the hour drive again in a few weeks just for a pedicure. Keep up the good work and care you show your customers Nails Uptown!

I felt I was in the staff's way as I got a manicure and pedicure. A little girl of one of the employees was going around to the customers talking and she kept asking her mom for things while she was giving a manicure. One of the male employees had his phone on speakerphone scrolling through many websites/apps and going from song to song in his native language for everyone to hear. The shop was messy. I didn't feel my manicure was very good either - polish didn't last more than 3 days when on a trip.
