Went in to sign up for a base tan to start a vacation. Told them what I wanted and they had to walk me thru everything. Afterwards I picked the package and was told to swipe my card twice. Once for the month and the second for an ongoing plan. YOU CANNOT GET A SIGN PLAN. I told them this was just for a month, couldn't do that. Had to be a long term signup. I know how hard it is to try to cancel those plans. I left. Nice try, but not paying for a multi plan when all I want is a single month. read more

I've been charged repeatedly by Palm Beach Tan for months even after attempting to cancel multiple times. The most recent charge was $64.95, and at this point it's beyond frustrating -- it's unacceptable. There seems to be no accountability or proper cancellation process, and I'm still being billed despite my efforts to stop it. I've now had to involve my bank to block further charges. Be very cautious signing up here. If you do, make sure you get clear confirmation of cancellation -- otherwise you may keep getting charged with no resolution. read more

I have had a membership with Palm Beach Tan, Chino for going on five years. About a week ago, I was notified that eye protection would no longer be available. In addition, if I wanted a towel, I had to ask for one, it would no longer be available in the bed prior to entering. Today, I was told I cannot tan unless I had eye protection with me, which I didn't have. Then I was told I could purchase eye protection for $5. Or I could purchase, one time use stickers, for $1. I already pay $60 a month, now they are trying to get more money for something they gave for free, for years. Needless to say, I'm not happy. Looking for new options. ILuv2Tan! ( this should be my next password) I'm naturally a very pale gal and it makes me feel blah and boring! HOWEVER, when I'm tan, I feel like the life of the party! Beach Party, that is! Was sold a tanning lotion for little over $200 bucks but found the same tanning lotion from multiple tanning supply online stores, Amazon and other distributors for under -$100. I tried to reach out to the manager for a refund as I never used it or even opened the bottle but could never got a hold of her. She never called me after I went in talking to the front desk and left a message. Called and called and nothing. This would be the second bottle I have purchased. The first bottle I bought was $250 and again online I found for just over $100 That's my experience I understand retails having a markup but that kind of markup and can't even speak to a manager in regard to my concern makes me quite angry. read more

I've been coming here for several years and never posted a review because I had a love-hate relationship with them, BUT they've made so many great improvements that now it's all love! I am a spray tanner only. Now that they have TWO spray booths the wait times are so much better! It was really bad before. When there is a wait they always let you know how long and you have the option of leaving and coming back. That's when I hit up the surrounding shops real quick! Just be back on time or you loose your place in line. They remodeled the spray tan rooms so there is finally a place to hang my things!! Both booths spray beautifully. I always use a primer along with exfoliating first and my color looks and stays better. They have booties & hair caps (I double them), nose plugs and lip balm for protection. And they always ask if you want extras of anything. They always have great membership offers. I love that you can put your membership on hold when you're not using it for $7.50 a month, and you don't lose the money. They give it back to you as tan dollars, which I use on spray tan color add-ins but you can use it on other things like lotions. The staff here is always nice and greets me with a smile. Everything always looks clean. The only issue I have is that they do seem to have a staffing problem some days (usually on the weekends). This makes for long wait times at check-in when there's only one person working. Otherwise this is my go to place for a summer glow! read more

I am so disappointed in this place. Used to come here a lot when I was in high school but since coming back years later machines are always broken, spray tan machines always down and I'm paying 40$ a month as a membership specifically for the spray tan machine and it's ALWAYS DOWN. Almost the entire month of June they were shut down for a flood and instead of giving a refund for the month they keep my money AND proceed to tell me sorry but the spray machines are down now. I tried canceling my membership but apparently I have to cancel ahead of time so now I'm going to be billed for the month of July. Absolutely ridiculous. Vibes are not it, rude little girls with major attitude when asking for help. Save your money and go to the small business spray tan girls. They care more and you'll actually use your money for something that you want. read more
