To the Manager who wasn't on duty this evening at the Keller restaurant: We called your Keller location phone number listed on the website and placed our order for two large pizzas. In addition, we attempted to order your $5.99 small pizza "manager's special" deal after seeing the coupon on the front page of your website that said, "only available at the Keller restaurant". Your employees said that there's no such deal and that your website is incorrect. When asked to speak to the manager, they said that no manager was on duty this evening. They apologized, which I can appreciate. The employee was only doing their job. This is not their fault... this is a leadership/management failure for not properly informing the employees/staff, and/or not being aware, as a leaders/manager, that your business is offering customers a deal, when in fact, it is not. Is it possible for you to update your website correctly and truthfully advertise (as well as update your employees/staff), versus providing false advertising on your website? We're seriously not trying to be a pain, or get any employee in trouble (it wasn't the employee's fault, as this is a management issue), however, it's clearly false advertising on your website and the managers/leaders there should resolve that issue so that their employees are clear on expectations. We have been a Palio's customer quite frequently (ordering large orders from the Keller restaurant multiple times a month) for two years now and have loved Palios' service until this evening. Ordered here for delivery through Door Dash. Pasta was dry no sauce and my kids thought the pizza was ok. Instead of the large pizza we ordered we received a medium and a small (because they gave our pizza away I guess.) When our Dasher asked if they would make us what we ordered the response was, "This is my Fu@"$in Restaurant they'll get what I send and if they want what they ordered they can call up here and ask for it" I have no clue is this was an owner or MOD but I'm guessing with that tone and attitude an owner. I've been in this business and Long time and not only was your food mediocre but with that attitude I will NEVER eat or order here again and will never recommend it. Hands down, the worst food I've eaten in DFW so far. Having just moved to DFW from NY, I was hopeful when I found Palio's. With a 4 and 1/2 star rating on Google and everything made to order, I was especially excited. Ordered "The King" (pizza pie) and the baked-ziti as a backup. I'm really not that finicky when it comes to pizza but, wow, what a disappointment. The pizza: "red sauce had no seasoning, no flavor, no nothing". Heinz ketchup would have been better. Sausage was AWFUL and the vegetables (olives, mushrooms, etc) were canned. I removed anything she couldn't eat, (onion, olives, sausage) and gave it to my dog. She refused to eat it. The baked ziti was an even bigger disaster. I watched as the girl prepared the dish. I noticed that she removed store bought ricotta from the fridge and added RAW garlic directly into the cheese mixture. From there, she spooned sauce and and ricotta mixture together with PRECOOKED ziti pasta, mixed it and added a layer of sub-par mozzarella cheese on top. The pink-goop laden pasta resulted it what can be described in one single word: "disgusting". If anyone has ever made baked ziti (or followed a recipe printed on the side of most ziti/rigatoni pasta boxes), one would know immediately this is not how this dish is supposed to be made. There's a certain level of love and simplicity that goes into Italian food. Mixing cheese into a bowl with a spoonful of jarred garlic is just lazy. I'm so angry that this place is serving sub-par food, canned ingredients (at outrageous prices) to their customers and calling it "Italian". I call it "garbage". Giving it 2 stars because the place seemed pretty clean and modern. But, I'll never go back. read more

Keller Location only. I won't bury the lead. Two of the three last times I ordered a small cheese pizza for carryout I waited more than 45 minutes for it in the lobby. Seriously though? I threw a fit the first time because I couldn't event get anyone's attention, they remade it and lost it and I waited longer. I didn't pay for that pizza and they begged me try again. I did. And here I sit waiting 45+ minutes again from when I've placed the order. I arrive and pay and when they check on it they let me know it hasn't been started yet. Don't tell me 25 minutes on the phone and wot to start it until I get there. Food: I love it. Service: really goes either way and that's been super frustrating with girls who take calls and can't figure out how to be courteous and girls at the counter who act just as "whatever." read more

This location is terrible! We got a coupon in the mail for a buy one get one lunch special half off. We weren't sure if this was available on the weekends or not, so we checked the website for this location in particular and it specifically says that the lunch special is good everyday. The manager, we assume, told us that the lunch special isn't available on the weekends and that they can't help what the website says. We insisted they honor what was advertised. She snapped at us and was extremely rude and unprofessional. The guy working the register didn't seem to have a clue. I ordered a small Grace's pizza for my lunch. My husband ordered a small custom pizza. We were charged for 2 lunches AND a Grace's pizza. There was no discount on the receipt. I asked him to correct it before submitting the charge as $28 was no where near a discounted lunch for two people. The rude girl was back to "fix" the order and the charges. I think we paid like $9 or something which was less than we should have paid. They brought the correct pizza for my husband, but only brought a small cheese pizza for me. I didn't bother to say anything at this point. I ate some of the pizza. About halfway through the meal, they brought a regular sized Grace's pizza but said nothing. What???? Awful customer service. We love this spot after a Keller game. The pizzas are thin crust with generous toppings and the staff is always courteous.

For me the experience of being a customer is just as important, if not more, than the actual product. EVERY time I have ordered a pizza to be delivered, the same girl takes my order. I think her name is Megan. When she answers the phone it's as if she is being extremely bothered to take my order. Forget asking questions about specials, ingredients, or anything in general. You can literally hear her rolling her eyes as she rudely tells you it's online. I've only tried the Palio's in Irving and I loved it. I tried this location as carryout because it's closer to home, and I don't love it as much as Irving. My pizzas lacked sauce. I looked under the pizza, in the box, all over lol then I decided they didn't put any on there.. No bueno. So I was disappointed. I will try again as dine in and see if there's a difference. Cashier wasn't very helpful navigating menu for us 1st time users and we couldn't find the extra charge for gluten free listed on menu anywhere. Felt service was slow and lacking. The food here is excellent and the service in the restaurant is great. We love the fancy soda machine and that the restaurant is BYOB. Huge shoutout to Astrid and her crew !! They let us hold a fundraiser on Tue Aug 22 for Paige who is a 13year old with DIPG a terminal brain stem cancer. The crew worked very hard that night We had soo many people there and I know there was a little bit of a wait due to the amount of people there to support Paige. We ordered 2 pizzas for pickup and they were both wrong. The husbands did the pickup and didn't check before they left, so we called. We figured someone else had gotten our order so we wanted to give the manager a heads up. Oh my gosh...she was so rude!!!! We told her the sauce on the top was missing when we specifically requested it and she said, "ok...soooo, you want me to refund you fifty cents??" And then laughed at my friend!!!! They also said they only carry one kind of crust, when we've ordered from there multiple times and gotten different crusts. Even if that was the case they should have told us that when we ordered so we knew to expect something different. Overall, my friend was genuinely polite on the phone to the manager, since the pizza was nothing what we ordered, and she was rude in return. I typed in "gluten free restaurant" near me and found this adorable pizza shop! I did the lunch special (side salad, small pizza and soda) with the GF nutty chicken....delish! Mediocre pizza and bad service. My coworker and I were in the middle of a long shift and decided to order pizza and drinks from Palio's and have them deliver to our work address. We gave Palio's a call and were put on hold for twelve minutes. Finally a man named Denis picked up the line and asked us what our order was. I was halfway into my first sentence when he told me he needed to put me on hold again, two minutes went by before he came back on the line. This happened four times throughout the call. It took us ten minutes to order because we were continually being put on hold. He asked me an additional question about my order and when I took a fifteen second pause he said, "Look lady, I have other customers so if you don't know what you want now you need to call me back." We finalized our order. We ordered one pizza and one can of sprite and one can of coke. The pizza took an hour and fifteen minutes to arrive and when it did arrive it was cold. The delivery man told us that they were out of coke so he only brought us the sprite and no other drink. However we were charged for both drinks. Overall, terrible service and cold pizza. read more

We drive by Palio all the time and thought we should give it a try. I was very disappointed with my Roma pizza, it was the least flavorful pizza I have ever had in my life! My husband had the king on gluten free crust, he said he's definitely had better gluten free crust than that. I rarely write reviews and I wouldn't have bothered typing this one if it wasn't for the fact I think this restaurant is over priced. We came in last night and ordered our food, it was as always fresh and tasty. When I was looking at my bank account the next day they triple charged us for the food! I called in Nathan immediately took care of it and gave me a free pizza for the trouble Togo, and he even gave me a card for another free pizza! Used to be one of our favorite pizza spots in Keller and Grapevine. Recent visit to Keller was terrible. Tried to call in our order ahead of time and in the the phone they said "why don't you just order when you get here?" Really?!?! Then, discovered they were out of wheat crust and not very apologetic about it. Then got to the restaurant. Good thing I brought a six pack as pizza order took over 40 minutes. When I went to inquire about order status they said "it's been chaotic and pizza is now going in the oven." Really?!??! There were only two other tables of guests in the restaurant at the time. This place is really going down hill. My order was a larger Gracie's, Chicken tenders and a Kids pizza. When I arrived I was given someone else order, which is not a big deal I just took it back. The order they gave me was not the pizza I ordered, so I took it back. The "chicken tenders" were the little dinosaur nuggets you get from the freezer section of Kroger, and they appeared to be microwaved. It was disgusting, needless to say my son wasn't interested.The staff didn't care at all that I came back twice to get the right take out order.
