Went for my wife's birthday and it was a busy Friday night. Had a delayed order for one of the pizza's and Chelsea (the manager) took care of us. Great customer service from her and the main reason I gave them 5 stars vs. 4. Pizza was good and the 5 of us enjoyed our meals. Again, the service from the wait person who brought us our pizza, the response to the late pizza and Chelsea is why I gave them 5 stars. Will definitely be back! read more

Dont let the bad reviews fool you. Ive been in the restaraunt/service industry for a long time and I can tell you the pizza is fantastic and you definetly get what you pay for. If it werent for the fact that they sometimes lack consistency (quality and presentation of food depends on whos working) then Id give it 5 stars. And like most restaraunts in keller they get very busy on friday nights, so be prepared to wait. read more

Really liked this place until last Friday night. Ordered two XL pizzas for take out at the counter and sat down to wait. After 25 min and watching customers who came in after me get their pizzas, I asked the cashier what was going on. I was told they ran out of XL doughs and had to prepare more. (???) Matt, back by the oven flippantly commented "what can I say?". Pizza is good, but not so good I'm willing to take smack talk from an employee while waiting ... Attention management - you really need to get someone else to answer the phone. As another reviewer said, the girl who answers the phone is extremely rude. She sounds like a bored, entitled high-schooler who can't be bothered to take your order. I tried to order a medium pizza for delivery, the girl curtly told me delivery orders had to be $15, so I said fine, I'll get a large instead. Now I had just looked at their menu online which clearly says a large is $14.99, but this girl told me that was wrong and I'd have to get an extra large or be charged extra for a large... Weird, because my parents always order just a large pizza from Palio's with no problems. Then after all that I was told the delivery time would be 45 minutes to an hour. Seriously? At 4:45pm? So I just cancelled the order and don't plan on ordering from here again. I can get better customer service (and pizza, for that matter) at Domino's. I was only ordering Palio's because my mom likes it, but in my opinion the thin crust isn't crispy enough, and the ingredients never taste fresh. read more

First time at Palio's. I have a gluten allergy. It was very good. I had the Hawaiian something gluten free. My husband had the cheeseburger pizza regular crust. Both had a salad. We both enjoyed our food. Atmosphere was pleasant. Decor was nice. Staff friendly. Clean. We will be back. My only disappointment was they only deliver within 5 miles and I live 7. Lol. read more

Me and my girlfriend came into Palio's at 4:45, as soon as we walked in there was a guy and two girls behind the counter none of which greeted us or made us feel welcome. I proceeded to let the gentleman know that we had never dined here before, and he still had nothing to say. We looked over the menu that was sitting on the counter for a few minutes then placed our order. We already had a bad vibe from the place from the get go, but I wasn't going to be so quick to judge until we had received our food. I'll go ahead and mention that the spaghetti and meat sauce we had ordered was sitting on the counter for countless minutes and I was getting frustrated. The guy who brought our order out had no expression whatsoever on his face like he hated his life. Our pizza came out and it was all good, but when I took a bite of spaghetti lets just say it tasted like something my 5 year old niece would have cooked by herself. The noodles were almost turned into mush, and there was barely any sauce at all, the sauce that was on it was like water. This has ruined my whole experience and lets just say I will not be returning to this place, and I'll make sure none of my friends or family do either. read more

I like the Keller store. Pizza is delicious. My problem is with the management and owner. They choose not to participate in the Groupon deals even though other locations do. I talked with the manager today and he was not at all interested in my suggestion of participating. As a matter of fact, he was down right rude. The pizza is great - my son loves it, I love the pizza with nuts and fruits... but DON'T order the pastas, they have been consistently disappointing. Last night I tried the chicken parm and it was awful, nothing like a bowl full of boxed spaghetti and a sliced breaded frozen piece of chicken to ruin your night. Blech. Good pizza and a change of pace from delivery places like dominos etc. pizza is thin crust and they have some different combos that are really tasty!! Try "the king" it was awesome! We also like that they deliver to us! The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because we have called for delivery twice, and they have been "under staffed" and unable to deliver to us as they advertise- not quite as great when you have to go pick it up when you are in the mood for delivery read more

Palios at Grapevine is a 10. Palios at Keller is a 0. I will never again go to the Keller site. We waited 55 minutes and asked about our pizza. We had been told it was cooking...not true. Everyone that came after us had gotten their pizzas. We found out later that it had never been put into the oven. I told the guys making the pizza that I wanted it to go. I just waited and watched it go through the oven. I asked for the manger, but nobody would get him for me because he was working the register. I went to the register and told him they had messed up our order. He said the restaurant got busy....sorry. I told him the Grapevine restaurant was better run. I left with the pizza and will not return. FYI...The pizza is even better at Grapevine...more toppings. I always give it 5 stars... It is my favorite pizza place in North Texas. The Keller restaurant needs a new manager. Go to Grapevine instead of this mismanaged restaurant. read more

This was our first time eating from Palio's and we had it delivered. We ordered the Hawaiian Sunrise and the Meat & Cheese Deluxe. The pizzas were so-so. They were thin crust, which I don't care for. The toppings were good and in proportion with the thin crust. We also ordered Mozzarella sticks and Tiramisu, which were both very disappointing. The Mozzarella sticks tasted like they were store bought and they microwaved them and the middle of the Tiramisu still was frozen. I doubt that we will return. read more

Keller Palio's is ALWAYS out of something when we go---like CHEESE! Or PIZZA DOUGH! WTH?! It's a PIZZA place. Ummm...send someone to the grocery store-- to at least finish the night's business. Their "system" is always down. They overcharge you the "managers special", and if you ask for a receipt...you guessed it....Their systems are "down". It's absolutely the worst run business in Keller....and the only adult ever working there is a polite Hispanic gentleman, that cleans the tables. The whole unorganized staff is made up of minimum wage high school kids that don't know what they are doing 90% of the time. Heck-the business has to be losing money, when you have teenagers doing math with paper and pencils, instead of a working computerized cash register. The food is always amazing. Unfortunately, the customer service was horrible. I called in my order on a Friday night, knowing it would be busy. Arrived and paid for my order. Female cashier didn't bother to check to see if my order was ready, so I stepped to the side and asked if it was ready. She checked the boxes on the oven and stepped toward the back, returned and said no. I waited 15 min and asked the same cashier. She said not ready. I waited another 15 minutes and asked again. She said no. Another person checked the two boxes on the oven (that had been sitting there when I arrived, and the two boxes she checked), and that was my order. The female manager got frustrated with the guy cutting the pizza, but He wasn't at fault. The cashier was not communicating information or properly checking. Too bad, atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, food is delicious. Staff that deals with customers needs to be trained. read more

Pizza is good. Unfortunately the attitudes of some of the management ruins it. They are apparently too busy to handle a question about delivery. . When I went to pick up my pizzas the manager could not even walk over and converse with me. He was rude and talked from across the kitchen. All and all just not very professional when it comes too customer service. Also trying to place an order over the phone is like pulling teeth, the girl that answers cant seem to figure out whats going on and cant hardly get an order right. If you can get past the rude call takers and managers that are just as bad you will get a good pizza. read more

We've eaten at the restaurant and gotten takeout several times, and the food is always good. Great salads and the kids menu is awesome - the kids mac and cheese is fabulous and should be on the adult menu. Pizzas are consistently well made with crispy crust and generous toppings. I have order pizza from here for delivery close to 5 times in the last 2 months and each time they deliver to my house. This time I decide to use their app to order the pizza for my family. After waiting for almost 2 hours I call the location. They inform me that my house is out of their 5 mile radius for delivery and my order has been voided. Not once did they attempt to contact me to let me know this, not once did I receive an email saying my order was being voided or given the option to pick up my pizza. No communication whatsoever. I even received an email confirmation with an estimated delivery time on it. Explain this to me, how is it that for the last few months you have been able to deliver to me and now you can't? I can tell you once thing, you have lost a loyal customer and I'm going to make sure that everyone I know hears about the way this location runs and to take their business elsewhere. read more

Terrible experience! Went to the Keller location tonight. We ordered a salad, pizza, a large spaghetti, and two kids spaghetti. Received salad and pizza fairly quickly. We finished the entire pizza and it was a least 20 minutes before we received the spaghetti plates we ordered. The spaghetti was cold and the large spaghetti had less food than the kids portion (kids bowls were full). The "large" spaghetti had maybe 3/4 of an inch of paste covering the bowl (maybe 20-25% of the volume of the bowl). I said something to the person who brought it, asking "is this really $9 worth of pasta?" They said they were not in charge of portions. But they at least got the manager. I asked the manager the same question. She didn't apologize or recognize the issue, she just rudely said "well I will just refund your money." I told her that was not necessary. My family has always enjoyed Palio's, but that type of service is unacceptable, especially from a "manager". Pizza is great, but service and employees are terrible. "A former customer" read more

This pizza is by far the best pizza I've had in a while, definitely something to try out if you're a foodie like me! My children absolutely love their spaghetti with meat sauce. Daisy is such a wonderful manager, she always loves to interact with my kids and it's so welcoming! The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because on a couple of occasions I've been in there and a tall, skinny young man with black hair, ignored us when we walked in and said "she'll get you, I'm busy and about to be off the clock". He was not busy, he continued to stand there while the girl was very busy with her own orders. I love the pizza but that young man is just rude, I wish I knew when he was not working so I could get my food ordered and by on my way. He might be a manger by the way he spoke to the other employees, but from what I've seen and experienced with him. Someone should talk to him or he shouldn't be working there if it is an issue to do his job. read more

I really do love Palio's pizza! My family would go to the Colleyville location before this one close to home opened up. This has become a Sunday night tradition to order pizza from here. I love their crunchy thin crust and the pizza is always consistently good. Depending on how hungry we are we either get a medium or a large to share between two people (an extra large if it is more than two). Everyone in my family orders their pizza different but we have never had anything bad and they always get our order right. We typically have left overs but they reheat well so that is always a nice lunch the next day. I have to get their garden or greek salad every time I go here. I also really like that it is BYOB which is fun for date night. My absolute favorite thing is their lunch special! For 7.99 you get a small pizza (or calzone), side salad, and a drink. Such a great deal! This is our go to pizza place for pick up. read more

This place is only OK. The person working the register wasn't clear if we order first or sit down first. We sat down and looked at the menu then went to order, the register worker isn't very friendly and felt like a bother to them. Didn't give my friend a water cup until she had to go back and ask. Usually that feels like common sense to give someone a watercup unless they get a drink? Then we got our food and it was pretty good, you can definetly tell they are fresher ingredients than most places. Would frequent this place more often if it wasn't so expensive. Not worth the amount of money, would rather just go to ifratelli's instead where the ingredients are just as fresh, the service is friendly, and its a better price. Just a small pizza with a few toppings is $10+??? And i thought pie five was expensive. A medium pizza starts at $10 and then its a little over a dollar for every topping which is crazy.
