We were totally disappointed in the cleanliness of this establishment.

We were totally disappointed in the cleanliness of this establishment. I don't have to say much here are the pictures to prove it. Blood was on the paper towel holder, there was red punch spill and she spilled and splattered all over by the toilet, the beds and Floors have not been cleaned as you can see the dust and and as one of the people want to stand up to get up on the top bunk there was a big nail as you can see sticking out that could have smashed their hand. Not to mention the big globes of hair that was in the showers. Sadly we sent all of this information over to the managers and the coordinators and no one has even responded! I guess no response means I'm guilty and I'll do better!

This is the second year coming to this retreat and we have to say it's a nice location. We have mixed feelings but I hope next year we get improvements. Please read the review for the reason of the 3 . Niko was in our first retreat manager and we loved him . He helped us in every way possible to make our women retreat smooth .We came in 2020 and the rooms where well taken care off from beginning to end . He was fast and efficient in all our emails and walk thru . He was polite and so charming . If this year was the same we would of have them a 5x stars. This year 2022 we had Tyler and Carlos who to start off didn't have great communication. They took for ever to answer our emails and to give us communication towards our event . I assume we had all our request we email and talked . But when we arrived we had the wrong rooms we requested and a lot of missing services paid and talked about. Tyler was very indifferent to our needs and rude. He didn't have any care in our needs .Thank god niko came and helped us after me and my sister and law were a bit upset . The food was decent and had alot of choices. They had in the morning pancake's and French toast . I'm the afternoon they had tacos and pasta . The rooms this year were not serviced and not clean when we arrive . Beside that the deluxe rooms are very nice and up to date . Also there is a lot of beautiful nature . We saw a deer and at night we get to see the stars Also ,the fire pit location we had was beautiful . Thank you again niko for our fire pit and s'mores . Lastly the service men took for ever this year to turn on the tv in our meeting room and we had a hard time for our meeting . Even though we didn't have a great experience this year I hope next year we do . But if you want a great experience ask for niko

Came here as a chaperone for a music retreat in January with 6-9th grades. Everyone had a great time with their ensemble and made new friends with good food and fun. The staff and facilities were great and the snow fun, s'mores and zip line made it even better..!

    Great place to get centered

Thank you. Great place to get centered We had a great stay and enjoyed our stay. The best

We held our church retreat with 90 participants over the Thanksgiving weekend. The food was excellent, the cabins were immaculate, and we relished the campfire at night. The meeting rooms accommodated our three groups well. Overall, we had a very positive experience there. Highly recommended.

Great experience at Pali Retreat. The staff was attentive and friendly. The accommodations were nice -- the bunked cabins had cot mattresses that side sleepers weren't big fans of, but the private rooms were great! The meeting space was prepared for us when we got there and was great for our needs. Tons of activities here and the food is pretty good (able to accommodate dietary restrictions well) and the coffee was better than I expected.

Great camp facility that can facilitate multiple large groups, for all ages, for all seasons! This facility is surrounded by breathtaking view of the mountain. There are several mid to large group gathering areas with several different types of cabins. Each cabins have multiple toilets, sinks and showers! Average of one stall for 4 people. Bear's Den meeting room has an amazing view of the mountain - one entire side of the wall can be opened up like a garage door! There are numerous fun activities available - zip line, pool, track and hike the beautiful mountain, rock climbing, paintball, high rope... etc but can be seasonal. Food is great and they accommodate different food allergies! How thoughtful!!! They always have salads, fruits, desserts and drinking fountain for that all you can drink sodas. It would be nice to stagger the groups during meal time to cut down the line... Overall great experience!

Can you use a Compound bow at the targets or is just just traditional archery?

I think it's just traditional! I'd double check with staff if they can make acceptions.

We loved the nature hike we had "Jelly" (a couple of our groups got rained out-obviously to no fault of the camp), we enjoyed archery, paint ball sling shots with "Stitch", painting wood necklaces, drama circle, and an amphitheater with breathtaking views of the the sunset. We loved our hike to the lake for canoeing. I too thought the pool was chilly but it was clean! Their swim rules seemed to be really intense to me. "No jumping off the edge of the pool" hmmm ok. In my opinion overly cautious. However, the Rock wall was a blast, equipment was in good condition. Hatchet throwing was hard, but fun. I wish the hatchets were sharp enough to grab the wood. It was rare anyone stuck one into the log rounds. Some combination of wood being too hard or axes not balanced correctly made that activity a struggle. We enjoyed trying. The team building activities were thoughtful and stretched our girls as individuals and forced team unity. Maybe my favorite part of all of camp. They lost a star for food quality and portions but the staff was always in good spirit. I also wish our group had the entire cafeteria to ourselves as we often were low on space at tables and often went outside as our designated seating was full. But the food was served on time and they got a lot of people food in timely fashion. They were organized. Our cabins were dry when it rained and i felt safe from the elements and wildlife that can live nearby. Some mattresses were thicker than others. I was comfortable enough for a week of camping. The plumbing struggled at times but not sure that was the camps fault or the 85 GIRLS who MAY have not disposed of things properly. Lol Overall I think with some retraining on camp cooking and a minor tweak here and there this would be a 5 star camp. The location was beautiful. The staff was friendly. The activities were super fun!

Unforgettable Family Adventure with Happy Trails Rental!…read more We recently took our family to Palm Springs for a fun weekend filled with stargazing, hiking, and off-roading--and hands down, the highlight of the entire trip was our experience with Happy Trails Rental. We rented two side-by-sides (one 4-seater and one 2-seater) and chose the Scavenger Hunt, which was perfect since we had my younger nephew with us. From start to finish, Ben and Tony were absolutely fantastic--extremely helpful, communicative, and transparent every step of the way. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free, which allowed us to focus on having fun as a family. They even provided a cooler for us to pack lunch, and the navigation was pre-mapped with clear waypoints, making it easy to explore without worrying about getting lost. We stopped multiple times along the way to take pictures, enjoy the scenery, and just soak in the experience. The entire time, my family was smiling from ear to ear. Ben and Tony are true professionals, and it really shows in how well they run their business and take care of their customers. If you're looking to spend a few unforgettable hours outdoors with your family, I can't recommend Happy Trails Rental enough. We will absolutely be back!

Both were very clean and fun. It's so nice that Running Springs is easy to get to compared to Big Bear which you'd have to drive through quite a bit of windy road (I get motion sickness). I usually have a hard time eating at retreats (y'know...the processed Cisco stuff they serve in cafeterias that's so unappetizing and makes you gassy) but these were homemade food and delicious!!!
