My wife had a fantastic time renting with Happy Trails. The ATVs were top notch, could handle any terrain and my favorite feature was the music automatically increasing as we picked up speed. Before we arrived, Ben called us up and offered to reschedule or provide a refund as the day was windy. It was our last day and so we were keen to complete the ride. When we arrived he gave us detailed instructions that were clear and concise - no fluff. Importantly, as we'd never ridden ATVs before, he made us feel safe and comfortable with the whole experience. He also upgraded us to a 4-seater as they had more power and handled better. Ben is also an incredibly nice person. It had gotten a little colder and so he offered us spare jackets. He also gave me a case to put my glasses as they might crack with the bumpy road. Tony, is assistant, also kindly held onto my wife's phone after she left it in the car. My son found out my husband use to off road before we had kids and really wanted to experience a day in the desert with dad . We don't have equipment anymore for this and so I started searching for somewhere that could help us make this day happen for my sons bday. The GPS system was easy to follow even for first timers, the Polaris RZR was well maintained and quick, luckily with no speed limit as well! These guys are AWESOME! Super easy setup and orientation and I love the GPS system, which allows for you to drive through the trail at your own pace without any guide - which we loved. We really enjoyed being able to stop at cool spots and have lunch on our own terms! I'm embarassed to admit, but I ended up flipping one of the 4x4's and they were super fast to come out and help us get it flipped back over and driveable again. He totally had the chance to charge me and arm and a leg for the damage, but ended up only charging me for the bare minimum. Very much deserve a 5-star rating! read more

"They tryna catch me ridin' dirty" Ben and his team are running a 5 star operation out here in Lucerne Valley! So we came out to surprise my pahtnah for his 40th birthday adventure and we had an absolutely ballerific time! We rented the 2022 Polaris Razor 4 seaters and ripped out on the 42 mile self-guided tour. I highly recommend the self guided tour as it allows you time to stop and have lunch, explore, or use the restroom. There is one restroom on the trail but be prepared, it's not pretty. Make sure you bring your own supplies/wet wipes just in case someone needs to use it. The cool thing about these rides is that they have navigation that will help you guide yourself along the tour. Although there isn't a distinct single trail through the 42 mile loop, you will make it through just fine with the gps. You will get dusty as shit though so be prepared. I'm talking dust everywhere so be prepared to shower as soon as you get back home. There are some cool spots to chill and have lunch on your ride so be sure to bring a cooler full of drinks and grub. The vehicles do have Bluetooth and charging ports so you can bump your tunes and charge your electronic devices. This is a can't miss trip so what are you waiting for. Saddle up and roll out! Came here with a group of friends for a bachelor party, and what a blast this was! Ben and Tony greeted us like we were friends. They took their time explaining everything and even walked us through syncing our phone to Bluetooth for the radio. The Quads were in great condition, brand new 2025 models, and were super comfortable. The route charted out on the GPS was a lot of fun and had a bunch of variety with periods of rough rocky road mixed with enough flat straight moments to really kick the speed up. It also took us through various elevations with moments of feeling like you're riding on the edge of a drop off overlooking an amazing view. And they charted some great sight-seeing moments like a giant mammoth statue and an old boat abandoned in the desert. What I liked the most was how laid back the whole experience was from start to finish. Ben told us to take our time, we didn't have a hard deadline we had to be back by. You could really tell that Ben and Tony love what they do and want to share the fun and excitement with everyone who books with them. Loved our experience! It was our first time going off-roading and Ben, Bennet and Tony were all amazing at making us feel safe and confident on our self-guided tour. They were all very personable and had great knowledge of the area. I'm sure a guided tour by any of them would take you to all sorts of hidden treasures and adventures. The vehicles are top of the line Polaris ATVs. We felt very safe driving them and felt confident that they could take a beating from the terrain. We brought a light lunch with us and took all the breaks we needed to get through the 60 miles. We didn't mind the higher price tag compared to "tourist trap" atv adventures along the side of the highway. At the end of our ride we wanted more and felt the price reflected the experience we got to have. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get some outdoor time and adrenaline. 6/5 Stars I came with my groomsmen for a bachelor party and Ben & Co. were very friendly with us and answered all of our questions. Out in the desert we all felt free to explore around the GPS trail that they supplied and stopped leisurely at spots we felt were interesting. We even got the chance to stop to watch the sunset and had a pair of recently-released dogs come for a visit (and for some water). They went above & beyond to ensure we had a safe and memorable time ( they supplied us with additional water just in case and added in a bonus geocache location for us). And quite memorable it was. A pair of our groomsmen ended up getting a flat on one of the vehicles (which Ben & Co. replaced). Also, one of the employees noticed that our rental jeep had a flat.
