The gentleman who helped me was SO NICE and INFORMATIVE. Despite being quite busy, he was quick and efficient and completed my boot fitting in under 20min. I wish I could remember his name! Also, I feel like sometimes experienced skiers/snowboarders can be a little impatient with newcomers, but this was absolutely not the case here. Everyone was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Plus, the quality of goods sold here is much higher than at other places. If you're new to snow sports or an aficionado, I couldn't recommend this place more. While I was waiting, a sales rep came in and she chose to prioritize meeting with the rep instead of helping me, even though she knew I was there and waiting. After standing around with no acknowledgment or update, I decided to leave. It was clear that helping a paying customer wasn't the priority. I ended up going to another ski shop down the street where I received great service and spent about $1,800. If you're serious about buying skis, you may want to consider a shop that values its customers' time.

Eddie quoted me $15 and put it right up in the rack while we waited. He ended up spending way longer than I'm sure he had expected to because a few other links were messed up. In the end, he fixed it and as he was taking the bike off the rack he saw the handlebars were a little loose. Without thinking twice he loosened up the goose neck, made a few adjustments and then tightened everything up. Then he took n the bike over to the air and made sure the tire pressures were right. I told him to charge me more than the $15 he quoted, but he refused. These guys and gals at AV bikes are great. They know what they're doing and treat you like a customer should be treated. They've earned my business and I will send anyone who asks for a good bike shop their way.

All I needed was to exchange some inexpensive tubes for my service Dogs trailer. The were 20 dollars, they went flat after one use. When I originally purchased them, she sold me the wrong size, so I had to buy larger tires. They wrote me a receipt on the back of a piece of register paper, not sure why. I'm guessing that they were the crap tubes that they were just trying to get rid of. She explained, "they are thorn resistant, not thorn proof". That said, I just wanted better tubes for his trailer. I asked her if she would just credit me 20 towards purchasing a better inner tube product from there store, she said no ! I asked her if she was okay with losing a good customer over 20 dollars and stated that bad reviews can hurt a business. I have had jobs in my life, and reputation is everything !!! For lunch we made a stop at Sherman's Deli which shouldn't be missed. Upon starting our 6 mile ride back to the hotel, we discovered that one of our bikes had a rear flat tire. It's always the rear, isn't it? What could be harder to change than a rear flat on a 65 lb e-bike, assuming I had brought a wrench. I could have ridden back solo, brought back the car and bike rack, picked up the broken bike and then drove back to the hotel. But, then we'd still have a bike with a flat with a few more days left in our trip. (sigh)... Hoping for the best, we did a Google search for bike shops in the area. That's when we found BIKE Palm Springs nearby. They were a bike rental shop, but maybe they'd help us. I rode the working bike over to BIKE PS and asked, and they said "no problem"! About 20 minutes later, Tony had put in a new heavy duty up-graded tube, replacing our thin standard tube that wouldn't hold up to the 'goat heads' that can be found on the trail, and had us ready to go again. We had some time to look their shop over while we waited - great helpful staff, clean shop, and nice well-maintained RAD and Aventon E-bikes. You couldn't ask for much more, we've ridden both in the past and liked them. So a big thank you to Tony and the rest of the staff that helped us at BIKE Palm Springs. You saved our day!
