Great climbing spot. Lots of broken glass and sometimes some serious dick heads at the crag.

It's nice to have a gym so close by that I can just go for some climbs for an hour any time I want…read more Although this place is located in an odd area, there's so many friendly climbers on a daily basis, I don't worry about my car in the lot. Coming into the parking lot, I'd say be careful driving past the gate; the gate isn't secured properly to the cement on the floor, so it pops up, making it hazardous for your tires. The workers here are very chill, just like any other gym, though climbers are very chill in general. They're very helpful and friendly if you ever need them. They keep the gym very clean and the bathrooms well stocked. They are also always quick to notice you and provide support if needed. The routes here are a range of difficulties. The basic routes here feel slightly more difficult than other gyms, helping you build your core. They reset the walls on a weekly basis, which encourages you to come back. On the weekdays, it's ridiculously packed where people don't wait their turn in the walls. Lots of newcomers and people who come after work. If you like climbing freely, wait for weekends in the evenings!

This climbing gym is absolutely one of the down-to-earth places for recreational bouldering. It has…read morea wonderful community, staff, and bouldering set-ups. The prices are fairly high for a gym membership, but they have great deals that occur during holidays and selective occasions which are an opportunity to bring a friend or group once in a while. I've made fond memories climbing with friends, time after work by myself with earphones, or by randomly engaging conversation and having a friendly conversation - exploring the depth of indoor climbing and finding out how to solve different climb routes makes this hobby an activity worth trying. (be ready to rip some finger skin if you're starting out) If you want to get into indoor climbing, this is a recommended place to start. The highlight I love about this place is the staff, they for sure work hard to keeping the place clean, keen on accommodation, and are happy to chat regarding information and questions. Shout out to Drake!

Visited Hangar 18 on a weekend in December 2025 with a group of total beginners. Tyler led our…read moreorientation and made it fun, clear, and not intimidating at all. They offer both top-rope climbing and bouldering, and both require an orientation--which I appreciated as a first-timer. I was surprised by how many people were bouldering, from novices to very experienced climbers. There's also a small gym with basic equipment. Overall, it was a fun, spontaneous activity for a random free day--kind of like bowling, but more physical and engaging. Definitely requires some strength and problem-solving. Would absolutely come back!

Well, the 30 min class turned out to be only a 5 min introduction to the rules of the rock climbing place and the only technique taught was how to fall. The instructor hastily dismissed the kids and said "Have fun". That was basically it. i thought the class would cover more bouldering techniques. I have just pulled up the class description (see pic). Had I seen this while we were there, I would've spoken to a manager about this. This is not right at all. The instructor only spent 5 min with our kids. There was only so much the girls could do on their own with that inadequate 5 minute "lesson". It could have been a fun playdate if they were given more instructions so they could've done more than climbing up 3-4 steps on just the 2 easy routes. 1 star and not likely to return. You did not deliver what was promised and wasted our time and 25 bucks each. Poor business practice. Thumbs down.
