Best climbing gym around! This is the gym where I started climbing and the route setting, coaches, owners, and staff are all the best. Only negative is that the music can get pretty harsh/inappropriate at times. But if you have kids and don't feel comfortable with what's playing the staff is super friendly and accommodating :). Definitely recommend visiting if you get the chance!

We were looking for a gym to learn how to boulder and Flowstone has been great since they are bouldering-only (no rope climbing). The employees are friendly and helped us get started picking climbing shoes. They change out the routes frequently. I'd say the average route changes every 2-3 weeks. The route difficulties are marked in ranges (v0-v2, v2-v3, etc). Their cost model is somewhat complicated - they have a first time price so you can try it out. After that they have one-time passes and 10-use passes. From there they have two types of memberships: renewing and not renewing. The renewing one has an initiation fee but it can be waived for students. So yeah, kinda complicated but we had an employee talk us through the best option for us One note is that this gym can get crowded during peak time so you might have to wait your turn for the more popular routes.

It was my third time at this gym and I loved it!! The routes are set up more comp style than Hangar 18 gyms that I normally frequent. I really like that they do their grading with the color scheme that indicate a general range of difficulty (I stick to the white and green dots meaning V0-V2) and I feel like overall there is a huge variety of climbs!! My bf and my bestie are more V6-V8 climbers but they have enough to keep all of us occupied. Their bathrooms are really clean and I know they vacuum the pads at night keeping it as clean as possible. They have a really good ventilation system with giant fans and open doors allowing fresh air to come in. It might not be important to you but I like it that it doesn't smell like sweaty feet in there lol It's $20 for a day pass but you can use it the entire day. So if you want to go and get lunch and come back, it's still available to you. They have two moon boards, several hang boards, and weights if you're just in the mood to train!! Enjoy!!

I first started climbing in July this year. Since then, my husband and I decided to get a couple's membership. Since I was a student, I had the opportunity to get the initiation fee waived which is nice. Also, keep in mind that if you know you won't be around that month, you can pay $10 to maintain the membership but not go that month. They change at least one of the walls approximately once a week so there's always new options. Follow them on Instagram to stay up to date on when they change the walls! When I peeked at the thermostat, the temperature said 91 so just keep in mind that it isn't kept super cool while climbing!

This is an amazing space to climb in. I love how big and open the layout of the building is. There are climbing routes for everyone. It's all Boulder with a small gym and a yoga room. I had such an amazing experience here and I plan to come back for more. The front desk peoples are always smiling and they explain everything thoroughly. I wish this could be my main climbing gym but I live elsewhere. I can't wait to come back and fun fun on another weekend. They have chalk bags, chalk, stickers, books, clothings, and Guayaki for you to treat yourself with when you step inside. Thank you for my new chalk bag, the laughs, smiles and falls! GO CHECK IT OUT

Favorite climbing and yoga spot! As a new climber the people and staff create a welcoming community. I even enjoy doing homework and when I need a break I go for a climb. I enjoy meeting friends here and getting to know new people. I recommend Elisa's class for yoga if you're a beginner to yoga!

My boys love this place, who wouldn't love this place? We stumble upon this gym because of the desire to find a climbing area. Joel was courteous and informative. We got monthly membership and we can come as much as we want. This is great for anyone who wants to stay fit and have fun. THere's a lot of different categories and theirs a spot for beginners and newbies. Don't be intimidated, just come and try it out. We can't stop coming back. They are open 9 am-10 pm but check out their times because it might change. They also have rentals for shoes and a training area for those who want to improve their strength.

What is the age limit for kids to try bouldering?

May i com here as a beginner and how much would that cost me. I been very interested on starting this hobby but i keep second guessing as im friendly but i dont like being around huge groups and crowds which days and hours are the least busy?

Hey! For first time visit its $18 + 5 dollars to rent shoes! Its a little intimidating at first but definitely lots of fun! During week days around 10-2 pm theres few people, and everyone is super friendly and likes to help out!

Hi there 🤗 Do you guys have auto belay systems? Thanks In advance.

Hi! We are a bouldering-only gym so no need for auto belays. We have dual-density flooring from Flash Flooring throughout the whole building.

After having been to most of the climbing gyms in LA and the IE, this is the best bouldering gym I've been to.

In my confirmation email, the only instruction was to bring my ID, which I reasonably assumed was for identity verification or account setup. However, when I arrived, the front desk associate (Viviana) asked about the address on my ID and, after I explained that I had just moved, told me I would need to go to a different location based on the address listed. I want to be clear--I completely understand if there is a policy requiring proof of local residency for a free trial. That's not the issue. The issue is that this requirement was not communicated beforehand, and more importantly, the way it was handled in person was extremely unprofessional. Viviana had a noticeably dismissive and unfriendly attitude from the start. When I tried to clarify my situation, she spoke over me and did not make any effort to provide clear or respectful communication. After going back and forth, she eventually offered to check with a manager. I agreed and asked her to do so, and when she returned, she said I could work out for the day--but the delivery still felt cold and unwelcoming. I also requested a tour, which she provided very briefly and with minimal effort. She pointed vaguely at different areas without explanation, and I ultimately had to walk the facility on my own to understand what was available. It's unfortunate because the gym itself is great and the other staff members I encountered were kind and welcoming. I still plan on joining because of the location and amenities, but this experience nearly cost you a new member. As a business owner with over 10 years in customer service, I know how much front desk interactions matter--they set the tone for the entire brand. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because the service I received from Viviana does not reflect the quality of the facility.

On Monday morning, I visited the EOS in Lake Elsinore and had a pretty shady experience with the sales rep there. For context, I've been a member of UFC Gym since 2018, including when they first opened in Rancho Cucamonga, and one of my favorite features is the cryo chamber. When the rep in Lake Elsinore heard that cryo is what attracts me to a gym, he immediately told me they had it. That alone had me reaching for my wallet. I asked whether it was nitrogen-based or a refrigerated unit and told him I wanted to go see it. I was excited. Instead of showing me anything, he insisted we had to stay up front. He said he wasn't allowed to show me the gym floor or any of the equipment he was talking about -- even though that's literally his job -- and they had someone at the front desk who could've covered him. He kept pushing a 30-minute presentation and wanted me to sign before seeing anything. His attitude and pressure felt completely off, so I decided to walk out. Today, while trying to sign up online, I ran into issues and ended up calling the Redlands location, where I got connected with Isaiah. He was honest, helpful, and straightforward. He also clarified that they don't have a cryo chamber -- only a "cryo lounge," which is nowhere near the same thing. If I had trusted that salesman in Lake Elsinore, I would've been locked into a contract based on false information. Isaiah is truly the man, and I'm grateful he took the time to give me the real details. When I get a chance, I'll go check out the gym for myself and see if it's the right fit.

At the time, our income was low, but the Y offered scholarships, which made it possible for us to join. We received a 50% scholarship, and it truly was a blessing. It gave me time to work out, take classes, and just have a little "me time" while my baby was safe and cared for. Now that my son is in preschool, I have the flexibility to come at any time, and I love that freedom. The childcare hours used to be limited to mornings (around 8 to 12) and a bit in the afternoon (around 3:30), but now I just come whenever I can. I usually do my own workouts since the group class times don't always fit my schedule, but there's such a great variety, swimming, tap, pilates, fusion, and so much more. Another thing I love is the sense of community. I often see friends from church here, and it feels like an extension of that family atmosphere. The staff is generally friendly, though a few could be a bit more personable, but overall, they're helpful and kind. For the value, variety, and community, the YMCA has been such a big part of my life these past few years. I'm so grateful for it, and I can honestly say, I love the Y!
