Just got back from our ATV trail riding in Angeles Forest. It was Amazing! Highly recommend! Our guide Kevin was terrific! The safety equipment provided is excellent. Even paper ski masks to help keep out the dust! That was a very nice and unexpected touch. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews about getting the waivers done. But it's not hard. I've worked in IT help desks for years so I know some people are just not good with a computer. That's fine. Just read the instructions carefully and you'll get thru. Or just get help from a teenager. :-) To get to this location they give you very good directions. If you follow them you'll have no issues. It's actually very easy! But GPS is not great for the less traveled roads in the mountains going to a place that doesn't really have a street address. We will be going back soon! Hopefully for 2 hours next time! read more

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY -- TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE We booked a mountain ATV ride with Enjoy the Mountain ATV in July 2026, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The first red flag was that the company did not provide a phone number, making it difficult to get help or clarification when we needed it. We followed their directions exactly and arrived 30 minutes early. We parked in the designated lot as instructed by the person at the gate, but our guide never came to meet us. We eventually had to drive into the park ourselves and locate the guide, who was parked on the side of the road. There was no clear signage identifying the company or where customers were supposed to check in. Once we finally found the guide, the intake process took approximately 40 minutes. After all of that, we paid approximately $700 for a ride that lasted only about 20 minutes. We were also promised pictures from the experience, but no pictures were ever provided. Lucky I took my own before riding. What made the experience even worse was the customer service afterward. Rather than taking responsibility for the poor communication, unclear instructions, lack of signage, and failure to provide what was promised, the company provided little to no accountability. For the amount of money we spent, this was absolutely not the experience we expected. Poor communication, poor organization, inadequate customer service, and failure to deliver what was promised. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company and would strongly encourage others to consider other ATV companies before booking. read more

What a great experience we had! the guide was amazing we got there early as they asked to check in and get the equipment fitted properly. tour was beautiful and i highly recommend coming to the see the property the equipment was very well maintained and as long as you follow the rules there weren't any problems at all! We only got like 20 minutes of ride time, after spending a bunch of time getting waivers and getting the run down. I know it's 2021, but simple paper waivers would suffice. My family and I had a horrible experience with this company. We rented 2 ATV's and a side-by-side car. The check in process was smooth and our guide was very nice. But the issue was when we were halfway into our 1-hour slot. 30 mintues in, the side-by-side car got a flat tire. We had to stop moving and the guide tried to replace the tire for 20 minutes. He said he couldn't so he himself drove back to the office/check-in location and came back with another side-by-side car so the rest of our group wouldn't be stranded. We all headed back and said we wouldn't get the rest of our ride time. He asked us how we got the flat tire and we said we didn't know (other than riding over rocks and grass obviously). He asked us if we went off trail and we said yes, because we were following him OFF TRAIL. He said the flat tire was our fault and that we would have to pay for it. I later received an email from whoever manages damages and they charged me around $250 to replace the flat tire. So we didn't get our appropriate ride time, we were stranded in the hot sun for 20 minutes, and we had to pay for a flat tire (NO OTHER DAMAGES DONE TO THE VEHICLE). I politely emailed back and explained the situation and they rudely responded saying that nothing can be done. We drove an hour and a half to get to this place, paid around $450 for a 1 hour ride time AND TIPPED the guide in advanced... to get a 30 minute ride and ended up paying for a flat tire that was caused by a seemingly off-road mishap when we were following our guide. Maybe if they maintained their equipment a little better or just led us through nicely paved asphalt lol, this would have never happened. Customer service was horrible and the way the handled the issue left us speechless. read more

Pretty damn amazing. Read the instructions carefully -- especially being there 20 min early and taking an SUV or a truck up there (the road is SUPER rocky). I came in a sour mood because of the rocky road (we drove in a low car ) but left so excited and invigorated! Will be coming back! As first time riders, we had a lot of fun. The guide was very nice. We visited the LA national Forrest site. The ride to the meetup point isn't paved and is very bumpy. You will be going up a very rocky path with steep drop off areas so be prepared for a bumpy climb in the car. I may not have booked the tour if I had known this. I'm not a fan of driving on unpaved roads with steep drop offs. (I didn't see it mentioned in their FAQ site). Wear long pants because the ATV will get hot around your legs if you have in shorts. The GPS coordinates are on point but once we got on the mountain, there are no signs leading you to the ATV site. Look left and you will see a flat area with possibly a large trailer, people and ATV's. That's it. Enjoy the tour. BTW the toilet areas are filthy, so if you are a female, be prepared to find a private bush if you must go to the restroom. read more

Outrageously expensive for what the "experience" is. I have no idea who would give this company above a 1 star. If you are 5 minutes late, expect to only have about 25 minutes of riding time because this company does not allow for grace periods and it will cut into your time without even communication or speediness from the guid informing you to hurry or make the onboarding process faster. This feels like an absolute churn and burn scam with no customer service. Anyways, if you're wanting to burn your cash, book here and if you don't, find another company to ride with. read more

We had a HORRIBLE experience!! For my sons 18th birthday, we decided to spend the week at Big Bear. One of the activity on our list was ATV/Dirt Bike Riding. I booked my reservation about a month in advance and all was going well. Upon arriving we (3 of us) were greeted by one of their staff members and we started to ho over paperwork provide ID's, credit card information and the like. After going over how to operate the ATV it was now time for the test lap and off to our adventure at least thats what I thought. Seeing that my son and I were beginners to ATV riding and my boyfriend was advance, the tour guide placed us in order with her leading, me and my son in the middle and my boyfriend trailing so off er go to take our test lap. Upon completing the test lap the Manager which we never met or know was there aggressively road his bike towards my boyfriend then jumped off and charged for him while the bike was in motion turned off the bike and started screaming. My boyfriend was completely thrown off as to why anyone would approach him like that because the manager was overly aggressive rude and confrontational. I asked what are you doing and what did he do? The manager said you need to follow the rules. We said what rule was broken? Now imagine that my boyfriend has mire than 20 years experience in riding dirt bikes/ATV. The manager never gave a clear answer to our question but continued to charge forward at my boyfriend being confrontational. This behavior lead into almost a physical altercation. The manger wouldn't stop being aggressive when I ask him to stop please my son asked him to stop. He was rude to me and in my face when I asked what did my boyfriend do wrong so much that my boyfriend had to intervene and he never stopped being aggressive towards me or my boyfriend. My boyfriend threatened to call the police and we demanded a refund immediately of which they didn't want to provide. I would say beware!! There was no need to run up on my boyfriend then me in a confrontational manner. I can't imaging what tule was broken as we never left the parking area. We all were in a line and my boyfriend was working with the tour guide because we were newbies and it made sense for me my boyfriend to be in the back. The tour guide even said she placed him there so he could help watch out from behind. Wr don't recommend this place and I'm currently looking to write a formal complaint. This Manager was aggressive to a me a women. He never said what rules were broken if any at all. He continued to be combative not only with me and my boyfriend but with my 18 year old son. From the looks for the owners response professionalism and approaching the situation without negativity doesn't matter. There were no safe risks we never even left the main ground. Honestly, I feel that is was pure racism towards my family and I better get all my money refunded. I will not only post my complaint here and anywhere else that I can. This Manager should be fired. For my bf's most recent birthday, we decided to go quading as his main birthday activity. We were originally gonna rent from a place in Palm Springs, but settled on Enjoy the Mountain since he's been wanting to head up to Lake Arrowhead for awhile. I called in on Sunday and made an appointment for that same Tuesday. Tiffany was super helpful and patient with answering all my questions on the rental deals they had. We ended up booking a two quads for a 2 hour ride for $169 each and we even got a free guide complimentary of a November promotion they were having. The rental included the quads, helmet, gloves, and protective eyewear. They drive you up to the trails and your time doesn't start till you start riding. Because we went on a random weekday, we literally had all the trails to ourselves and it was a pretty amazing experience. All the trails were filled with inclines, declines, and bumps....all of which made for a pretty cool riding experience. I don't know how we would have found our way around if we didn't have that guide, I never once knew where I was the whole time I was out there. Be ready for a pretty physically demanding experience. Our legs and back hurt for the next couple days and we were pretty tired immediately following the activity. I would totally go quading again and Enjoy the Mountain will definitely be on the top of my list for any future adventures. This is definitely an experience I would recommend for anyone looking to do something different. read more

My husband and I are always down for driving ATVs as this was our third ATV experience within the last 1 year, previous being in Oahu, Hawaii and Cabo, Mexico. This is an amazing spot to ATV in california! The family owned rental company makes the experience all the more worthwhile! It started off with Jorge picking us up, and his wife set us up with all of our equipment. We were given a helmet, gloves, goggles, & face masks to protect our face completely from the dirt! The equipment was all top notch and the best we've had! Then they set you up on whatever vehicle you rented, and you're good to go venture off on your own on all the different trails! We came here with my brother and sister in law, who rented the side by side, while me and my husband rented the quad. Both were incredibly fun! Word of caution: if you're sitting in the back of the quad, the seat is raised higher and you hold onto the side handles for support rather than sitting right behind the driver and holding onto them. This makes the experience rather uncomfortable for the person in the back through all the rocks and bumps, but you get used to it! Plus, you build quite the arm muscles from it after. Would definitely recommend this place to others, and would return again! read more

We called the business, and they were able to squeeze both of us in at 2:30 for a 2 hour ATV ride. The website had clear and precise directions on how to get to the location, what to wear, and how to electronically sign the waiver form online so you don't waste your allotted time signing forms. Once we arrived, we were greeted by our guide, JP. We highly recommend JP. He was knowledgable, patient, super friendly, and knew the area well. Jorge was very informative and taught us well how to used all the equipment. As he guided us through the mountain he kept looking out for us to make sure everything was fine. First time riding for myself and my 7 year old. Our instructor Ryan was amazing. He literally spent an hour teaching and explaining so my daughter felt comfortable and wants to come back with Mom! Btw the yelp location is only their maintenance facility. The staging area is remote and 20 mins from the village. Bring your off road vehicle or drive very slowly. The last mile is a rocky dirt road up the hill! So much fun, I will try the other locations as well. read more

Was going to be up in Big Bear during Father's Day weekend. So I purchased the Groupon deal for the side-by-side two hour ATV tour. I have a family of four including young children. We all had a blast! Shane is a great tour guide as he helped with taking pictures, giving great driving advice, clear communication on what to expect during the ride and is all around pleasant person (as with everyone that we encountered at enjoythemountain). Considering this was our first experience it was a great one. They provided the helmet, goggles and gloves. Anyone that wants to take this adventure will have to be prepared to get dusty! Bring a change of clothes or plenty of wipes! All in all this was a great experience and something that my family and I will remember for a long time! Awesome activity to do in lake arrowhead. We came out to lake arrowhead to celebrate my birthday and found enjoy atv. It was my first time riding an atv. We rented quads and singles so everyone got a chance to try riding solo. Unfortunately one of the quads broke down but enjoy atv did give my friends a ride through the mountain and discount for the inconvenience.
