I was craving something sweet while in New Mexico and decided I needed a churro. After looking around I ended up at Oasis Ice Cream Shop. The staff was friendly and very attentive. She made my churro with real care. The shop felt small and cozy with a relaxed vibe. When the shake was finished she handed me a churro milkshake that looked amazing. It tasted even better. I would happily come back again for this treat. read more

This is like an ice cream, drinks, and churro type of an ice cream shop so there's probably something for most people. There are a lot of flavors of ice cream or popsicles. Prices are reasonable. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake. The flavor and consistency of the ice cream were great. It was a thick creamy taste that you would expect from an ice cream with cheesecake. I wasn't expecting to eat strawberries in my ice cream (I thought it was mixed and blended in) so it was a little shocking to bite into a frozen strawberry. The location is located in this food court type building. This place has potential depending on marketing. Best part is the private parking lot. read more

Paletas are AMAZING! SO MANY FLAVORS and GREAT ICE CREAM! I don't recommend the burgers unless you're a REAL CARNIVORE. Comes with 3 kinds of meat &, if you don't want all 3, they charge the same. (Actual hamburger patty is THIN & pretty tasteless.) And I think they make their own chips... beware....I almost broke a tooth on one that was baked HARD (or maybe OLD?) :( BUT I keep coming back for the Paletas! Can't decide on favorite.... avocado, coffee, Pinon, pecan....or..... ;) read more

Cute little ice cream shop in what seems to be a farmers market. They have a pretty big choice of flavors for both their pops and actual icecream, they also offer smoothies, and some hot items like elote, nachos, and hotdogs. The strawberry and white chocolate bar with fruity pebbles was SO good read more

Went in thinking the shop was open but found writing on the glass that the owners were away. I really wish there was a notice that they were closed online rather then driving around trying to find the shop. Looking through the windows they look like they have plenty of options and a great place to sit down and eat a treat. The mall the shop is in is pretty much empty save for some furniture shop and then an Asian cuisine. The bathrooms are locked heads up! Very disappointing but can't blame them, since they look like a great stop. I also noticed their vanilla in a picture online, I can confidently say that would've been the bomb! read more

We dropped by this place for (no joke) a restroom as our afternoon of antiquing did not include public amenities. Post break, we sampled the homemade popsicles which were DELICIOUS. I had the Nutella and strawberry popsicle and my husband had the pineapple popsicle. No complaints at all about the popsicles. They were delicious (my husband warned that all of the flavors were very creamy, which leans themselves more to my flavor than his pineapple). They were very reasonably priced ($3 per) and made for the perfect break. The one star dock was for the service. We ended up waiting close to 10 minutes for the server to finish up something in the back (there were no other customers there) and then to count some change for several minutes before she was free to check us out. I get it when places are busy but when there's no one else there, a 10-15 min wait seems extreme. Overall, good marks. We will check y'all out again in the future. read more

Great ice cream! Definitely a hidden gem, tucked inside a small shopping mall. Easy parking in back.

I wanted to try this place out, it felt very authentic. The nice lady working there didn't speak much English, but we were able to communicate. I ended up getting takis locos, I didn't like it that much. I later found out from a friend that I should have ordered Elote. Also prices were not posted so it was unclear what things costed. Takis locos was 5.42 tax included. read more

I wanted some more flavor options that weren't the boring usual I could get at Baskin Robbins up the road. That was lacking here. And my pinon paleta had like three pine nuts in the entire thing. But the kids were happy to get ice cream after a long day on the trails, so that's at least something. And not like we had a lot of other options. read more

Your in the city different, but you want New "Mexican". Everyone here seems to be "Spanish".? Your feeling ... Chilaquiles..Wait is that a ghost you see through your blurry eyes....No it's the Paleteria Oasis!!! This where everything delicious, is made from scratch. You ask for, like wishing upon a star..."A Coconut Paleta Bar" dipped in heavenly good "Dark Chocolate" ("Full Bar Dip"...is there any other dip worthy of this page? you say "bloody hell no"..:). What a charming place with such a wonderful staff. Our kids had the Churro Sundae and Churro shake and they both really loved them! My husband and I shared mini Churros which were delicious and I also had a Horchata which was also great. I wish we were staying longer in Santa Fe so we could try more of the unique items. Would highly recommend a stop at The Oasis! read more

This place is everything I would have hoped for in an authentic paleteria. Complete with spicy fruit concoctions, strawberries and cream, many flavors of homemade ice cream and fruit popsicles, and many more Mexican/Latino treats and candies. The service was great, quick, and very friendly! La selección de antojitos esta riquísima! Tienen mangonadas, jicamazos, elotes, y mucho mas! Muy buen servicio! read more

We ordered the churro sundae and was far from impressed. The churros were old and burned, not in a loop like as pictured on the menu. The small size of the cup left room for a small amount of ice cream and a lot of whipped cream. What a bummer for $6.99! read more

Although a little hard to find just based on the phone map apps for an out-of-towner like myself, I loved their ice cream. They had exactly what I was craving, a scoop of ice cream with mini-churros and chocolate sauce. I was very satisfied. Price wasn't too bad as well. read more

The place is in a kind of quiet area but it's super cute. Food was yummy too and service was great.

This a quaint shop inside a shopping center that is worth the stop. Not only does it have churro themed ice cream foot high concoctions but it has paletas (popsicles) that you can adorn with chocolates drizzles, sprinkles or many types of nuts. If you have a sweet tooth, stop here immediately. I recommend the mango popsicle. It was to die for. read more

This place is a little hard to find (it's inside a larger building, Design Center, that's in a weirdly located parking lot), but it's worth seeking out. The paletas we got (coffee and coconut) had good flavor and were creamy (no icy chunks). They had drizzle, half dipped, and full dipped options with white, milk, or dark chocolate and maybe a dozen topping options (nuts, Oreos, sprinkles, etc.). Definitely will be back to try out more paleta flavors! read more

So unique to have these paletas, where the popsicles are made with real flavors and are creamy, not icy. We had the arroz con leche and the pecan; we like them plain and not dipped, but would like to try some of the other many items there. read more

Who knew that the humble popsicle could be elevated to such heights? On a hot afternoon my husband and I (on recommendation of Amor from Amores Yarn Studio) decided to try Paleteria Oasis. My husband had the arroz con leche with raisins and it was creamy and sophisticated. I ordered the pecan and it was so buttery. They had so many other flavors that I sorely regret that we were just passing through. Besides popsicles they also serve a variety of unique lunch choices. The woman who waited on us could not have been nicer. Highly, highly recommended! read more

Yummy ice cream flavors and the mini churros with caramel sauce were so good! Great service too!

Nice ice cream selection. We were hoping for a few flavors that other similar establishments have had before such as corn and avocado. However, what they did have was tasty. read more

My family was looking for a fun place to have ice cream in Santa Fe and we found Paleteria Oasis. The paletas were delicious! You can get yours dipped in chocolate and toppings too, if you like. My mom had dark chocolate and pistachios on hers and it was amazing. I tried the papas encueradas, homemade potato chips smothered in cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, jicama, pickled chicharrón, sour cream, and a sweet sour chile sauce. They were so delicious that writing about them makes me want to have them again. The owner was really nice and was happy to answer any questions. I really wish them well. One last hint: The shop can be a little hard to find because it is located inside a shopping arcade, but it's worth the hunt. read more

Super sweet woman and great treats. I hate people who bring ratings down because it was closed and they didn't even try product!!!! Things happen sometimes----- Casey R-- I'm talking to you!!!! Interesting treats and the huge popsicle selection was awesome. We had rice pudding with raisins and Nuez ( pecan). Awesome. Everyone there was so busy enjoying treats mo one was talking. read more

Such a great find in the Design Center! The pops are fresh and the flavors are amazing, and there are literally tons of flavors to choose from, including no sugar options. Some of our favorites so far have been lime, chocolate and Oreo. They can also dip in or drizzle with chocolate. Staff has been super friendly when we visit, making recommendations and kindly handing us extra napkins when thy see our kids. read more

Such a great little hidden gem in Santa Fe! These are authentic Mexican style popsicles made from real fruit and the selection is outstanding! Stopped by their Airport Rd. location and OMG what a delight! We tried two of the crema flavors - pistachio and avocado and two of the water based flavors - strawberry and mango with Chile. The pistachio was delicious and my husband said the avocado was creamy and vanilla-y. Strawberry was icy and not too sweet. Very refreshing! These are not your preservative filled, artificially flavored/colored popsicles but pure natural goodness. The lady behind the counter was very kind as well. Will be going back for sure! read more

I have had a lot of Paletas in Mexico, Oasis Paleteria is a Fabulous find here in Santa Fe. The flavor choices were tremendous and the dipping menu great! I had the Mango with Chile drizzled with chocolate. It was perfect, sweet and spicy and the perfect texture. I highly recommend Oasis Paleteria! read more

My husband and I checked this paleteria out on a whim after we grabbed dinner at one of the restaurants in the Design Center. I was super pleased with the quality and selection of paletas (popsicles) offered. They were all homemade and came in a variety of flavors--way too many to remember them all. There were generally two types of paletas, paletas de agua (water based popsicles), and paletas de crema (cream based popsicles that taste like a mix between a popsicle and an ice cream). We got a few to take a couple home. So far I've tried the water based lime (super refreshing, and just the right balance between sweet and tart), avocado (sounds strange, but trust me, this one is super sumptuous and creamy), and paleta de nuez (pecan cream popsicle). I can't even tell you which one is my favorite because they were all so delicious. There are also other things on the menu that look delicious- aguas frescas, dori and taki nachos, and chicharrones, among other options. The price is on the high side compared to other paleterias I've visited, but I think the quality and location make this slightly higher price worth it. Definitely worth the visit! read more

Delicious!! We had the rootbeer floats with handmade Mexican ice cream popsicles, the fresas con crema, and the papas encueradas. All of it was very tasty, we will definitely be back! read more
