This is like an ice cream, drinks, and churro type of an ice cream shop so there's probably something for most people. There are a lot of flavors of ice cream or popsicles. Prices are reasonable. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake. The flavor and consistency of the ice cream were great. It was a thick creamy taste that you would expect from an ice cream with cheesecake. I wasn't expecting to eat strawberries in my ice cream (I thought it was mixed and blended in) so it was a little shocking to bite into a frozen strawberry. Paletas are AMAZING! SO MANY FLAVORS and GREAT ICE CREAM! I don't recommend the burgers unless you're a REAL CARNIVORE. Comes with 3 kinds of meat &, if you don't want all 3, they charge the same. (Actual hamburger patty is THIN & pretty tasteless.) Went in thinking the shop was open but found writing on the glass that the owners were away. I really wish there was a notice that they were closed online rather then driving around trying to find the shop. Looking through the windows they look like they have plenty of options and a great place to sit down and eat a treat. The mall the shop is in is pretty much empty save for some furniture shop and then an Asian cuisine. The bathrooms are locked heads up! We dropped by this place for (no joke) a restroom as our afternoon of antiquing did not include public amenities. Post break, we sampled the homemade popsicles which were DELICIOUS. I had the Nutella and strawberry popsicle and my husband had the pineapple popsicle. No complaints at all about the popsicles. They were delicious (my husband warned that all of the flavors were very creamy, which leans themselves more to my flavor than his pineapple). They were very reasonably priced ($3 per) and made for the perfect break. The one star dock was for the service. We ended up waiting close to 10 minutes for the server to finish up something in the back (there were no other customers there) and then to count some change for several minutes before she was free to check us out. I get it when places are busy but when there's no one else there, a 10-15 min wait seems extreme. Overall, good marks. We will check y'all out again in the future. read more

I wanted to try this place out, it felt very authentic. The nice lady working there didn't speak much English, but we were able to communicate. I ended up getting takis locos, I didn't like it that much. I later found out from a friend that I should have ordered Elote. Also prices were not posted so it was unclear what things costed. I wanted some more flavor options that weren't the boring usual I could get at Baskin Robbins up the road. That was lacking here. And my pinon paleta had like three pine nuts in the entire thing. We ordered the churro sundae and was far from impressed. The churros were old and burned, not in a loop like as pictured on the menu. The small size of the cup left room for a small amount of ice cream and a lot of whipped cream. What a bummer for $6.99! read more

What a charming place with such a wonderful staff. Our kids had the Churro Sundae and Churro shake and they both really loved them! This place is a little hard to find (it's inside a larger building, Design Center, that's in a weirdly located parking lot), but it's worth seeking out. The paletas we got (coffee and coconut) had good flavor and were creamy (no icy chunks). They had drizzle, half dipped, and full dipped options with white, milk, or dark chocolate and maybe a dozen topping options (nuts, Oreos, sprinkles, etc.). My husband had the arroz con leche with raisins and it was creamy and sophisticated. I ordered the pecan and it was so buttery. My family was looking for a fun place to have ice cream in Santa Fe and we found Paleteria Oasis. The paletas were delicious! You can get yours dipped in chocolate and toppings too, if you like. My mom had dark chocolate and pistachios on hers and it was amazing. I tried the papas encueradas, homemade potato chips smothered in cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, jicama, pickled chicharrón, sour cream, and a sweet sour chile sauce. They were so delicious that writing about them makes me want to have them again. The owner was really nice and was happy to answer any questions. I really wish them well. One last hint: The shop can be a little hard to find because it is located inside a shopping arcade, but it's worth the hunt. read more

Such a great find in the Design Center! The pops are fresh and the flavors are amazing, and there are literally tons of flavors to choose from, including no sugar options. Some of our favorites so far have been lime, chocolate and Oreo. They can also dip in or drizzle with chocolate. Stopped by their Airport Rd. location and OMG what a delight! We tried two of the crema flavors - pistachio and avocado and two of the water based flavors - strawberry and mango with Chile. The pistachio was delicious and my husband said the avocado was creamy and vanilla-y. Strawberry was icy and not too sweet. Very refreshing! These are not your preservative filled, artificially flavored/colored popsicles but pure natural goodness. The lady behind the counter was very kind as well. Will be going back for sure! read more

My husband and I checked this paleteria out on a whim after we grabbed dinner at one of the restaurants in the Design Center. I was super pleased with the quality and selection of paletas (popsicles) offered. They were all homemade and came in a variety of flavors--way too many to remember them all. There were generally two types of paletas, paletas de agua (water based popsicles), and paletas de crema (cream based popsicles that taste like a mix between a popsicle and an ice cream). We got a few to take a couple home. So far I've tried the water based lime (super refreshing, and just the right balance between sweet and tart), avocado (sounds strange, but trust me, this one is super sumptuous and creamy), and paleta de nuez (pecan cream popsicle). I can't even tell you which one is my favorite because they were all so delicious. There are also other things on the menu that look delicious- aguas frescas, dori and taki nachos, and chicharrones, among other options. The price is on the high side compared to other paleterias I've visited, but I think the quality and location make this slightly higher price worth it. Definitely worth the visit! read more
