Great service! The gentleman who helped us figure out our holiday treats was so helpful (and patient!). Recommend!

We came here twice during our stay in Santa Fe. The chocolates are so thoughtful, interesting, and…read moredelicious. You can sample any drinking chocolate, even without getting a flight. We definitely preferred to European style with almond milk, but I think that we would like the more traditional ones if they were made with milk. We also really liked the brownies, though the Aztec brownie + ice cream gave me an intense caffeine overload--my fault! Our first time here we each got an ice cream, both with fudge and whipped cream. As I said, while the Aztec was delicious, it really was too much for me, but I still ate the whole thing! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed my husband's mint chocolate chip--the peppermint flavor was real--it tasted like they soaked the milk with peppermint leaves to make it, and it was so refreshing! We liked the chocolate truffles and bon bons so much that we ended up buying them as gifts. Our favorite flavors were the sage/goat cheese, peanut butter bar, Aztec round, bourbon pecan, and lavender. Finally, the service was outstanding. The servers were so kind, patient, and helpful. Our first trip the server took the time to write each flavor on our box of chocolates so that we would know what was what. The second server listened as we decided which treats were for which friends, and he wrote their names on each box before wrapping them. So very kind!

The quality of the product definitely stands out. Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard of the chocolates. When we asked about the different varieties and flavor differences to help decide what to purchase, the response felt dismissive and unwelcoming. For a specialty chocolate shop, customers should be able to expect knowledgeable and engaging guidance, especially when navigating a premium selection. Instead, it felt as though our questions were an inconvenience rather than an opportunity to share expertise and enhance the experience. The lack of warmth and customer engagement significantly took away from what should have been a memorable experience.

This was an EXCEPTIONAL dining experience!…read more Service exemplary. I sat at the bar and got to watch the kitchen cook and they were true craftsmen and professionals. I started with what I thought was going to be a plain Caesar salad, but when it arrived, it was served like a sushi or lettuce wrap. It was very creative and tasty! It made it much more fun to eat than the average salad. It was rich and topped with anchovies, like a true Caesar salad. I then had the peppercorn Elk tenderloin. I asked it be served as the chef recommended, which is medium rare. I am sometimes wary of medium rare, but this tenderloin was DIVINE! It was so moist and bursting with flavor. I loved it. The cocktails were creative and just as enjoyable as the meal. Other options for dinner apps include: cornbread, ahi crudo, mussels, and bison carpaccio. Mains: scallops, pan roasted Branzino, toasted masa gnocchi, grilled Maine lobster tails, duck leg confit, and a pecan coffee rubbed prime flat iron. I'm sure all of them would be amazing. Reservations recommended. Please note that the rooftop bar does not take reservations and is not on the same system as the restaurant. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

It's a perfect place for a group of friends who are drinking and laughing, and in general having a good time. If I was by myself, I would have given the place 5 stars, but the food was not a hit with everyone in our group. Starting with what was good, the cornbread was delicious. The Tuna Crudo, Caesar Salad and Branzino, which is what I ordered were all delicious and I would order again. The Mac n' Cheese was so decadent, and one of the best sides I have ever had. The not so great - the lobster was a bit overcooked and over done shellfish is never good, and the masa gnocchi was a bit dense and dry. This is a place where knowing what to order off the menu is key as not all dishes were spectacular. As a result of this dinner, our friend in Santa Fe has crossed it off the list for another large party dinner she is coordinating. However, I would happily return.

The inside is dirty and uninviting but I was needing a place right away so I committed. The carrot cake looked really good so I asked the girl for a piece. She was very odd. She started at me as if she couldn't believe someone asked for the carrot cake. She said something I couldn't understand. My friend jumped in to help but she just looked at him too. So odd. Eventually she handed me a styrofoam container with carrot cake in it. I also ordered a small Americano. The Americano was good and the carrot cake was good, but it was a small piece and not worth $13! I asked for the Wi-Fi password, but the other girl working in the counter also kind of stared at me and shrugged her shoulders. I asked again she said "I don't know it" I tried to ask the other girl and she said"we don't know it because no one's ever asked for it before". I said, "but you're a coffee shop and the Wi-Fi is there for guests. We just need the password." And she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I had to do my Zoom call on my phone walking down the sidewalk because I wasn't staying there.

The latte didn't do anything for me...it was overly sweet without really tasting of honey or lavender, and was too thick or something. The doughnut, however, was a different story. The blue cornmeal gave it a really nice texture--a bit crunchy, and the icing had actual lavender, not just flavoring. Best $2 I've spent today! They also have Hagen Daaz, for those who are into eating ice cream when it's 33° outside.

Welcoming, warm, attentive. I was given the choice of sitting in the main dining room or on the covered porch (fully covered) and I chose the porch. They opened the window for me so there would be a light breeze. Anyone who complains about this beautiful, light-filled porch, again, it's a them problem, not a Zacatlan problem. Menu items for breakfast/brunch include: buttermilk pancakes, Atlantic salmon, Mary Tierra Benedicts (crab meat, Canadian bacon, bennies, and more), burritos, omelets, chicken and waffles, avocado toast. At the servers recommendation, I had the sopecitos, which are corn cakes served with chicken Tinga (chicken, obvi), cochinita pibil (pork), rajas (roasted poblano strips) with lettuce, crema, and queso fresco. It was savory and authentic. Very rich and well seasoned. The veggies served along with it were also great. Their margaritas are on point. Options for dinner: bone marrow, various salads, achiote prawns, branzino fish al pastor, lamb shank barbabcoa, vegetarian Chile relleno, fried snapper, pork shank, 16 hour braised short ribs, and more. I would love to try this place for dinner. I vacationed in Santa Fe solo. I think I'll bring my husband back here for a laid back few days.

We oddly were seated in an empty second dining area when there were ample seats in the main dining room. The presentation of the food was a bit over the top.
