Have you ever past a place , countless of times saying i want to check this place out ?? Well that ! Mamma Mia what took me so long ? The pastries and cappuccino . The 5 fingers to the lips and kiss ! Highly recommend to get your holiday party and family gathering treats !! Walked out with 3 pies , Panettone and of course can't forget the cannolis ! This place is so cozy , it belongs in a neighborhood not in corner facing 3 major highways ( 46, 23 , 80 ) But then again the exposure for more foot traffic is high . It does get packed !! . Which leads me to say , the eat in cafe area is very small , tiny . Its more sip and go rather then hang out like old school or European cafes .

Always excellent quality and delicious products. Definitely a staple for any family function at this point.

Don't walk, RUN to Palazzone. The display case of beautiful pastry and cookies will make you drool. The servers are pleasant and efficient. They have Italian cookies made fresh, light and delicious and miles apart from what you would get anywhere else. The "lobster tails" were crunchy on the outside and the cream so light and gently sweet. The panettone comes in many varieties from Artisnal, made with premium ingredients to gluten free and even vegan. Palazzone is not to be missed.

If you are looking for a spot for lunch you have found it. The service is always attentive and the two staff members who are always there make you feel like you took a quick trip to Italy and I absolutely love it. The Olivia salad is one of my go-tos. You'll see pictured is this salad with arugula rather than lettuce. 10/10 as always

The Palazzone family are immigrants from Italy. They bring traditional Italian pastries that are authentic, fresh and of old world quality. When I need to bring pastries to an event, I often come here. Open since 1960 at this location, Palazzone's is located on Route 23 South directly opposite the WillowBrook Mall. Cookies are purchased by the pound. They range between $16-$18 which in this area is a pretty competitive price. Pastries can be bought individually starting at $2.75. Once you have tasted their cookies or pastries you well notice their quality. They are delicious. I recommend their lobster tails ($3.80). Mousses ($5.00). Cannoli ($3.50), Tiramisu ($5.00) and Napoleons ($2.50) Their Gelato offerings start at $4 for a small and up to $8 for a large.

First you need to be patient with willowbook mall traffic and the only access is from Newark Pompton turnpike GOING NORTH. Waze routes you through downtown little falls so be braced for a commute or making illegal shopping center drive uturns. Finally got here for lunch as it's not open late enough for dinner and it was worth the wait. Dishes are fresh and well made. Had ravioli with black truffle sauce. Amazing. Pastries are ok and beautiful but stick with Italian ones as carrot cake was tasteless to me

Wow, to food, drinks and specially the desserts - biscotti, lobster claws, many different little Italian pastries AND gelato. Truly traditional Italian and we have traveled to Italy on a number of times. Please try it and Enjoy!

A friend heard about this place and we had to go try it after lunch... great for dessert after lunch...Small italian pastry shop but nice and clean. Assorted pasties, cakes, gelatos, coffee and more. Friendly staff and service. Never knew of this place as it's right across the road from the Willowbrook Mall area. To get here have to drive further down and come around. Small parking lot - there is some seating indoors and outdoors. Indoors preferably for a hot day. Definitely hard to decide what to get as everything looked so good. Good place to come pick up pastries for a party or gathering if nearby. Gelato - small $3.50, medium $4.50, large $5.50 The pistachio gelato was really good. Will come back and try something else or just get more gelato. Restroom inside for customers.

Honestly all I can say is WOW. This place was amazing. Very authentic and very welcoming. I came for lunch with some coworkers and I am truly sad I had never been before. What on earth was I waiting for?? Palazzone has every pastry and cake and cookie one could dream of. You name it, I'm sure they have it. They have a little area to sit and eat - panini, salads, pastas, etc. Our group shared a delicious charcuterie board. I had the Olivia salad which was a huge portion and very filling. It's rare I see tuna like this on a menu so I knew I needed to have it. We were celebrating a coworker and split the most delicious Nutella cake. It was light and covered in hazelnuts. I wanted to lick the plate. My parents literally went days later at my recommendation. This place is in the lineup now for sure.

I'm giving four stars because the cake is really good but the message inscription on the cake can be professional. Can do better in this area. Ordered online from the little falls branch.

It definitely has a cozy feeling though and is a very pleasant place for relaxing dinner. The restaurant is a BYOB establishment, and they deftly opened our bottle of wine. I would have broken the cork for certain. For starters my father and I both had their version of Oysters Rockefeller. It included six oysters that were prepared with bacon, spinach onions and cream. While not strictly traditional it was absolutely delicious, and we'd order it again. The restaurant also serves Spiedini alla Romano, which you don't see often. We didn't get it this time, but we saw it being served and will definitely try it on our next visit. For entrees we ordered the Veal Francaise. It came with roasted potatoes and vegetables that were perfectly cooked. The veal was tender, and the Francaise sauce was flavorful with a proper lemony note. This is another dish we'll order again. The service was friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable. Casa Arturo Bistro is definitely worth a try.

There is a small little parking lot that can fit 4-5 cars right off the main road. Inside was decorated with cute Christmas decor, and the domestic violence scene from Godfather Part 1 casually playing on the TV while I'm trying to eat my food. Good variety of options of appetizers, small shared plates, pizza, fresh pasta, and entrées to choose from our group decided to split the popular pizza. Then everyone offended for themselves - our table ordered the gnocchi with pesto and chicken Milanese, chicken parmigiana with penne, Arancini, and the "focaccia"/house garlic bread. The Arancini was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and luscious on the inside. The pizza was a perfect sweet and savory combo of burrata, prosciutto, and balsamic glaze. The pesto was a bit thin and ate a little soupier than I prefer. Buyer beware with the focaccia - although it's called focaccia, it's also listed under the pizzas so it was served thin and crispy like a pizza rather than thick and fluffy like we had been expecting. I would absolutely return again to try all the other dishes, especially the shared plates, different pizzas, and other fresh pasta offerings.

We ended the meal with some Italian pastries, a celebratory cake commemorating the occasion and tartufo. A great evening with long time friends and good food. Interesting note about Rosa's Italian Restaurant and Caterer. This restaurant is not generally open to the public. It is not a walk in restaurant. If you would like to come to Rosa's you have to pre-schedule your dinner in advance with at least 8 or more people (up to 40 according to Rosa) and Rosa will accommodate you. Well, I was finally able to investigate, since I was invited there for a wedding. The ceremony had been elsewhere, and when we arrived, we were a bit too early for the cocktail hour, which was to be held in the sunny Gregorian Room with its spectacular views of the blooming flowers on the outdoor Piazza. The entrance to the space was roped off until the precise kick-off time, so we all gathered in the marble lobby, which became more and more crowded as guests arrived. Folks were starting to get a bit restless, but at least there was a staff member serving sparkling wine with strawberries to keep them calm. I was not a fan of the selected bubbles, but they did their job. Also, since the day was unseasonably chilly, the coat room had been closed, but I reached out to a server, and she graciously opened the closet for the few of us that had items we needed to check. Once we got into the cocktail reception, we had access to a large open bar, loads of food, and plenty of seating. There were some passed hors d'oeuvres, as well as stations for antipasti, pizza, pasta, and carved meats. I found many of the Italian salads and marinated vegetables just decent, but the pizza was surprisingly good. I was trying to save room for dinner, so I did not try the pastas or meats, which had not really appealed to me anyway. We were later told to head upstairs to the Ballroom, which was elegant and looked like something straight out of a fairytale. It was extremely spacious, allowing guests to socialize with ease. The dancefloor was similarly sprawling with plenty of room to strut your stuff along to the music. From a drinks perspective, most people just claimed their own beverages from the bar, though the servers did offer us either a Pinot Grigio or a Cabernet Sauvignon tableside. I opted for the Cab, but found it watery and acidic. There were dinner rolls waiting at our place setting, and those were soft, fluffy, and lightly sweet. They were delicious! Our first course was a Caesar salad, which was fine except for the dressing tasted like pure mayonnaise. Thankfully, the second course was a palate cleanser of lemon sorbet, which was refreshing and not too sweet. We then had our choice of main course, selecting from salmon, chicken, and Chateaubriand. I went with the grilled salmon, which was served over a creamy potato puree and sauteed carrots. It was all tasty and well-executed. I heard that the steak, which was served with the same side dishes, was enjoyable as well. For dessert, we received individual slices of wedding cake, as well as a platter of cookies and mini-pastries for the table. Everything was delicious, and it was a nice end to the meal. il Tulipano was a gorgeous venue, especially for a wedding, and the service was phenomenal. I just felt that the food had some hits and some misses.
