Disappointing experience. Surly man wearing earbuds gave me my pizza. I had left a tip when paying for it earlier. I felt like removing it from the jar. My first bite of the pizza left me gasping for air....all I could taste was oregano. Overwhelming everything else....I had to bury it under lots of garlic powder and crushed red pepper. Blech. We recently moved to the area and this is now our go to spot for Italian. The pizzas toppings are plentiful and well distributed. The family has had the pasta and loved both the marinara and Alfredo. The pizza is good but the service is lacking. More than once I have ordered by phone and was told that it would be ready in 25 min. When we got there the order had not even been registered. When the manager overheard us telling one of the employees that that this was indeed where we ordered the pizza, she realized that she had taken the order and did not put it in. That added another 20 min waiting there. They did give us a 15% discount and the pizza was very tasty. Just hoping they get there service act together. read more

So I bought my employee a lunch special.. I enjoyed half of the staffs conversation . Showed back up for a whole pizza five hours later and my $100 bill was rejected, an old Benny the bank gave me. Owner at the counter was condescending and asked me to cash my bill next door. I did it was real $. Told me of her woes. Not my problem the bank provides me US currency. I made change next door and I paid for the pizza and tipped. The young girl at the counter gave me life advice. Wanted to give this place a try I read about all the reviews about this place came in with some friends & ordered there chicken BBQ pizza it was actually pretty decent. The shopping center is a old shopping center where Nessy"s burger place is located at. Would I come back probably most likely yes because I support small businesses and believe that this place has potential. We came in on a Saturday nite and they were pretty busy they didn't have much help they were working hard trying to help everyone they possibly can. Some of the customers were nice some weren't so nice cause of the limited help they got. But overall my pizza was good the cheese was not so fresh maybe next time I will try something else. read more

My husband is the only holdout on this place so I give it 4 stars for him lol. He isn't a fan of the crust- he likes doughier crust- but I like it...I love their sauce and the toppings on the veggie pizza were fantastic! I love spinach on my pizza. The cheese is great too. The chicken alfredo was really good. You can tell the saice is made in house. We walked in to order - so we knew we'd be in for a wait, that was fine with us since we know pizza takes time to cook. I'd call ahead next time though. While we were waiting the owner handcut and fried up some fries for us. That was very kind. I know many in our area were hoping for delivery but this is a small shop...I don't think at the volume they do it is possible...but it's a quick drive from the neighboring areas. I got a pizza from this place just this last weekend. I got the Pesto Chicken. It came with a basil pesto sauce (instead of red sauce) chicken, artichoke, and red peppers. I also added onion. The pizza crust was chewy and soft. The toppings were well portioned and evenly distributed. I also had the coconut shrimp and WOW!!! The shrimp were huge and the raspberry vinaigrette it was served with was amazing!!! I will definitely be going here again. There are many options and I cant wait to try some more of the "house-made" appetizers. They aren't offering delivery yet but I cannot wait until they do. read more

My third time here. First two times were ok and I didn't write a review because it was just "ok". This last time though was not. Took close to 40 minutes to get the order ready after I was told 20. The reason I was told was because they had a hard time getting the fryer to heat up. I ordered a medium 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 Hawaiian pizza and their sampler platter which consisted of 2-mozzarella sticks, 2-coconut shrimp, 2-buffalo chicken LEGS and some jalapeño poppers. The legs were huge whole chicken legs with hot sauce poured over them which I wasn't a fan of. After the first bite, the rest just tasted like plain ol' chicken leg. The rest of the sampler tasted like it was fried in old oil due to the smell and taste with the poppers as the worst out of them all. Both myself and my wife couldn't get past the first one we ate. The cost for both the medium pizza and sampler platter was a little over $27 which even if the food was better than average is I think, overpriced for what you get. I read a review earlier that mentioned the cans of store-bought marinara/pizza sauce, pineapple and other items out in plain view when standing at the counter. Doesn't give a good first impression. You may ask why I've come back 3 times and the answer is convenience due to the closest pizza place being in Fallbrook. If Pala Mesa Pizza would turn it up a notch and offer an experience above and beyond just a run of the mill pizza place, they could make a killing based on the location and convenience to all of the residences in the area. read more

Let me start by saying, thank goodness they have a arrived! Back when it was the "Taco place", I refused to step foot in place! They did a awesome remodeling the pace. Their chef is top notch! A lot of effort goes into every dish he makes. His attention to detail is superior, you really taste the difference from some big pizza chain. Their salads and pasta items are well work the money. Though their location is quiet small, the favor in their food without question is un measurable. I have yet to eat anything from them that is not note worthy. I had some jalapeño poppers tonight that were off the chain! The only reason they did not receive 5 stars is the fact they don't deliver yet. Which I understand because with any new business they have their hiccups. You can tell their young staff is still new to the restaurant world but the food definitely makes up for it. I always call a head my order before I attempt to pick up my food to ensure they have adequate time to prepare my food. That being the case I would advise anyone looking to purchase a pizza do the same. My favorite dish is the chicken alfredo pasta. I plan to eat there as much as possible. It's very convenient that they are open later then the restaurants surrounding them. Looking forward to my next meal! read more
