You get *better* than what you pay for. I was waiting for the commuter rail free work and decided to pick up a small pizza for dinner. I ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza and was told it'll be a 15-20 min wait time. The place is takeout only during covid but they have a couple couches for people to wait. Ample free parking in the parking lot in the plaza. They have the usual options from pizza to subs. Sadly no slices were left so I had to get a small pizza. I got my pizza within the estimate and it was piping hot. It was surprisingly a big size - close to a medium. The pizza was loaded with chicken and sauce. It was baked to perfection - not too dry. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area. Great after work cheap option! Especially if you're waiting for the train. read more

The pizza is one of the better pizzas in the area. It's similar to a New York style pizza which is good because Merrimack valley is overloaded with that Greek style greasy oily stuff. Horrible Customer Service. Owner is rude. They made a mistake on an order and refused to correct the situation. Kicked an employee of ours out who was trying to complete the order. While I'm on Yelp today, I figured I should pop over here and leave a review of Paisano's. Unfortunately, I am moving in a few short weeks but before I do, I need to sing their praises. I love this place because even when I haven't been there in a few months, they act like I was just there a week ago. The girls that work the counter are super nice and make it worth popping in for take out. I've never had the pizza, so I can't speak to that. My boyfriend and I tend to split a sub and a salad. Our splurge sub is a steak bomb, minus the green peppers, but with jalapenos. Holy hell do that make it good! Salads are great, with excellent, fresh pita bread and lots of components to it, not generic like most sub shops. Chicken kabob, also awesome. I got a calzone there once and it was ginormous. It was three times the size that I thought it would be. And again, it was yummo. I would love to give them a full five but they are lacking in self promotion. You have to ask for a menu. They are kept behind the counter, not out in the open. And it's impossible to find a menu online - the one in the Yelp photo is hard to read too, but honestly is the best you'll find for them. If they promoted better, I would call in for take out more. I have the convenience of living across the street, so we can just walk over there, but it would be nice to have a menu to look at in case we want to stray from our usual, or if we just want to be lazy. This pizza joint has the best house salad dressing. And with their salads comes this flat bread that is like pizza dough...cooked. Their pizza??? Subs??? After eating pizzas all over Essex County, this is the Best pizza I've tried. Very nice people and great service.

We live across the street and our go-to place is Romano's, which is maybe an extra two minute walk from Paisano's. but we wanted to try something new, so we did. The large veggie deluxe came with more toppings and a lower price point than their neighbor, so that was good. Unfortunately that is where most of the positives ended for us. The crust was forgettable, the dough was thin and soggy, and the comments from my family was that they must have spilled water on the pizza. In reality I think this was due to the fresh tomatoes and broccoli toppings. Fresh produce is never a bad thing, unless it makes your pizza soggy. I will point out that the sogginess was not grease (which another recent reviewer complained about). The pizza tasted rather light and we may have enjoyed it if the moisture content was under control. The three of us left two slices which saw the trash. Who throws away pizza?! :( I would say we would be back to try a different pie, but we always only get veggie pizzas (despite the fact that I love meat), so this will probably be our only visit. read more

This is our standby for Thursday office lunch for (at least) the last 3 years. Great subs, salads and pizza. Subs are good sized -- I'll eat a large over 2 days. Pizza is decent, not too doughy, not too flat. Favs -- Chicken and hots, BBQ chicken, or eggplant, spinach and feta. Prices are good, staff is friendly and they're consistent. read more

Awful customer service! I went to this place a few times b/c it is near my work, and I was not impressed. Two days in a row I ordered a salad and asked for it without olives. Both times, they put olives on. When I complained that both days the order was not what I had asked for and that I had to throw the salad out b/c I was allergic, the woman at the counter- who turned out to be the manager- gave me A LOT of attitude and told me it was MY FAULT that I had not said I was allergic. I replied that a specific order was a specific order, whether or not I disclosed an allergy. She still would not take accountability for the staff ignoring my request, with quite an attitude. I told her I was offended by how she was speaking to me and I would no longer be a customer there. She said "fine" and walked away. The restaurant itself is small and crowded, hard to get a seat and you have to wait a bit for your order unless you call ahead, and then they won't even listen to your order. I HIGHLY don't recommend this place. Go to Romano's two blocks down the street and have a wonderful experience instead! read more

ok.. this was our place to go at work every thursday for almost 6 years. the staff are always friendly, but they do get very busy around noon. there may be a line out the door. seating can get tough... maybe some booths would be nice.. too.. but their food never dissappoints. we love their pizza. but the salads are amazing and very large. i am in LOVE with their chicken cutlet subs and they have the most amazing chicken bomb. if you are in lawrence, and looking for a good place to eat. i highly recommend it. i clicked NO WAITER service.. but they usually bring your food out to you if they are not busy.. i see them serve police/fire/ambulance customers, as well as elderly and pregnant woman. but we have been brought our food as well. love these ladies. read more

My office ordered a dozen or so pies from here and everyone raved how good the pizza was. Overall consensus: the pizza is amazing. We got 2-3 pies each of plain, sausage, pepperoni, onion/peppers, and my personal favorite eggplant. Crust is thin and not to soft or crunchy. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The place was not fancy or classy, and there wasn't a soul in the joint aside from the staff. I asked for a drink and they said their freezer was busted. I got a buffalo chicken salad and was overwhelmed with the size and taste given the low price. It was delicious AND the cashier was able to find an iced tea in the fridge in the back that she let me have since she didn't have any up front.
