No extra cost for paint or just being there, just the cost of what you choose to paint. They have also mosaic which I did not try but will be trying next time. They didn't have the largest selection of items to paint, I do wish they had more house wears selection, it was a lot of holiday and little animals, random stuff like a smores with a face, stuff like that. Not really what I am interest in but that's just me. I did find a lovely little vase so that was perfect. Had tons stencils and other supplies you could use and hairdryers to help dry faster which was really nice. Overall had a great experience, will be back for sure!

Two kids chose a bowl and two kids chose a plate. They were able to choose the colors they wanted and then they painted and blow dried after every coat. They are so many different things you can do at this shop, paint, pottery, mosaic, there are different classes and workshops as well. It's super clean inside. There's a restroom that's easily accessible. There is parking in the front of the shop as well. I definitely recommend this shop for a cute date night, fun afternoon with kids or solo date. 10/10

I had left a 1 star review earlier, because the glaze on my piece cracked a TON when I took it home. They called me back, took responsibility for their error, (they explained they'd most likely opened the oven too quickly) gave me credit towards another project, and offered to fix the glaze on the tray for me! I went and did just that, and made myself a mug. I called two weeks later to ask if they were ready (I think I put the wrong phone number, or they were delayed with texting me. No sweat.) and they were, so I just picked them up and I'm so happy. There's still a very tiny crack on the tray, but honestly that's just me nitpicking. The staff was very apologetic, and they were so kind every single time I visited. Thank you again! If you encounter cracked glaze after getting your piece, give them a polite call. Staff was 10/10 I'd give you all a million bucks if I could.

Color Me Mine is a great spot to bring the kids and be crafty! We come here several times and love…read moreit. I'm sad they took away the canvas painting options as that was the reason we drove 30 min just to come to this specific location. My fault as I should have called first to double check if they still offered the canvas painting. This is the only location I knew of that did that. Oh well. There is a huge selection of pottery pieces to choose from. Prices vary pending on your selection. Came here with my daughter and she selected the cute little tea set. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the price at $54! But this is what she wanted so I cannot deny her happiness. Haha. I mean I can but I didn't know want to. It took me a while to find what I wanted to paint that was practical. We have so many pottery pieces the kids make that are just for decoration. Love when we make plates, mugs, bowls or any kitchen pieces as they are most practical. I chose the geometric vase! The vase was $37. There is also an additional $8/per person studio fee to use everything (brushes, paint, materials). This stuff can add up quickly. Our total was $117! Ouch. But fun and you can't put a price on fun experiences. Lol. Once you pick your piece, the staff will bring you a bowl of water and a paint palette. All brushes located at the tables. The you select the colors you want and put onto your palette and bring back to the table to start painting. We took our time and was here for 2 hours. But our pieces were meticulous. Ha. They also offer coffee here which is a nice bonus. Once you're done painting your piece, you can use the blow dryer to dry the paint, this prevents smearing. Give the finished pieces to the staff and they will label it for the final touch of glazing and thus completing the process. It takes about 7 days and they will call you when it's done so you can come back and pick up the finished product. Can't wait to see ours!

We sat outside because there was only two of us. If not, we were going to have to wait until someone was done. it was a beautiful day until it starts to get hot. The breeze dies down and people are smoking past you as you are outside. I am excited about getting my artwork. It'll take about two weeks.

She is now 16 and she has had a relationship with YAA from the first time she attended a bithday party at 3 to this summer when she was a volunteer for summer camp, specialty camp. She has attended Saturday digital camps, specialty camp (until she aged out) and full time camp. We have watched the museum struggle during Covid when they were forced to find a new location. Under the leadership of their new CEO, we have witnessed such resilience. My daughter has participated in 3 recycling fashion shows, participated in their festival of the arts (where kids can share & sell their art), and so far for her high school career she has been a volunteer for summer camp. Through her participation in the Recycling Fashion Show she has been able to be part of an exhibition at Art Serve - sharing the display space with adult artists. She was able to paint a guitar to be auctioned for a large fundraiser for the Ann Storck center and she has been able to utilize 2 scholarships through the Florida Fashion Institue to enhance her career aspirations. My daughter has met amazing mentors and has had a positive experience at Young at Art. She has seen the museum grow and continue to serve to community even with facing challenges. Young at Art has meant a lot to our family. Yes, they look smaller but what they have provided to the community and our family is HUGE!

Young At Art is an immersive,…read morehands-on museum with a variety of interactive exhibits, art activities, and creative play spaces that encourage learning through imagination and exploration. The museum is reasonably priced and a great size. While it's not huge, there's plenty to keep children engaged. We've been visiting every two to three months for the past two years, and it's been fun seeing some of the recent upgrades they've made. The space is open and thoughtfully divided into different themed areas. Kids can enjoy a slide, a music and movement section, a grocery store and kitchen play area, a large swing, a few simple video games, painting stations, and several daily craft activities. They've also recently added a pretend garden where children can "plant" flowers, which is such a cute interactive feature. There are playful activities scattered throughout the museum, so there's always something new to discover. Everything is designed to encourage creativity, hands-on learning, and imaginative play. My four-year-old nephew absolutely loves coming here, and we've been bringing him since he was two years old. It's one of our favorite local outings. One thing I also appreciate is that it never feels overly crowded, although we usually visit during the week. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, and they're especially helpful in the craft areas, where they're always encouraging and willing to assist the kids with their projects. Overall, I highly recommend Young At Art for families with young children. It's a fun, creative, and educational experience that keeps us coming back again and again.
