Came here for the first time the other night and it was such a fun experience! This place is for anyone of any age too! You choose any ceramic you want. The smaller the ceramic, the cheaper. The larger the ceramic, the more pricy it is. There is a good amount of ceramic pieces to choose from, I just wish there were a bit more. After you choose your ceramic piece, you fill out a form of which colors you'd like to start off with. You start with 5 colors, but it's okay to choose more or less. We had about 2.5 hours to paint our pieces, which was a good amount of time. But if you choose a more detailed piece to paint, then it may take longer. Choose wisely but have fun! After you finish painting, you leave your piece there to dry and they finish it off by putting it in the oven and leaving it with a nice, shiny gloss! In a week, the pieces are all set to pick up! Overall, I had a great experience and would like to come here again. The environment was nice, there was music playing in the background, and the employees were very sweet and patient with us!

I have been a customer of this color me mine for years. Today I came in to celebrate my little cousins birthday. I had the WORST customer service experience with the store manager, Candy. We came with a large group of adults with kids and she demanded that only one adult could stay inside with our kids. I hope the owners of this franchise know that they lost a whole bunch of business due to the fact that their general manager was extremely rude and unaccommodating towards our large group that would have paid EXTRA! to stay with our kids. The staff needs a definite attitude adjustment and a hard lesson of understanding that the customer is always right. Shame on you color me mine for allowing such behavior in your store. I hope that you read this and let your staff know that you will not put up with this kind of behavior. I will NEVER return to this location again. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This is an expensive hobby. The only reason I came here was because I found a groupon (pay $16 for $30 of goods/services). This is my 3rd experience at the Color Me Mine franchise. The last time was in 2007, and prior to that when I was 10 yo when a relative treated me to the experience. I love the whole paint-your-own pottery thing but the cost definitely keeps me from doing this as often as I'd like. I made a reservation and had a table waiting for me when I showed up. There were walk-ins, but if you have a large party or know for sure you want to paint, I would suggest making a reservation. This is definitely a spot for kids and families. I was not satisfied with the pottery selection. The items were kitchenware (plates and cups) or large figurines. Not to mention all the pieces were $20+++. What happened to all the single digit priced items? The cheapest thing I saw was a small grenade looking bowl that was marked down to $6. I was really looking forward to painting a coaster (for hot dishes) but they didn't even sell the most basic tile ceramic. Ok, I take it back, they did have tiles for $9 but you could only use them for the glass crafts. It was a struggle to pick something I was interested to paint and eventually settled on a $24 bowl. We'll see how it turns out post glaze. In summary: + polite service + unsatisfied with pottery selection (they said it changes weekly) + expensive + pay for parking in the structure. This place does Not validate. I will probably do this again, in another 5-10 years. I will def look for a groupon beforehand. EDIT: Just picked up my piece. So sad there's a smudge on it.

Went here as a first date and it was absolutely fabulous! It was the cutest idea to have a first date in, the environment is so relaxed and interactive. The employees are welcoming and informative. They let you do your thing and give you your space. They have a wide variety of selections to choose from. From cups to plates to jewelry cases and Disney characters! Great for kids, teens, adults, first dates, girls night out, bonding time, anything you can think of! After we finished our paintings, I had to wait about a week to pick up our crafts from bring glossed. Definitely had a great time with Color Me Mine!

Love the finished look.I added glitter to her eyelids.I might add some glitter on the statues tail.Simple but lovely.

I'm sad they took away the canvas painting options as that was the reason we drove 30 min just to come to this specific location. My fault as I should have called first to double check if they still offered the canvas painting. This is the only location I knew of that did that. Oh well. There is a huge selection of pottery pieces to choose from. Prices vary pending on your selection. Came here with my daughter and she selected the cute little tea set. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the price at $54! But this is what she wanted so I cannot deny her happiness. Haha. I mean I can but I didn't know want to. It took me a while to find what I wanted to paint that was practical. We have so many pottery pieces the kids make that are just for decoration. Love when we make plates, mugs, bowls or any kitchen pieces as they are most practical. I chose the geometric vase! The vase was $37. There is also an additional $8/per person studio fee to use everything (brushes, paint, materials). This stuff can add up quickly. Our total was $117! Ouch. But fun and you can't put a price on fun experiences. Lol. Once you pick your piece, the staff will bring you a bowl of water and a paint palette. All brushes located at the tables. The you select the colors you want and put onto your palette and bring back to the table to start painting. We took our time and was here for 2 hours. But our pieces were meticulous. Ha. They also offer coffee here which is a nice bonus. Once you're done painting your piece, you can use the blow dryer to dry the paint, this prevents smearing. Give the finished pieces to the staff and they will label it for the final touch of glazing and thus completing the process. It takes about 7 days and they will call you when it's done so you can come back and pick up the finished product. Can't wait to see ours!

The only thing I don't like is there's never enough tables to accommodate everybody. We sat outside because there was only two of us. If not, we were going to have to wait until someone was done. it was a beautiful day until it starts to get hot. The breeze dies down and people are smoking past you as you are outside. I am excited about getting my artwork. It'll take about two weeks.

Cristina is so patient explaining how pottery works and encourages you to be playful with what you create. Adam is also very helpful offering any advice, together they make a great team. The attention to detail does not go unnoticed, and they make everyone feel welcomed (this is very important because I understand it can be scary/intimidating to try new things! they put any fears to ease) Luckily I had the opportunity to glaze a few of my pieces, which is worth the money! I was so pleasantly surprised how quickly my pottery was fired, considering how long the process can take from start to finish. I have been to multiple OCISLY events, but one of my favorite memories was crafting matching swan coffee mugs with my partner. It was so fun to do side-by-side while surrounded by creative energy and good vibes. We cherish these mugs and pull them out often smiling at the subtle unique imperfections that make each one beautiful. Thank you to OCISLY for an amazing memory that will last for years & years. We look forward to many more clay dates!
