They suggested we come check out this art center. I'm so glad they did! You walk into GreenHill and see gallery rooms and children's art exhibit through the center hall. Walk past the info desk til you come to the studio. They have books and a fun art installation after passing through the first room. Keep walking and they have markers and colored pencils and paper to draw. In the back they have an easel wall - string and clips with color paper to paint. There were tables for clay and one attendant was setting out mirrors for the kids to do self portraits. All this was free when we went On Fridays they have story time and art for a nominal cost. Upon entering my family and I were greeted by the friendly staff. Checking in was easy using the check-in kiosks. I attended a friend's son's birthday party here, and the party room comfortably accommodated our group of about 20 people. The room was set up with 3 picnic style tables and additional chairs along the open wall area. There was a waiting area with a couch and two massage chair outside our room. This location appears very well maintained. The playing area floors, tables, and bathrooms were notably clean, which is always appreciated in a kids' venue. They offer a good selection of arcade games to keep children entertained, along with snacks at the concession stand and a couple of vending machines for added convenience. Staff members were stationed throughout the play area checking for overall safety of children playing. Overall I was impressed with Safari Nation in high point. Highly recommended!

Brenner Children's Museum, and they are always such a treat! It's so much fun to explore the exhibits without kids around and enjoy the playful, creative atmosphere. The museum was the first children's museum in the Triad and still features some of its original exhibits -- including the iconic big red chair, which is a total photo favorite! During regular hours, the museum is perfect for kids ages 0-12, with hands-on learning and interactive play spaces that spark curiosity and imagination. But my personal favorite -- the Neptune Climber XXL -- is definitely for all ages! It's an amazing structure that brings out everyone's inner child. I mean it is 2 stories high. The staff is friendly, the events are well-organized, and the museum continues to be a special part of Greensboro. Whether you're bringing little ones or attending an adult night, this place never fails to bring smiles and good memories.

Inside you will find life size vehicles for children to explore such as a real fire truck, police car, big rig, race car and ambulance. They even have a section of an airplane for kids to sit inside. There is also a pretend grocery store, pizza parlor, play house, construction site and doctors office. The toddler area allows free play for littles and is enclosed. Another section of the museum also has a water station. Outside you'll find a garden with a mud kitchen, fruits and vegetables, as well as a chicken coop. The additional outdoor section is a massive climbing area with ropes for dayzzzz. The staff is so friendly and they just started implementing a frequent visitor pass. I believe after 5 visits you get free admission. You can get a punch card at the front desk. I thought that was neat, and also encourages families to visit again. It's the least stimulating museum we've visited and much more enjoyable than the Kaladieum in Winston salem which has TV's and screens everywhere. Though this museum is geared towards a younger crowd, it's nice that parents have a place to bring children that sparks imagination, creativity and can be a break from the constant exposure of electronics that younger kids are so often drawn towards.

First and foremost, Spooky Woods only honors military discounts for active duty members, not their families. If your spouse is deployed or TDY, you cannot use your dependent ID to claim the advertised BOGO tickets. Additionally, the attraction does not recognize Gold Star families, which was especially disheartening after my friend--who lost her loved one in active duty--was also turned away. I strongly encourage management to reconsider this policy, as these families have made profound sacrifices and deserve recognition. We attended on opening night and waited approximately three hours in line. While some wait time is expected, better organization could greatly improve the experience. There were fun moments--music, light interaction, and themed characters--but compared to a competitor we visited the night before (which featured a full fall festival and concert guests could enjoy while waiting), the overall setup here felt less engaging and far less efficient. There was also a bar halfway through the line, but guests were not informed during ticketing that a green wristband was required to purchase drinks. After standing in line for hours, many people were understandably frustrated when they discovered this too late. Clearer communication would easily fix this issue. The "Bates Motel" and "Camp Crystal Lake" sets were the standout features in terms of design and atmosphere. However, the actor performances lacked coordination and consistency--several repeated the same handful of lines, and some of the scariest characters weren't even in their designated themed areas. One performer in particular, a female clown with black and white hair, blew an air horn directly into my mother's and my ears at close range, causing immediate ringing and a migraine that lingered for hours. That kind of proximity-based scare tactic poses legitimate safety concerns and should be addressed immediately. Furthermore, the terrain was uneven and poorly lit, with unexpected drops and steps that posed a hazard, especially for elderly guests. Adding proper signage, lighting, or a simple warning at the entrance would help prevent potential injuries. Overall, while there were moments of entertainment and strong visual effects, the experience did not align with the ticket price or expectations.

There ended up being about 12 of us total. We played several games and it honestly really fun. It wasn't just us though. We played in one huge group with other parties. I think it would've been more fun and better team building if it was just our small group playing or even a mix of the two options. The church game was first and it was super quick! I think it would be good if they have an air refill station in the back so that we wouldn't have to go all the way to the front to refill. The property itself is huge! I definitely recommend!
