We've done a few of these before and really enjoyed them, always ending up with something useful and unique to us, like bowls, vases etc r this time was supposed to be bird house, but we went rogue and made console holders instead. The "Taste of art" classes are offered in many subjects, pottery, wood working glass, print making etc...no experience is needed, it's truly geared towards beginners to see if it's something you'd like pursue further with other classes. Pricing is reasonable, staff has always been friendly, open to helping and supplies are typically always provided. We've done this as a date night to break routine several times and no doubt will do it again. Get your creative juices flowing and go try something new!

The cost is $160 but they do have scholarships available. I was blessed to be awarded one and only had to pay about $60 for the class! This particular class is every Tuesday night for the month of September. There are LOTS of creative classes available in numerous mediums. I'll post a few screenshots to give an idea! They also have classes for youth! There is a parking lot directly across from the building. Just be mindful not to park in any reserved spots. There is also some street parking nearby. The location is visually appealing which I appreciated. The staff members I encountered were very pleasant and helpful as I found my way to the photography studio. The instructor Sydni Bibb is very engaging, helpful and supportive as we all learn what we're doing. I will be relocating soon but if I weren't, I'd be coming here for lots more opportunities to foster my creative side! Incredible place

In September 2025, hubby and I attended a clay pumpkin making workshop by Tracy Levy of Frickery…read moreFrackery Pottery. We were the first ones to arrive. I asked Tracy how many students were attending day, and her response was "Oh, 14-16 students!" This surprised me as the workshop was sold as a maximum of 8 students. Once everyone arrived, sure enough there was barely enough room to work, with everyone squeezed in a tight space. Her studio is located within a shared shop space, so there was lots of noise going on with a TV and chatter from the other tenants' businesses, which made it hard to hear instructions. She also didn't have enough tools and materials to accommodate 16 students, and only 1 assistant to help with the whole class. They ran out of balloons to help support the pumpkin structure, and we had to make do by scrunching up random plastic pieces and stuffing it in our pumpkins instead. I also had other students keep taking tools I needed to work on my pumpkin. We did our best to share, but it was not ideal at all. The crunch time came when we wanted to paint our pumpkins. Hubby went to the paint table, but it was full and Tracy told him there wasn't enough paint or containers. She gave him a dirty container and told him to go wash it off, but we didn't know where water was available either. Hubby raised his voice at this point on how this should have been prepared for us, the students who paid for the class. I looked up from my pumpkin at this point and asked Tracy, "Do we not have enough paint?" I repeated the question again, both times she did not answer. Hubby then brought up that the class was promoted as max 8 students but clearly she squeezed more in for a money grab. Tracy at this point snatched up his pumpkin, held it in her hands and said, "Fine, I can just give you a refund!" At this point, we had already driven an hour to the class and another hour or so making our pumpkins, so we were invested. Hubby backed off and apologized for his outburst. She returned his pumpkin, but would not stop jabbing him and commenting because he refused to have any further interaction with her after this. I had also apologized to her for the outburst just to keep the peace. I had to go around the paint table and ask other students to share the paint. We finally got our pumpkins painted and were told to come back in 4 weeks to collect them after they were fired. Well, we picked up our pumpkins this week and my pumpkin was super messed up. I had taken photos before we left, so you can see the before and after photos. From what I can tell, someone tried to core my pumpkin stem and did not bother putting the stem back properly and fired it as is, causing my pumpkin to collapse. I took photos and emailed Tracy. She cited "Terms and Conditions", and did not respond after I asked for a proper explanation for what actually happened to my pumpkin. We have taken lots of art classes, and this by far is the worst experience we have had with a teacher and studio. I would highly recommend to stay far, far away from this studio!

I decide to try this since I came across a deal for it on Groupon. Managed to talk my friend into…read morejoining me and we set a date. That date was cancelled by the artist due to football on Sundays. Ok, we rescheduled. That, too was cancelled for the same reason. Fed up, we found one for a Saturday (2 months later) with an image we actually like. We arrived at exactly 7pm, and felt like we were 10 minutes late. Our instructor, Angelique, was punctual! We immediately sat down and went to work. I was surprised by how much fun I had. Angelique was funny, full of energy, and very helpful. My girl and I had so much fun painting we forgot to order a drink! We declared that we must do this again! I would have taken stars off for the inconvenience of having to rescheduling it twice, but our initial choices were out of town and we also loved it so much we forgot about that mishap.
