Happy medium is an AWESOME Idea having a space where you can pick your medium is definitely the…read moregoal for some of us but I do have a few suggestions to add: - I love the pottery options they have, would it be possible that the options were clear instead of white? That would have been fun! - I think some of the prices are affordable and some are not, I totally would pay $15 for a ring holder but I dont know If I would pay $48 for a bowl. So if you go keep in mind whats really worth it. - I believe is amazing how they allow the freedom to run wild for each person, but I would have appreciated more companionship from the "waitress" or at least for her to take a moment to guide us more, maybe there is a way where we can be guided over the phone with a video or something - I loved the space, it was all I thought it would be and is pretty spacious. Overall the experience was pretty good, I will be back and check out more of their menu!

Today, I did the watercolor activity and was handed a folder with multiple sized paper and some watercolor paint. I started painting right away. The workers are around to refill the paint/brushes/supplies when you're running low. I felt extremely attended to and I had such a good experience. I think that in the future, I might do the air dry clay activity as drawing/painting is not really my forte.

I am so happy I found this place! I have not ever drawn anything my whole life (stick figures for…read moreUML don't count). I wanted something for a beginner to start me off, not a full-blown art education. I Yelped, of course, and after looking at a dozen studios, I chose this one because they had a "Fear Free" drawing class. How appropriate. Well, the business shares its space with an apartment complex; it sits in the basement. For a claustrophobic person, I was a bit nervous at first as I walked in and saw the office right behind the door. The 2 art rooms are a bit cramped and not at all fancy as I imagined them to be after seeing them in movies, but guess what? This place really grows on you! The owner and instructors are so welcoming, especially to newbies like me who don't even know how to hold a pencil. They not only encourage you, but provide you with instructions catered to your own skill level and comfort zone. So after I stopped breathing for a minute, I raised my hands and asked for help. As you can see, my result after one class (it's charcoal!) There are numerous different classes for every level. You can purchase all your supplies there. What's great for folks that don't know what's needed, they actually bundle all you need and list them on the course site. I basically knew what to expect the first day I was there. Make sure to read the instructions that is emailed to you after you sign up. When you get to the studio, ring the door bell once. Someone will let you in. Just sit and wait. The elevator person will flag you momentarily when the elevator is headed down to the studio. That's it. Enjoy!

The teachers were all incredibly patient and helpful and let us do our thing, but guided us the appropriate amount. We now have amazing custom knives built by our own two hands! I booked a late Father's Day gift for my husband took him to the up-cycle Game Boy class. We love playing games together so I booked it for each of us to get a game boy in the end. You are given the opportunity of picking which gameboy you are going to repair, and you do all the work. You take it apart clean it dry it put it in a I believe was a laser cutter, You customize it and set you up your speaker, screen and motherboard. You get the full experience. He really loved it and so did I, I am not experienced at all in welding or anything like that and the instructors were so helpful and knowledgeable. The way the walk you through it was really helpful to the point I was able to memorize the steps and retake apart the game boy to replace a piece that was oxidized. Don't worry the staff will help you if you're second guessing your ability to do this lol. The best part in the end is you keep it. ^_^ I highly recommend this 1 day class it was very helpful informative and fun. I will be coming back to try to make the survival knife next lol.
