    Thanks Pagliacci & Macrina! (1/3/23)
    Marie B.

Yes, Pagliacci Pizza is a pricey local indie chain. However, one it is priceless for timely convenience and two you definitely get what you pay for...tasty goodness! My usual spot for takeout and onsite slices is near 145th/Greenwood in Broadview/North Seattle. But for convenience, I placed an online order after work in Woodinville and opted to pick up instead at their Kenmore site (1/3/23). Placed an order for a large 17 inch South Philly ($30.99) and a 4 pack of Olivia's Chocolate Chip Cookies from Macrina Bakery ($6) and thankfully it was ready at its appointed time upon my arrival. Plus I happen to order during the first community campaign of the year and received six free Cinnamon Rolls also from Macrina Bakery, bonus! Friendly welcome from counter staff too. Many thanks to the person who put together and baked this particular South Philly....perfect balance of sauce and arrangement of toppings of Cascioppo's Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, parsley, and mozzarella cheese. Once I arrived at my destination at University of Washington campus in Seattle, the tantalizing scent was so compelling, I had to pull over in an adjacent parking area and eat two slices sandwiched together. The Homie was astounded, as he knows his mom never does that. D E L I C I O U S! The joint collaboration with another local indie, Macrina Bakery, was also a great success. Delicious crisp cookies. Tasty cinnamon rolls. No complaints here. Thanks to both Pagliacci Pizza-Kenmore and Macrina Bakery!

I feel it may have had five stars, maybe.. but i took too long to get there and it was cold...all my fault. Probably 4.5. The view on the way of lake washington slowed me down!

We have been ordering from this place from past 3 years and no complaints so far! They have some of the best pizzas - Our favs are Agog Primo (since my husband is veggie) and Spicy Chicken. Worth the price! The crust is so fresh and bursting with flavors! Highly recommend it! The monthly specials have also been amazing!

a half eaten pizza in a box

UPDATE: So they sent me a $15 gift card as a "sorry" for a completely inedible $25 pizza. I called in to say this was insulting and it would have been better off to do nothing than this! They said I was supposed to get a refund plus $15 gift card. Never got a refund. I own a small business. I come from a family that has owned small businesses. My dad's motto was "You can't judge a company based on a mistake. They are run by humans so there WILL be mistakes. You judge a company by HOW they manage the mistake."" Pagliacci has REALLY dropped the ball on this! 1. A completely inedible salty pizza that only had toppings on half the crust. 2. They emailed they were sending a gift card.for a cash refund. I emailed back that I wanted a cash refund. Never heard back. 3. The gift card doesn't even cover the most basic pizza, if less the one I ordered. 4. Was told I was to receive a refund and a gift card. Checked my accounts - never got a refund. So basically I got the "gift" of paying $25 for an inedible pizza. And will now have to pay for half a pizza to replace the completely ruined one. ALL because we tried to support a small business during COVID. Zeeos is opening here in Kenmore soon. I'm sure they would be happier to revive my business. I will never be going back to Pagliacci! And since I am a biz owner myself they will have wish they did. Because it's gonna cost MUCH more than my pizza to gain customers after I tell every single person I know about this horrible service - both in product and customer service! I'll give the card to a neighbor. I wanted a refund. Check my reviews I don't leave many bad ones so I'm not a "difficult" customer. I just wanted food that was edible and thoroughly made.

Eating the best pesto salad and feasts with vegan pizza
    Grecia G.

I've remembered this place from a child with my mom aT the one in Queen Anne. The pesto pasta was amazing and so I had to do it since I'm only in Town for only a little bit. They had vegan pizza it was so delicious! My brother liked the vegan pizza too and he's not even vegan! Amazing place should have 5 full stars!! Great place

Not as tasty as it used to be (thinking different crust recipe) but at least they're not shy on the pepperoni
    Jimmy B.

Oh Pagliacci....what happened? When quality and value cease to exist, there's no reason to further patronize your business. Between the lackluster service and being able to offer only one slice of pepperoni pizza that had been setting out for 30 minute and not knowing when fresh pizza will come out, I had to leave. I wasn't about to gamble on what happened in my last review. I hope things get better, but I may never know.

Not good - Very greasy and not a lot if flavor. Large pizza is ~$30 which is very expensive for what you get.

The vibe is great, lively, casual, and very family-friendly (and yes, lots of kids, which added to the energy). Service was immediate the moment we walked in, which was impressive given how busy it was. One thing I really appreciate is the big beer board, makes choosing a drink quick and easy, especially when you're already relaxed from wine tasting. We came back specifically for the Big Dumper pizza, which we loved on a previous visit, and it absolutely held up. The crust is excellent, the toppings are generous, and everything just works together. This time we also added a dinner salad with blue cheese, which was surprisingly good--fresh, well-balanced, and a nice complement to the pizza. The atmosphere was buzzing, the place was packed, and the servers were clearly hustling to keep up with the demand. Even with the crowd, everything ran smoothly. A fun, dependable spot with great pizza, good drinks, and an energetic neighborhood feel. Definitely a go-to when you're in Woodinville.

I honestly don't get it, but I still tipped above 15% for the service regardless. Service was very attentive, so I do feel they deserve a reasonable tip. But if the restaurant needs the customer to help them pay for their staff with this added surcharge to the bill, then maybe it's better for the staff to find a better job. Seems strange to me. But anyways, regardless, I enjoyed the food quite a bit. I'm usually a pretty tough critique on Italian food since it's one of my favorite cuisines. So for me to say the food is good should say a lot. I got their chicken risotto and I was impressed by it. I also got an opportunity to try some of their pizza and the crust was done very well. Not a floppy pizza. They have a proper pizza oven for baking it. Very good! The restaurant atmosphere feels quite high end. Great for date night, business dinners, or a fancy family meal. The restaurant did feel a bit crowded and tight though. Especially with how busy it was. I honestly think this place has great food. I just hope the staff gets paid enough. Like, I'll tip! Just don't have me pay for what the employer should be paying them. Just have me pay them for their great service.
