Our server, Deb, decided to inform us once the bill arrived that the espresso martini wasn't a part of the special because "it was a higher end liquor". The bill literally said "RAIL VODKA" underneath the $14. It would've been nice if she would've mentioned that prior to getting the drink that wasn't a part of the special. It felt like she was scamming us. The food was all fine. There are NO high chairs for children, so not a place for a family. The hotel and the restaurant have been thoughtfully redesigned and renovated. I understand it was completed about two years ago. You can tell a lot of time and money went into updated 17 rooms and a restaurant so I can appreciate the dedication as small business owners. Any dogs we have encountered were well behaved and better than most kids these days. We went to the restaurant last night but had to sit inside because of the Canadian wildfires which I must say diminished the ability to enjoy the area and I'm sure they ended up with a lot of cancellations because the hotel was only about 1/2 full but the restaurant was doing a decent business.
