I had the Original Paella and it was extremely good. The service was perfect. I highly recommend this truck.

But he put all of our worries to rest. We planned a Mexican feast and that's exactly what we got! We couldn't travel with much for the banquet so we had LFA catering do it all. Food, wines, beers, very nice disposable plates and tableware. Him and his staff were wonderful and polite very professional! We were very pleased with everything and if we were to it again Jason and LFA would be my first call. Thank you very much. We had many compliments on the food.

We hired LFA Catering LLC for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding, and unfortunately, the…read moreexperience was extremely disappointing. Rehearsal Dinner The first signs of trouble appeared here. Despite our wedding planner reaching out hours before the event, Jason (the owner) never responded. He was responsible for providing tables and chairs for 40 guests but brought enough for less than a third. While the food was acceptable, it did not match the quality we experienced during our tasting. Wedding Day Our wedding had about 135 guests; per the contract, the catering team was supposed to arrive 3 hours early to assist with setup, food prep, and drinks. Instead, most staff and food arrived late and during the ceremony. Jason was not on-site and could not be reached until well after the event began. The bartenders arrived on time but with no direction and without mixers (also part of the contract), forcing our planner to purchase them out of pocket. Luckily we provided the alcohol so we at least had beer and wine. Because of their late arrival and lack of organization, we had to delay happy hour, dinner, and the reception. When food was finally served, many agreed-upon dishes were missing, including gluten-free options for guests with dietary restrictions. Portions were inconsistent, and they ultimately ran out of food, leaving 20+ guests--including our band and planner--without dinner. Jason did not arrive until after 8 PM (seven hours late) and offered no apology or solution to running out of food. After the Event The team was contracted to handle cleanup, breakdown and trash removal, but this was minimally worked on. Our planner stayed until midnight to clean what she could, after Jason and his staff had left. The next day, my wife, several guests and I spent the whole morning finishing what Jason hadn't done. Afterwards, while my wife and I are trying to enjoy our honeymoon and recover from the disaster he created with our wedding, he harassed my wife about getting all of the items he had left at the venue (we had to take them and store them in our trailer so we didn't get charged by the venue). He didn't have the decency to communicate during the wedding or make efforts to correct his mistakes, but he sure could call and text us non-stop when it was impacting his pocket book. You might wonder if there were warning signs. Honestly, there weren't--until the rehearsal dinner. Leading up to the wedding, Jason was responsive and helpful. He provided a wonderful tasting, he even met us a couple months in advance to walk venue and discuss our needs and coordinate with our wedding planner. He even worked with us to design a menu that accommodated multiple dietary restrictions. He seemed professional and committed. However, on the day of, he was overcommitted and underperformed. The food quality was nowhere near what we had at the tasting. It seemed either Jason didn't prepare the food himself (the head chef onsite was not Jason) or he cannot scale his recipes. Most dishes were bland, poorly cooked, or inedible. Jason may be a fine chef, but he is not a caterer. Something though that really defines who Jason and LFA Catering is, not once, to this day have we received an apology for everything that happened. In fact, during any conversation, with us or anyone else involved, he has only made excuses and tried to defend his actions saying he did the best he could. I'm sorry, but if that's the attitude you plan to have, I could not in good conscious recommend him to anyone for any catering needs. After reading another review where he no called and no showed, I feel lucky we at least received some food and services. I truly feel for those people. I hope whoever has spent the time to read this and their review, learn from our mistakes and stay as far away as possible from this company.

The space is urban chic with a moderate sized dining room and small bar. I would describe the menu as "upscale comfort". Elevated pork chop, meatloaf, pasta for example. At our table we ordered the swordfish nightly special, the wild mushroom pasta, the pork chops, and the potato croquette appetizer. All were beautifully plated and delicious. We also had two exceptional glasses of Chardonnay, and some beautiful cocktails. We enjoyed our evening. This is a great place for a special night out without needing to be fancy or fussy.

There was a heater, so we figured we could stand it. The hostess rearranged the tables to seat us close to the heater, and left menus. Soon a waitress came with water and took drink orders. Not long after she returned to take our food orders. While we were waiting for the food, someone brought us some warm blankets. All through our meal people kept checking to see whether we needed anything. It was the best service I have seen in a long time, and I arrange a bi-monthly lunch outing for a club I belong to. The food was delicious. The salmon sandwich was incredible, the burrata appetizer was to die for, and I wish everyone had such good French fries. Everyone enjoyed their food and the warm welcome from the staff on a not very warm day.

My girlfriend and I decided to come here because the reviews were great and we hoped that it wouldn't be crowded. And boy am I glad that we did! Do note that parking can be a bit awkward, we decided to park across the street in the post office parking lot which I'm not entirely sure was legal but it was a Sunday so they weren't open anyways. Immediately upon walking in you can take in the entire restaurant. Maybe ten tables, a little counter, and then two doors leading to the restrooms/kitchen respectively. The hostess sat us down immediately and I felt like we were treated so nicely. The small town vibes of the place really shown through. Seems like the place had a bunch of regulars too and the hostess was making conversation. I was torn between the Dayton burger and the waffle with breakfast meat, but ultimately went with the burger. I was not disappointed at all! The burger was cooked perfectly, super juicy and tender. It got a little messy but that's what you want out of a good burger. I also got a side of onion rings. They were very crispy and delicious, and paired well with their aioli. The sandwiches also come with a pickle spear on the side which I love. My girlfriend got the cali burger which was advertised as coming with guacamole. She said it tasted more like mashed avocado than true guacamole; nevertheless she enjoyed her burger. I will definitely be coming back here! Do yourself a favor and enjoy some delicious food while also supporting this super friendly local business.

Saying that I am one of the most laid back go with the flow kinda people and I was not a stressed out bride. They were pretty disorganized from the start. Took a while to respond to emails (it did get better the closer to the date) and on one email they titled it "Hey Erin" even though my name is Emily. Not a huge deal but shows a lack of professionalism. We had requested nineteen tables to be set up but when we got there to start decorating there were only eighteen tables set up. The venue was really gorgeous. I absolutely loved getting married in the barn and all of our guests loved it as well. The inside and outside were perfect for pictures. The food was good. Nothing I would rant and rave about but it was fine. Their homemade salad dressings were really good. We were sincerely disappointed with the bar situation. We had an open bar and didn't seem to have an issue with liquor or wine but they ran out of beer. Right after our ceremony we went outside to take a few pictures and one of my husband's friends went to get us some drinks. My husband had requested a dogfish head beer which we had set up with Early Katering to be served to our guests. Not even thirty minutes into our cocktail hour they were already out of my husbands favorite beer. He was so disappointed. Early Katering must have sent someone out on a beer run but they came back with Bud Light which was not a beer we even wanted served to our guests. We had discussed with Early Katering how much our family and friends would partake in the bar and are frustrated they didn't plan accordingly.

Throughout…read morethe process despite being explicit about our wishes, there were large errors on our wedding day. We requested to have chicken with a white wine/sage sauce, and instead on our wedding day it was just breaded chicken with no sauce. Similarly we requested salmon with their blackberry/bourbon glaze, and instead there was just baked salmon with no sauce. The food was additionally lukewarm, and those were our two main entrees, so that was extremely frustrating. With our charcuterie grazing board at cocktail hour, there were no crackers or crostinis present despite that being in the description and on our contract. We spent so much money and devotion on this aspect of our wedding day, only to have these issues occur and guests state their dislike of the food quality/taste. Communication with this vendor was overall frustrating as the owner would often check up/clarify decisions that have already been established, and the items that she hoped to confirm were often not accurate. Five days before our wedding, she had asked to confirm if we had one passed appetizer, when we had previously established the 3 items we wanted passed around. I also did not utilize their rental services for glassware/cutlery, and because of this they were not planning to supply anything for our cocktail hour despite having a stationary table and passed appetizers. If I did not inquire about it, they were not even going to provide us with cocktail napkins for the passed appetizers! I have been in contact with the vendor since and she was able to provide us with a partial refund (about 1/7 or 14% of what we paid), however this will not change my feelings or frustration present during my wedding day. I would not recommend using this company for wedding catering.
