They greeted us within seconds and also gave lots of great recommendations for shops/restaurants around town. This was my first time having quiche and Chef Chuck did not disappoint. The bread pudding was also amazing! Not normally a fan of raisins in baked goods but was still tasty. We ended up coming back Saturday morning for the cinnamon rolls and really glad we did. We checked out a few caterers for our wedding because good food was at the top of our wedding wants list. My husband and I knew we want to combine southern food with chinese food so that we could have a little bit of both of our upbringings featured. We told Harvest Moon our vision, and wow, did they deliver. Our menu consisted of two different types of salad, duck and pork belly buns, shrimp lo mein, mapo tofu, a carving station with beef tenderloin and chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and mixed vegetables. We also had a couple guests with allergies/restrictions, and Harvest Moon was super accommodating (one of our friends who is a vegetarian couldn't stop raving about the mushroom ravioli). It was all so good. We received so many compliments from our guests. The staff were also so amazing. Everyone was so professional, helpful, well trained, and friendly. It was awesome. The staff even packed up some food and dessert for us and cleaned up everything after the event. I would 100% choose Harvest Moon for catering any event.

Not a huge deal but shows a lack of professionalism. We had requested nineteen tables to be set up but when we got there to start decorating there were only eighteen tables set up. The venue was really gorgeous. I absolutely loved getting married in the barn and all of our guests loved it as well. The inside and outside were perfect for pictures. The food was good. Nothing I would rant and rave about but it was fine. Their homemade salad dressings were really good. We were sincerely disappointed with the bar situation. We had an open bar and didn't seem to have an issue with liquor or wine but they ran out of beer. Right after our ceremony we went outside to take a few pictures and one of my husband's friends went to get us some drinks. My husband had requested a dogfish head beer which we had set up with Early Katering to be served to our guests. Not even thirty minutes into our cocktail hour they were already out of my husbands favorite beer. He was so disappointed. Early Katering must have sent someone out on a beer run but they came back with Bud Light which was not a beer we even wanted served to our guests. We requested to have chicken with a white wine/sage sauce, and instead on our wedding day it was just breaded chicken with no sauce. Similarly we requested salmon with their blackberry/bourbon glaze, and instead there was just baked salmon with no sauce. The food was additionally lukewarm, and those were our two main entrees, so that was extremely frustrating. With our charcuterie grazing board at cocktail hour, there were no crackers or crostinis present despite that being in the description and on our contract. We spent so much money and devotion on this aspect of our wedding day, only to have these issues occur and guests state their dislike of the food quality/taste. Communication with this vendor was overall frustrating as the owner would often check up/clarify decisions that have already been established, and the items that she hoped to confirm were often not accurate. Five days before our wedding, she had asked to confirm if we had one passed appetizer, when we had previously established the 3 items we wanted passed around. I also did not utilize their rental services for glassware/cutlery, and because of this they were not planning to supply anything for our cocktail hour despite having a stationary table and passed appetizers. If I did not inquire about it, they were not even going to provide us with cocktail napkins for the passed appetizers! I have been in contact with the vendor since and she was able to provide us with a partial refund (about 1/7 or 14% of what we paid), however this will not change my feelings or frustration present during my wedding day. I would not recommend using this company for wedding catering.
