The wait staff was amazing, and very attentive. Tish, his right hand, really made the whole day 110% easier. She also knows the venue very well and was able to provide wonderful advice on the space. They also took down all of our decorations and packaged them perfectly at the end of the day. Overall they were amazing to work with and i would definitely use again!

I cannot recommend this place enough. When I put an inquiry in on their website last week, Jim…read morereached out right away and answered all of my questions and gave me a lot of thorough information. A few days after taking to him, my husband and I ended up going into the storefront and getting it all set up on the weekend with Jim and his wife Sile, which was seamless. This included picking the board size, the extras added to it, how many boards, concerns we had, and even the delivery. Honestly, we could've done this on the phone or online, but I'm more of an in-person get details set kind of gal. Fast forward to today. The event ran 30 min shorter than expected so I called and said I could pick it up. Jim was flexible and was still fine with delivering it, which was so helpful. The boards were absolutely stunning and delicious. The choices of cheese, fruit and veggies, dips and jams (made in house), chocolate, nuts, and bread and crackers could not have been any better. The boards got so many compliments and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them.

The meal was delivered on time, there was plenty for all of our guests, and at a very reasonable price. Everyone clearly enjoyed the food and their staff was friendly and unobtrusive. The tenderloin was really , really great , there were vegetarian options. It was so good that I was motivated enough to ask the father of the bride who the caterer was and how he had found them to work with. This is the type of thing that C'ville is all about. The food is great here and I can't say enough…read moreabout it. It's incredibly flavorful and uses exceptionally high quality ingredients. The presentation of the food is always beautiful and classy. I had some of the most memorable foods at the two events I attended that were catered by them. For a foodie like me, that's saying a lot! I first had their food at an Anthro graduate student event at UVA and it was so delicious and classy that I absolutely had to inquire about who did the catering. They had these amazing candied ginger brownies, a wonderful variety of gourmet breads and dips, and some other great desserts that slip my mind now. Everything was to die for. The food was the type of thing that truly shows how much you care about your guests. I used this catering company to cater a Caribbean conference I organized at UVA in 2009 and everything was divine. The roasted red pepper almond dip was to die for...seriously!! The breads were so amazingly tasty. The desserts were perfect (ginger brownies, cinnamon phyllo, citrus cream puffs). Everyone ranted and raved about everything from the presentation to the absolutely wonderful flavor, and they were all asking who did the catering. A Pimento gives attention to every single detail, and I would happily trust them to do any of my events. If I can have them come down to Richmond and do my wedding, I will do it in a heartbeat! Having A Pimento cater my conference was worth every single penny and so much more more. Many, many thanks to Gay and her team for an exceptionally well-done job. Your hard work was very much appreciated. The owner is friendly, very helpful, patient, and professional. Note: Super hard-to-find location. Drive slowly once you're on market street. It's in a very very small unit of a business building. There's a glass door and it's on the side that faces the road.

For dessert we had the panna cota and creme brûlée, which both came in small cups, which was a bit strange but they were great nonetheless. Special note to the service here. They know how to balance the wait staff so that they aren't constantly hovering, but also nonexistent to the point where you have to go looking for them. Everyone was serviced was care.
