We tried this place about 2 months ago now, outside of Three Notch'd Brewing Co in downtown Harrisonburg. I spoke to the owner while she was cooking my food & she was very personable & friendly-I enjoyed our long conversation while waiting on my food. I like that this food truck is a true food truck and now stays mobile, going to breweries & events. They're very good about keeping up with their Facebook page on where they will be & what new foods they've added to the menu. I tried the po boy sandwich which was excellent! We got some breaded wings too in the normal hot sauce & they were really yummy too! We also got some tater tots, which I thought were unique to a menu, but turns out they're just the ones from the freezer section that have been deep fried and sprinkled with a seasoning. Overall, food was really good & so were the portions. I also liked that they put a lot of thought into their menu & the items that change on it, and that they home-make some of their wing sauces. I'm giving this 4/5 because of the disappointing tater tots, and I felt some menu items were a bit overpriced. It also took quite a while to make the food. I would definitely go back again though! :-) read more

In terms of beverages, I ordered horchata because I always order horchata. I have yet to meet a horchata I didn't like, and this was no exception. Sweet and delicious. I ordered birria tacos and a loroco pupusa. The birria was tasty and savory, as to be expected. Like most people, I dip my tacos in the broth because it's delicious. The loroco pupusa was really cheesy, which is a plus for me. All in all, this was a great place and I look forward to going back to try other items on their menu.

Melissa, Jay, Erica and crew were outstanding. Great communication, professional and on time. They went above and beyond to make our day easy and stress free. The appetizers, pizza, and salad were so delicious. I was running on adrenaline, as I'm sure most brides do, and still took note of their hustle. It was delicious! My husband ordered the pepperoni which was equally good. We devoured them pretty quickly. The edges were blackened but still flavorful - exactly what I imagined for a wood fired pizza! I heard that the margherita is amazing so I plan to try that next time. If you see this food truck around - I highly recommend ordering a pizza

Both were well made and had plenty of flavor. The cashier at the food truck was super friendly and had a great sense of humor. Fried chicken goodness on a brioche, plenty of jalapeno slices, cheese, and an aioli. The brioche bun was fluffy and did a great job of holding all of the flavor into bites. A side of fries that were great compliment to the richness of the sandwich. The sandwich was a great balance of spicy and buttery. No ketchup or other condiments needed.

They were sitting on an ample slice of their sourdough bread. That was the first issue. It was IMPOSSIBLE to cut. I guess I could have asked for a steak knife or maybe a power tool. But, there was so much other stuff that I was able to have a very filling meal without it. The other issue was that the lightly dressed side salad was doused in dressing. Again, didn't complain because, for me, it wasn't a problem during this visit. Issues aside, if I come back to Hagerstown, I'll look for an excuse to come back.

White Oak Lavender Farm

Recently visited here for a girls weekend. We had about 13…read morein our party. The grounds were beautiful. I can only imagine what they look like in the spring and summer. The wine tasting was nice. With large parties you are given a flight to try. No need to stand in the tasting room. I liked several of the flavors. After the tasting we took a walk around the grounds taking in all the animals. Because it was winter, we didn't spend a lot of time in the lavender fields. We did however visit the lavender shop. I purchased a lavender honey spot and some delightful lemon crunch lavender ice cream. Overall staff were friendly. I would recommend this business for anyone in the area or visiting massanutten.

You really get to enjoy an immersive, interactive experience on the farm. There is something for everyone, from interactive gardens and live animals. The best for a cute little DIY wine tasting. You can bring your own charcuterie platters, which is what we did to go along with our tastings. They have tasting room called the Purple Wolf Vineyard where you can purchase your portable tastings, wine, beer and slushy flights . I would definitely return again, great place to host a cute birthday event, with your friends. They also have a really nice gift shop as well.
